- While visiting the Jonesborough, Tennessee area, we took a short trip down to Limestone, to visit yet another Amish store.
This one is called Troyer's Mountain View Country Market.
Thank you for sharing this video. You all were about 3 minutes from my home in Jonesborough. Today March 3rd was my 68 th birthday and since I am homeboumd this was a nice birthday gift. I was able to tour the store and get a glimpse of it imside. Of course my greatest gift would have been the pleasure of meeting you and Miss Shawnasi. I have eaten at the Restaurant the Mountain View next door to Troyers many times. Jonesborough is a very beautiful and historic part of Northeast TN. That store reminds me of some stores and places near us. I really enjoy country and Amish stores. Keep those wonderful videos coming. I enjoy traveling with you both. I miss the smokies and Tennessee so much. Thanks for taking me "home."

Wow... This video made me think of so many things! First... Derrick, your mention of hog pieces in a jar made me think of something that my grandfather, father, and I used to buy. Remember Penrose Pickled Sausages in a jar? I hadn't bought them in ages. Depended on the plastic-pack versions like you see at 7-11 as roadfood. Looks like that's all that they now make. Do you recall seeing Strawberry-Rhubarb pies there? Yes, my favorite! Finally, I looked-up both Bulls Gap and Limestone on Triptik. Neither would be unreasonable for me on a trip to/from Pigeon Forge. I wonder how much new business you've sent the businesses which the two of you have reviewed? Have any of them thanked you for reviewing them. I can't wait to "roadtest" one of y'all's reviews for myself! God Bless!

I know! We made this video a week ago, and have kept it private for the sake of linking it to our friend's Airbnb, and we were waiting for them to give us the "go ahead and post it". Then I see that FF were there and posted yesterday evening.

Yes, they did. They posted it Thursday evening. We made this video last weekend, but I was keeping it unlisted until our friends gave us the go ahead on publishing the video of their Airbnb, since I wanted to link the 2 videos together.

Yes, I saw theirs last night. We've had this video ready for a week, but didn't make it public because of wanting to link our friend's Airbnb at the end, and waiting for them to give the okay.
Love this place! Where I go to buy all my spices and flour. FYI the first Tuesday of each month they have a food truck rally with 20 plus local trucks show up. It is amazing and a must to go to at least once

It is a great place to visit. This store is very similar to the one we went to in Bulls Gap and did a video on, about 5-6 weeks ago.
Thanks for another great video. We enjoy our trips to Amish country in Holmes County here in Ohio. They also have Troyers store. Our favorite restaurant there is Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen in Mount Hope.

We moved from Asheville to Greene county a few years ago (love it here, more our speed), and we shop at Troyer's regularly. They have a smaller location off of 107 as well. We absolutely love them, but if you go on Saturdays, it is usually real busy.

You really should have tried the Pretzels and the food at the first place is supposed to be awesome,, I put this on my must stop to eat places ,,The burgers look awesome ! Thanks for sharing
The burgers do look great. I know there are lots of things there we should try, but we had already spent a considerable amount, so we'll have to do it on our next visit.

We had just bought so much other stuff already, that we couldn't imagine buying donuts, too.

I no longer work, but hubby still does.. actually he has two jobs, so it's hard for us to do much traveling anywhere..but looking forward to our beach getaway end of April into May. Then try to plan day trips when schedules allow. Always enjoy your adventures ☺️

The pretzels they make are incredibly good.
