Love the hypocrisy all around this guy. Talking about love and unity when he's obviously misbehaving behind the scenes, acting awkward towards Israel and doesn't seems to be very cooperative. Imagine guys, he could have just gone there singing his song while also enjoying the atmosphere. Having a chill time. He might even have won it. But no, he decided otherwise.
Imagine you are an organizer of an event where music is supposed to bring us together and you exclude an artist who preaches exactly that in his song. and all because you, as the organizer, could not ensure that his privacy and well-being were protected. As if that weren't enough, you subsequently benefit from the artist by leaving his videos online under your name and collecting the views and the resulting money.
This is silly, If you worked for an organization and someone of the talent you invite allegedly threatens you/someone cause you're/they're part of the TV stage developer when stage training goes wrong then if that is reported to the police and an investigation is opened up the show will take that serious until proven false/true. Maybe don't get upset with your crew even if stuff goes wrong?

In 2 months, at this time, Switzerland has 5,379,277 views and the Netherlands has 25,936,233 views... That says it all... The winner should have been the Netherlands...
You do realise that lots of those people (including me) came here to listen to the song that they didn't hear in the to grand finals tho? :P The fact that it has more views here doesn't make it better or anything (aside from the fact that eurovision is not a place where best songs win, whatever "best" would mean in this case cuz it's kinda impossible to judge that properly. I gotta admit I like this song more than swiss one tho.
This song should've won for the following reasons: 1. It's fun 2. It's about Europe This might've been one of the biggest upsets in Eurovision history.
Even if he doesn't officially win. Milions of people will have this happy earworm in their head. That is a win in itself! Beautiful tribute to his parents and his own growth. It's got so many layers and symbolism, I love that.
His parents are really proud of him and the rest of the world. His song is really beautiful and his heart too. He was honest tho, he expressed his opinion openly and supported the people who are suffering much respect to him and much love from Greece to the Netherlands 🇬🇷❤🇳🇱 you deserved to win and in reality you won keep going!
Im dutch. Seen him live. If we all know his life story we know how crazy this is. Best part his not in eurosong to win it. He's pure in eurosong festival since he wants to make his parents proud. If he wins or loses. Message of the day: he said he'll be on eurosongfestival one day to his dad and he achieved it. Win or lose. He made his dad proud anyway since he achieved the podium. Joost klein, droom groot aka Joost little(last name), dream big. Eenhoornjoost. Geef ons een vette show. Niet alleen voor ons. Maar vooral voor je ouders!
Thought it was a joke when I first heard it. But when I learned what he’s saying, man this is a banger ALSO EUROVISION WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?
The most european eurovision song in the most dutch way possible. Expected a lot from Joost and he delivered. Can't go wrong with happy hardcore and deep lyrics.
I legit started crying with the outro. I went to the Netherlands to work in 2021 after Covid hit Spain and personally my economy and my mother's, so I decided to go to warehouses in NL to work, I learned some Dutch and as soon as I heard "Ik miss je elke dag" my eyes got wet asf
This is even a cropped version of the outro, the original (extended) outro (on Spotify) is even more emotional. These are the translated lyrics. "On a crusade in my jeans, walking through the fields. My mom and my dad are forever my heroes. At the end of the day we're all human. My father once told me "it's a world without boundaries.". Rain on the window, I was crying by the window. Dark way too early, it's winter while spring. "I miss you everyday." Is what I silently whisper. Look at me now dad, I've listened to you."
Finally a song that was missing at Eurovision, a perfect song, including dance creations and Happy Hardcore style, greetings from the Czech Republic to Netherland 🇨🇿->🇳🇱, 12 points from Czech Republic.
