Yeah, it looks like it was so worth the two hour drive. I tried to order tickets this year, but it was sold out before I got to it. I had tickets for the 9/17/21 show, but I missed it and arrived a day late. 😞 I have seen them perform before. Once in Manhattan at Madison Square Park. They were great there. I also drove all the way to Indiana PA to see them perform at an outdoor folk festival. That drive was well worth it too. Can't wait to see them perform live again!
I got to see them many years ago when we both played CBGB'S one night. we were usually the best band at these showcase events but these guys were much better. didn't know if they were around until I saw a tv commercial where they were playing inside someones head and I instantly recognized them. glad to see there still together. talented and funny with their own sound. skunk got under my house!
In that genre, no more Rush, we still have Clutch from Maryland. Now they are or were a power trio, haven't heard any new stuff from them. After Transnational Highway, that was it for me. Same as ZZ Top, Deguelo was my last before they got to mainstream. So miss SRV Skynyrd and yes if you like this band, you must love the Cramps and many other notables that are gone and others that aren't well known... Salute and thank you, so need to see a show at Darryl's house, just over an hour from me...
Just wondering, just discovered this band tonight, April 3rd 2024. How long have they been around the scene, how did I miss this. So love the Cramps and this style. Love that guitar, bubble gum and duct tape works for me in a pinch. So glad its still playing, who else has a beat up guitar that he modifies all the time, some blues guy, unbelievable...Thanks for this slice of pecan pie, or sweet potato if you prefer. My equalizer helped out a bit on this...
Yea , the recording stinks . it was with my phone and I didn't pay attention to how it was recording the audio . Rick Miller(Singer , guitar ) actually started the band in 1983 ...... The current line up and one that pretty much put the band on the map got together in 1987 and has been since then . Very unrated band in my opinion most likey due to their humor in lyric writing but the music is great , love his guitar riffs and licks . This recording doesn't do them that much justice but they are great live . I would def. go see them if they are ever playing near you . It's alot of fun .
@@Iancale I so will, thanks for the reply back. I hear ya on underdogs, I see so many free shows in my area and on a donation thing. Most clubs or bars don't pay shit but dinner and some drinks. Most singers now don't drink for voice, I bring them all magic brownies with my marijuana oils, plus other snacks like fruits and such. They so appreciate something nice between acts or hang out afterwards with them... Look up Workshop 13 in my town, and the Wales Irish Pub, or Grenville Park in Ware Massachusetts, some nice times and great local community. Always support local and other upcoming bands... Check out Don O'Dell's legends show in Palmer, he has many up and comers there a few miles from me. So trying to get Ally Venable to come grace us...
@@Iancale Wanna check out a great venue, free as well, the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut, the Wolfs Den is a round setup, and the place cranks... Don't forget to go to the Broken Arrow for wings and drinks. Tell Heidi Yvonne and Yvette Todd said Hi, also Rachel from Pepe's Pizza next door...
I'd love to see them live. They were around when I was younger and I somehow didn't really get it or pay close attention to them. My loss. I recently listened again and became a huge fan.
I've been a fan since the 90's . Always liked his guitar playing which he's never really gotten credit for IMO , probably due to the songs not being taken seriously ... This was the first time I finally got see them . Great show .
@@Iancale 1st time I saw them in the 90s Rick Miller had his shirt off rubbing friend chicken on his body and throwing it into the crowd and the women were going wild.
I was you guys two times, back in 1976 when you guys opened for Paul McCartney and Wings. wow what a great show that was, then in 1978. you guys opened for Jethro Tull. in New York. Madison Square Garden, wow when Frank Zappa walked on stage with you. Martin Barre and. Jerry Garcia. that was the BOMB. !!!1

Worlds coolest band writing music worth listening to, dancing to and singing to. Thanks SCOTS!
Another great show!!!

Its my cell phone ,bass was clipping the audio I had the settings wrong . They sounded great in the room .
