I remember when Wilton manors was up and coming. Geories had just opened. Richard weixler was the only place to get your hair done. Wilton station wasn't even a thought. The ramrod was the hottest spot in town. Nothing was established. I mean NOTHING was there yet. Poinsettia heights was the newest place for gays to live. I literally was there
It was fun. TRUST me. It was a great time in South Florida
I've lived in Wilton Manors for four years. It is not very nice and I am considering moving. The people are unfriendly. Unlike the video I do not know my neighbors except for one who is the HOA president and is an asshole. He has done illegal things as HOA vice president. The traffic is great so Miami although 30 miles away takes 1 1/2 hours of driving time down I-95. There are a lot of bars and that counts as the night life. I retired to this place and it was a mistake economically. Can't wait to leave.
