Love the quality of the production! The battle report was fun to watch. The secenry looks very practical, but I would love to maybe see more detailed scenery in the future :)
I am happy this came up in my feed! Fun report and I love Frostgrave and not many people have been making more videos with other game it seems! Did you make that terrain? The board and minis look great!
It's amazing! I'm happy someone still makes batreps about Frostgrave! I hope you will keep making the other scenarios! BTW i see some pirate-themed minis on the preview. Do you play Ghost Archipelago too?
Yeah, we've played Ghost Archipelago too. I did a few text battle reports for games that Stef and I played before I started making videos: scottsgameroom.com/tag/quest-for-the-crystal-pool/
I‘m interested how you handle the rewards after the game - do the players get xp and treasure to buy future squads or how does it work? I‘m not familiar with frostgrave - is that part of the core rules or did you establish that?
Frostgrave has a built-in campaign system. Wizards can improve their abilities, make spells easier to cast, and learn new spells from grimoires with their level ups. Gold coins can buy improved soldiers, and magical items can get equipped after being found.
You can grab an abstract "base" which gives you other benefits depending on which you grab. I think you can get a mausoleum and raise zombie is a cheaper spell or hold up in an inn and have an extra alternative in your warband in case one is wounded for a game. I believe you get five gold crowns after every game for the ale you sell at your inn. At least that is what I remember. It has been a while since I have played but it is a lot of fun, just a lack of players in my area. I highly recommend it

This was one of the most fun battle reports I have seen. Thank you!
Frostgrave looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the share!!
Absolutely amazing watch! Very enjoyable.
Great looking warbands. Nice to see frostgrave reports
Great stuff man. Concise and compelling.

Yeah, I built these ruins from foamcore boards and hot glue. It's a pretty efficient way to get a full table of ruins.
Keep them coming! and let us know what bases you took if any.
Nicely done report! I liked the mix of top down with cinematic action shots. Bummer about your apprentice...
The ending of the 2nd turn and that whole 3rd turn were painful.
Very nice BR !

Great fight, love Frostgrave. Sadly it's been a while since I personally got a game in.
Thanks! Hopefully you’ll be able to get a game in sometime soon.
There are solo rules now for Frostgrave and I'm setting up my table to play that way once I clear my current Battletech AS game.
Background music?
The background track for this one is Descent (Intensity 2) from Ovani Sound's Fantasy Music Pack Vol 4.
@@scottsgameroom1 Thank you much.
