Nice! I like the fact that there is a roll bar and that it can be up when the "hard top" is on. I have a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible with 17k miles. It seats four people even with the soft top up. The headrests for the rear passengers actually hide roll bars.

One of the few cars that looks great with the top down, the canvass top up or the hardtop on.
Would have been helpful to show what switches / buttons to utilize on the INSIDE ? Or prep needed to do this !

I was looking at an SL 500 online and there was no mention of a hard top in the description. Does the hardtop come standard with this car? Also can 1 person put the hardtop on? Thanks.
yes it does , and no the top is far to heavy for a single person to safely remove( key word being safely).

I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't know that you could have the soft top and the hard top. I thought that if you opted for the hard top you wouldn't have the soft top and vice versa, but thanks to *this* video I now know that you can have both tops and the hard top is for the winter.

Marvelous you showed us nothing but what it looks like when you change to convertible. Why wouldn't you show us the interior switches that, you know, operate the hydraulics so that you can actually remove the hard top and put on the rag top? But my favorite part was watching you leave the antenna up and then having to lift over it. Adorable music ;-)
