I kind of like the smaller pallette. I dont like big pallettes because I know I won't use up all the eyeshadow before it goes bad. The smaller has the mirror and easier to travel with as well, so it ended up being the perfect size and motivation for me to buy the JC pallette in general!
I personally could care less if my palette has a mirror or not but it makes me mad that the eyeshadows were reformulated. Not only would I like to have a smaller palette but I would’ve liked to have had more pigment in each shade

I love that a lot of creators and people are getting more environmentally conscious. Small changes matter! I use metal straws for my iced coffees and recycle the cups. I use a reusable tumbler at work. I use reusable grocery bags as often as I can. Paper if I cant. And I so appreciated tati beauty using a paper alternative to bubble wrap. Going on a no buy after this unless I need refills but let's face it I'm set for a min

Honestly, ever since the Subculture debacle I haven’t been interested in ABH. Same with the Jaclyn Hill Vault with Morphe. You think there would be better quality control, but unfortunately there wasn’t and I’d rather spend my money on a brand that cares about the consumers.
I think that’s a really valid point and I get what you’re saying, but I honestly don’t think that was the case with Subculture. I bought one of the original “bad batch” palettes and I absolutely love it. It definitely has to be applied and blended in a different way than most palettes, but if I treat them like pressed pigments I can get really beautiful looks from it. I think if they had marketed it differently they wouldn’t have gotten the backlash they did and wouldn’t have needed to repress them later.

Not to mention the Jackie Aina palette smokes all the other collab palettes, it's the most versatile imo for all skin tones without being overwhelming and it looks amazing on every skin tone

Thomas, donate the extra makeup. It can be sanitized before you send it to them, but you can donate it and that will help mom's in abuse shelters. Think about it.
Another option for donating is to foster care agencies. Makeup and beauty stuff in general isn't necessarily considered "essential" by some foster parents (don't get me started 👿), so the teens would LOVE it. I used to buy tons on clearance and find out when teens were coming in for counseling and visits and let them go through it and they definitely enjoyed it.
I'm trying to buy only the bare necessities , and with eyeshadow palettes I rarely buy them. This isn't because I don't want them, but rather that I've chosen that i only need one color of each, now when a new palette comes out I'll go look at the palettes I have and try to figure out if i need the palettes or not. Since I've started that I've only bought 1 palette this year.

you got my attention when you started taking about TOOFACED. I love love love their hangoverxr primer, born this way foundation, and their born this way concealer. I don't think I'll wear any other foundation. The color caramel just melts and blends into my skin so well.
If you have any products that you know your not going to use, you can always donate them to women's/DV shelters. 1) The products are not being wasted. 2) It's a great cause. ABH did release all the palettes extremely fast but they weren't supposed to be released that close together. One was leaked and the others were about to be leaked too so they just released them before that happend. BUT the ones they released on their own were still way too close together and they didn't even give Jackie Ania or Carli Bybel their moment & time to shine!
Girl Norvina contradicted herself so many times you must not have heard her many changing reasons. Her most recent statement is Norvina is a brand under the ABH umbrella or like a sister brand now so she could have her own section of products (“she’s the artistic fun one and abh is more classy”)so she “needed to release a lot to fill up her section at the store”. But if that was the case they all should’ve been released all at once not slight separated and this whole excuse should’ve been made clear from the start. All these many different contradictory statements she’s been making were all just efforts/excuses to try and save face.

No source is accurate. It's a bunch of vague nonsense. If you ask any of people who believes it to explain why your sun sign doesn't match your personality they pull moon sign, then when it doesn't match they tell you you are dishonest with yourself and give 1056867 other excuses. Also diffrent sites give diffrent descriptions, reading. People pretend to understand it, call themselves witches to feel unique. People just want to believe in supernatural stuff. Indulging them in pretending it's valid is dangerous. We already suffered through religion tyrany. We don't need date of birth based discrimination.

Thomas, donate the extra makeup. It can be sanitized before you send it to them, but you can donate it and that will help mom's in abuse shelters. Think about it.

Another option for donating is to foster care agencies. Makeup and beauty stuff in general isn't necessarily considered "essential" by some foster parents (don't get me started 👿), so the teens would LOVE it. I used to buy tons on clearance and find out when teens were coming in for counseling and visits and let them go through it and they definitely enjoyed it.

I'm trying to buy only the bare necessities , and with eyeshadow palettes I rarely buy them. This isn't because I don't want them, but rather that I've chosen that i only need one color of each, now when a new palette comes out I'll go look at the palettes I have and try to figure out if i need the palettes or not. Since I've started that I've only bought 1 palette this year.

I LOVE that you are taking about important issues that are going on with the world. You get deep in a sometimes shallow community and I appreciate that. I feel like people ignore talking about important topics like that in the beauty community. Margo Shipley what I remember is they now sell in China, so they’re not considered cruelty free any longer. I think I’m right.
They don’t personally but they do sell in China where the Chinese government does test on animals before allowing it to be sold in the country.

you got my attention when you started taking about TOOFACED. I love love love their hangoverxr primer, born this way foundation, and their born this way concealer. I don't think I'll wear any other foundation. The color caramel just melts and blends into my skin so well.
If you have any products that you know your not going to use, you can always donate them to women's/DV shelters. 1) The products are not being wasted. 2) It's a great cause. Lastly 3) The women are super grateful and it helps build their confidence. You would be doing a terrific thing. Just an idea 💜 Love u sis 😊

ABH did release all the palettes extremely fast but they weren't supposed to be released that close together. One was leaked and the others were about to be leaked too so they just released them before that happend. BUT the ones they released on their own were still way too close together and they didn't even give Jackie Ania or Carli Bybel their moment & time to shine!
Girl Norvina contradicted herself so many times you must not have heard her many changing reasons. Her most recent statement is Norvina is a brand under the ABH umbrella or like a sister brand now so she could have her own section of products (“she’s the artistic fun one and abh is more classy”)so she “needed to release a lot to fill up her section at the store”. But if that was the case they all should’ve been released all at once not slight separated and this whole excuse should’ve been made clear from the start. All these many different contradictory statements she’s been making were all just efforts/excuses to try and save face.
@@KagomeYasha023 a sephora employee leaked the one palette and someone else threatened to do the others. I guess they didn't want everyone to know so they made that section excess up. The filling section excess is just dumb.

No source is accurate. It's a bunch of vague nonsense. If you ask any of people who believes it to explain why your sun sign doesn't match your personality they pull moon sign, then when it doesn't match they tell you you are dishonest with yourself and give 1056867 other excuses. Also diffrent sites give diffrent descriptions, reading. People pretend to understand it, call themselves witches to feel unique. People just want to believe in supernatural stuff. Indulging them in pretending it's valid is dangerous. We already suffered through religion tyrany. We don't need date of birth based discrimination.

I love that you're concern about the environment when purchasing makeup. Personally, I only buy cruelty-free makeup and skincare products for almost 20 years now. I think we have enough variety in the market so we can afford to choose which brand to support.
