This was an informative video. I first heard both Hendrix and Led Zeppelin around 1977, I about 11 years old. I did not know that Zeppelin were copying other peoples music at that time. Later I learned those were from others music but I still have never heard any of the original songs performed by the artist's that wrote them. I still listen to them both, I like Jimi Hendrix a lot and have most of his albums, but I listen to Led Zeppelin a lot more and have all of their albums.

Yes, some of the early Led Zeppelin songs were heavily influenced by early blues songs but I think they also made them their own. Whole Lotta Love and How Many More Times were based in the older blues but Zeppelin made and played them as explosive rock anthems. LZ turned the power up and basically made them their own. I do think LZ could have given a credit here and there to the earlier artist but I am quite comfortable saying their first two albums introduced a new type of rock/blues based music. Listen to Zeppelin live at BBC recordings and you can hear a youthful defiance explode out of the speakers that was unique to them.
Back in the day artists did other people's songs ALL the time. They often made them their own based on their interpretation of the song. Sometimes, their version was a bigger hit than that of the original artist. A more modern example of this would be Whitney Houston recording "I Will Always Love You," which was written and recorded by Dolly Parton years before.

Zeppelin didn't credit Dixon originally. Zeppelin would later have to share songwriting credits after Dixon took legal action against them.
