The pogo stick is a good idea cause I have seen some trucks without it and all of the trailer connections are held up by a spring that's mounted to the grab handle that is under the back glass. Those line always tend to rub up against the paint. The coiled spring shouldn't be a option just because of that, pogo stick should be standard and a option for the dealer to remove if the customer doesn't want it.
Always great comments, Wayne. You are correct. I prefer the pogo stick myself. Believe or not there are some applications where it does make sense to have the A&E lines hooked to the back of cab/back of sleeper. However, I think the pogo stick is the way to go. We can always convert to no pogo stick or relocate the pogo stick closer or further back from the back of cab/back of sleeper.
@@tquadzilla I think any option is better than taking the chance of the trailer lines rubbing against or even through the paint. Thanks for posting these great looking trucks!
Does the 100 gal. on the LH side and 150 gal. on the RH side line up at the rear? I’ve looked at other specs with a 100/135 combo, but not a 100/150. Looks like the spacing on this combo is pretty symmetrical.
Hello Richard, you are correct. A true left lane cruiser will at least have the 2050 Torque. We have several 2050 torque available. Typically, most of the 605 HP 2050 Torque trucks we sell are for heavy haul application, but we do order 605 HP 2050 Torque for some owner operators as well.
Here is the VIN VIN1XPXD49X6MD750171 Here is a link to the actual truck www.rushtruckcenters.com/truck-sales/truck-inventory/431455-peterbilt-389 Sorry. This truck does not have the swivel seats. We would be happy to swap them out for you or order a truck with the swivel seats.
What is the factory ride height on the air ride steer? I have it on my new truck and it sits way higher in the front end than this beautiful blue ride does!!
Standard drop is 3.5 inches. There is the optional “car hauler” 5 inch drop. This truck has the 3.5 inch drop with Lo pro 24.5 tires. Lo pro 22.5 tires will have a larger fender gap. Typically we omit the front spacer brackets as well. Having spacer brackets may cause the higher stance on your truck as well.
That's another sharp looking Blue. Once it has its chrome hub and nut covers it going to look even sharper!

"True" owner-operator spec would be 605 / 2050 X15, at least for me!
