So, six years ago I came home mad and feeling unfulfilled in my job. My wife, being the amazing person she is, said we needed a change. Long story short, we packed up everything, i lived in our vintage camper for a year, changed careers and moved 500 miles away. Now, here we are, both active members in this community and in our church. When God calls on us we go. It's His plan, not ours. In my career I find myself needing him more than ever but I keep my faith in His plan and trust He will provide.

😭😭😭 aw love you guys. This is what I feel the Lord is telling us to do. I've been researching this for over a year now. I've even got our youtube name made 😊. But God keeps putting this on pause for use and I keep seeing him say..no your not ready ...be patient. He works on our patience a lot lol. My husband quit his job a few months ago and starting a contracting position which I can see is God's way of getting us prepared for this. Before we didn't have a lot of experience fixing electronics or plumbing, etc...and he was never taught this stuff growing up. We have two kiddos and I've always homeschooled! Following the Classical Conversations curriculum these past 4 years...and then I learned about roadschooling! Then I started looking up full time families. We are often relying on God to take care of our needs and he ALWAYS comes through and provides exactly what we need exactly when we need it. It is AMAZING what happens when you put your full faith in God and let him run the show. He makes the plans...we just follow him! I'll continue to be patient and I know he has plans for us to do it. I feel it keep in my soul. If your still on the road then I hope we run into you! We live in WV! If your ever here please message us! We will show you around! We've both been writing since then. I self-published a children's book, and my husband is writing a series for older kids. Now, we feel God calling us to sell our house and live in a fifth wheel! Woohoo! Don't know what the future holds, but it sure is thrilling to be walking in God's will. Excited to be following you!
Dan, I love your guns and guitars channel and just checked out this video. I am finishing up a fast today in literally just a few minutes asking God to heal a broken friendship. When I first started I felt like God was saying just push through one more time. As a way to distract my mind to get through the last few hours I decided to look up how to make a wooden pick guard for a guitar I built out of 50 year old Canadian walnut another friend gave me (who praying for on this fast), and your pick guard video popped up. I saw the link to “why I’m living in an RV,” and thought I’ll watch the first video. All I can say is as I come to the end of this fast God directed me to this video and it really encouraged me. Thank you and your wife for this video, and if you are ever in North Carolina pop on over to Winston Salem and we can jam!

I sold the farm and spent a xmas in a motel with the wife and our dog not knowing where we were going ,didnt even make the liquor store, enjoyed this video ,and no rv either
Thanks Felix! The truth is, having a “nice life” has nothing to do with faith. It’s about finding joy and contentment knowing that you’re living out the life that grows you closer to the Lord. Often times, there’s nothing “nice” about it. We just ultimately want to love God and love others the way Jesus teaches us to, and if it takes selling everything and hitting the road to learn to do it better, so be it!

Guys I live 9 months out of the year in a camper. With my 2 dogs and my mother. It is a great life! If you guys make it to PA stop by my campground. It’s called L&M Campground. It borders state game lands and Yellow Creek State Park. Would love to have you all here :)

Dang we just spent a week in Sanger! 🤦🏻♀️ what church? We just looked one up and attended.
@@RockinandRollin oh wow, just missed us. Sanger is super close. We attend Valley Friends Church in Clovis, which is like 20-30 mins from Sanger.

Yeah I know the feeling I thought I was the only Christian on UA-cam too praise God you guys this is so weird I was looking for an RV to purchase and I run across your Channel and I'm thinking of doing the same exact thing that you're doing right now except my child is 35 and I'm not married Austin is not married either getting ready to get an RV and go and see friends and family around the country and the things that we always wanted to see and do my son is a train rail fan want to go see Scenic railroad's and railroads everywhere and maybe create a rail fan UA-cam channel Austin knows several that he follows would love to do the same also seriously thinking about this so isn't that weird God's been leading me in this direction also good luck God bless your family God bless you on your journey I really enjoyed hearing your story

Guys I live 9 months out of the year in a camper. With my 2 dogs and my mother. It is a great life! If you guys make it to PA stop by my campground. It’s called L&M Campground. It borders state game lands and Yellow Creek State Park. Would love to have you all here :)
