Clarity!! Loved the slow motion. It really helped me understand. Can’t find any videos that explain it in the way you do.

Same here! Can’t find a single one foot spin tutorial for rollerblades, hopefully it’s possible😆

@@isabellacassar3793 i’m sure it is 🥺🤍 it certainly is possible on off-ice types of rollerblades but I’ve seen slalom skaters spin on one wheel with traditional! I’d presume it’s quite hard but never impossible!

I have an instructor that is teaching me a different way which I find very hard. Have you heard of going counterclockwise direction, staying on your right foot and pick up your left? I asked him again & again to be sure. I can't do it.

Yes 1 foot spin counter clockwise on the right foot is a thing. It sounds like you’re skating coach naturally wants to spend that way. And he is assuming that is your natural way to spin,
You should tell him that you naturally spin the other way, so teach you the one foot spin spinning in your direction. I hope that makes since 🤪

can i ask what type of surface is this and what type of wheels you are using ? thankyou😊 currently trying to spin on a smooth tennis court on 82A's if that helps!

In this vid, I am skating on my garage floor, it is definitely less grippy than your outdoor tennis court surface but it still has a little grip, which you probably still want a little grip while you’re learning to spin. My wheels at very hard very little grip in comparison to your 82 is, the wheels are probably 101a .
You should definitely get yourself some hard dance wheels and start playing around with the idea of your wheels sliding during spins.
To get used to them, you can keep one of your grippy wheels on the wheel that supposed to be gripping the floor, such as your big toe. When you are practicing this spin/the inner back upright spin, the big toe will is the one that you want to grip, all the other ones you want to slide.

Are you on the ball of your foot?

Kinda, but no, I’m on my big toe wheel and it other three wheels are just barely caressing the concrete. So my weight is at the front of my Skate, but 95% of my weight is on my big toe wheel
