I got this slub of Hard Maple and decided to turn a bowl, my second bowl ever. First time using Bowl Gouge.

With so many video's on YT showing the miriad of complex turning styles, like segmented turning, staved projects, inlays and patterned plywood, I think we often forget about the beauty in a traditional wood bowl. Awesome work!
On a side note, your poor back must have been screaming that night, between bending over what seems like a very low lathe to shoveling all that snow, safe to assume you're in Canada, haha?

Hahaha, yeah that lathe is a bit too low for a 6 foot guy! I don't know yet how do I extend it without adding vibration to it... Maybe I will invest in better machine, will see.
