Hey what’s up man? There is no catalyst installed. It’s all straight piped. I should’ve taken a photo of the valve and seats. It’s hard to believe that much loss in a manifold.
Chase Diaz Yeah it’s crazy you’re down on so much power. Even with the Fullblown mani I had which has shorter runners.. I didn’t have severe power loss. Just 10. If I ever install my Skunk2 Intake mani I’ll be sure to share my experience.
f20kills please do share. I went as far as trying my custom short ram intake (basically 3.5 90 right out of the throttle body) and my afr didn’t change much. To me that disproves the intake from having too much turbulence. I would assume that’s true lol.
Chase Diaz so I just dyno’d my 2.4 13:1 car with this mani. I’ve come to the conclusion that this mani with any headwork other than stock, hurts performance. I lost 10whp everywhere except at peak. Peak was the same. I’ve talked to 3 others with this mani and all have made power(shared dyno sheets too)but with stock head. So final peak numbers for my 2.4 was 245. I usually make 240-255 in the dyno I use. I’m convinced head work and big intake mani hurts velocity. I’m going SC so hopefully this mani and head work show good gains.

Sucks you’re losing power like that. The cylinder wall wear is normal and no out of spec. I’d leave it as is :)
