Why not target some more important units than empire swordsman?
How are you getting groups to attack multiple units without ordering it individually?
By having them in a locked control group and given an attack order at the "middle" of the enemy lines.

it also left lcick then drag the direction in warhammer 2, without it all those line and "tear shaped" spells wouldn't be even half as useful
