Very good video and great energy. Good quality video and well explained. Thanks to this video I am going to go ahead and buy this bike for my mother to ride in Spain. 🇪🇸 Thanks!
Hello, I also have this bike. Can you please help me with the settings? I can't start the pedal assistant. The lever works for me. Or list the values of P-0....and P-1. I would be very grateful. I can't find it anywhere .
I bought this bike. Could you please write the original superpositions on the display? P0-P1. I misplaced something there by mistake. I can't find it according to the type and number of the display. Thank you for your willingness
I'm willing to buy this bike, but the reviews on Trust pilot are scary. 90% are completely negative regarding quality and after sale.....can any one can tell about the experience in the long term?
Bought this bike, charged the battery, inserted battery correctly, turned key to on. Lcd has power but throttle does not. Am I doing something wrong to get it to go?
@baconbuttties fair point that. I'm waiting for the government consultation to finish before I decide what to do. I'm sure the legislation is going to change. The throttle/power restrictions are problematic to police and 15.5 mph is too restrictive imo.
@@baconbuttties Depends on the DIY'er. I use Tesla level 21700 Li-Ion cells in my BBSHD ebike builds. Batteries I use are much higher quality than any bike like this bike you test which uses cheap Chinese cells. But, in America overall, I don't worry much about ebikes built by companies that make a lot of ebikes. Many battery fires for the record are 'owner' error.
Whatever you do, please don't go off roading with those wheels cast wheels or serious injury will follow. Tbh, i would say this bike is at least £400 over priced and i'd love to see the distance check on boost setting and their claim of 80-120 km and as Ricky Tomlinson would say, My Arse, i'll place my bet now, so fully charged, using pedal assist on completely flat ground it will not manage a distance of 55 km.
Every single ebike range claim is based on many variables, its definitely not based on throttle only. The bike only comes in around £600 and you say it's £400 over priced. Where can you get any ebike for £200?
@@baconbuttties lol i agree variables, and nowhere can you buy an ebike for £200 i just would not part with more for that bike, just me saying my opinion i'm sure it has its market though for people released from Broadmoor, lol.
@@howardridge1153 I can definitely see a market for this ebike. It folds up compactly so could be ideal for a camper or caravan holiday. Also good for people in flats with limited space. What bike have you got? Didn't you tell me before?
Ebikers don't seem to understand that silently passing ppl within a foot at 15-20mph is incredibly rude and intimidating. 'Look at me! I'm grossly overweight and not pedalling! Wheeeeeee!'

I haven't got the bike to look at the display, sorry.
would this be good for a very 1st e-bike
Yes 👍👍
Thanks for doing the review. One question. If my kid sits on the back, is there a place for his feet to go? Thank you.
You would have to buy add on pegs
Review somemore budget friendly options like this Hyuhome

I can't give you any long term experience, have you watched any other reviews on youtube or long term users.
It's a shame that it is not road legal due to it having a 350w motor. Looks similar to the ENGWE L20?
It's a little bit smaller than the L20.

Have you turned the power assist levels up on the LCD?
Thank you. My child figured it out! Yes it was set to zero and needed to be changed.@@baconbuttties

Can the Samebike CY20 be used on the road ?
@@derekdavies7573 it's not technically legal as its 350 watts
How fast is it?
32km/h
@@baconbuttties okay i Think
It was 42 km/h
This would have been awesome without the step thru design
👍👍
I worry about these cheap e-bikes - especially the battery and charger
I don't at all, Samebike sells a lot of ebikes. I would worry more about DIY ebikes and the big cheap battery packs people buy
