- While we were at Cleetus and Cars !! Shawn was busy rockin on Sho’nuff! He got into building the turbo manifold on our little s2000 hot rod and whoa did it turn out rad!! So sit back relax and let’s gooo!!

Hey Brent. The Kole truck has a Wilwood wide-5 starlight hubs. The replacement part # is 270-2290r. They have a replacement that I believe is steel made by quarter master # 176310. It is 4x the price so maybe worth just switching out hub assembly. These hubs are used so you can fit a extra wide tire on the axle.
the quarter master number is for a hub designed for a cambered housing and axle, meaning it will have less spline contact. both coleman and howe make steel 8 bolt drive flanges for non cambered setups.
Sharkey you are absolutely correct. Coleman part# you need is the ADF-815. Howe part# HOW205832.
Strange and others also offer steel replacements - www.raceplumbing.net/Howe-205832-Drive-Flange-8-Bolt-24-Spline-Steel-Howe-Wide-5-Hub-Each_p_49185.html - seems to be a little more reasonable.
Personally, I don't consider it that expensive if you think what it cost to get to the track for one aborted run - would have paid for steel several times over!
Or just put a reg rear end in it

Sho’nuff videos have the best soundtracks. The engine pulls and drag racing sound tracks are my favourite.

Watching Shawn crush this project makes me want to build something my self, been on the hunt for a toy recently, but want to do something different. Maybe a early 90's Mercedes SL500 and do a heart transplant. Ive seen that a 2J will mount into the Merc engine mounts, so no adapters needed, but I think it would be cool to do an LS of some kind and stuff a single turbo in there. Idk, I'll think of something. Love these videos and all the content you guys push out!
