In all honesty, I love how rough and imperfect it is. It just gives a different feel. An amazing feel. Pure and heart felt. She's focusing on the emotions rather than her voice, which is simply an instrument joining in on the lyrics of the song.

Legendary. I love this song. The only reason her voice was flat could have been the effect that her singing style has had on her voice. The extreme stress she puts on her vocal cords in order to have that original sound is probably changing her voice and affecting her ability to sing in certain keys.
