- Southern Culture on the Skids plays 8 Piece Box with a little help from the audience at the Big Apple Barbecue and Block Party June 9, 2012 in NYC's Madison Square Park. The fried chicken fight was a dandy.
I think it's actually impossible to NOT have a great, fun time at a SCOTS show. Simple, uncluttered, raw, fun, funny, rockin', clever good-time! Anyone else remember the vacuum cleaner?
As much hysterical fun the video clips are, they can't compare to how much fun it is to be a part of a SCOTS experience.

I'm a jazz musician, and rocker as well. But I was in a country band back in the early 80s, playing festivals...and it was the greatest time of life.

Fun video. Just one small bit of advice.....if you want audience members to do the "Funky Chicken" dance, pick people who actually remember it. :)
