The housing market was (and still is, IMO) way overheated/overpriced. Combined with overabundance of STRs and waning revenue prospects of purchasing an STR, I decided to wait…and am glad I did.

When you post on multiple sites do you turn off instant booking so as to not double book yourself? And even then how do you deal with multiple requests for the same time frame?
There are many PMS systems that you can manage direct bookings and also add a Channel Manager in which this will link your calendar to many channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, OTAs and many more.
On analyzing deals, this is my primary residence that I’m wanting to turn into a mid term/ short term rental How do I calculate that cause my apr is way better than what’s available now? Thanks for all the great advice!
Do you openly tell your mortgage lender the property is for an air bnb? My lender still treats it as an investment property and requires 15% down for single family homes.

I think u guys missed the most important step. Do u need an llc a lawyer or does renters insurance cover everything.
