I do not think Gåte is worrying. After they won the Norwegian finale (already having planned their Norwegian summer tour), their win comes in December 2024 with concerts in Aschaffenburg, Berlin (2x), Bochum, Munchen and Hamburg (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Milano (Italy), Zurich (Switzerland), Paris (France) Dublin (Ireland), London and Manchester (UK), Utrecht (Netherlands), Krakow and Warsaw (Poland) in 18 days. For a band playing progressive folk-rock with Norwegian lyrics getting the chance to establish a Pan-European fanbase is unheard of. The only similar "impossible" story is "Kaizer's Orchestra who found a faithful fanbase in Europe due to their awesomeness trumping any language barrier. Even if less than 1% of Europeans ever hear about them, their potential fanbase could increase 10-fold compared to their native Norway which is big for a band in the tiny genre of Prog. They are so good that I am certain that word of mouth will create a lasting demand after this 3-week sprint across Europe for 2025.
