    i know i'm late to this video but wanted people to know is that the inner door does pop right out. after removing the two screws that hold it shut, open it slightly and pull towards the back of the case and it will just pop off the hinges, reverse to re install. makes ones build in the case much easier

    A couple of AX fans on the front would have been better than the inverted RX, but I have to say this case is fantastic and on my radar for an upgrade to my current Be Quiet 801.

    I've built in this case a few times and they make reverse fans if you want to hide the fan bracing on those front fans. My only issue I am having on my 3rd build with this case is the preprogrammed rgb settings with the button does not stay set and reverts back to the default bluish white every time it hibernates or powers off. Working with Montech now about this issue, but still one of my favorite cases to build in and customers seem to really like it.

      Mine did not have that problem. But I did not like the options, so I went for SignalRGB ( Free version) If you hold the button for the RGB a few sec, then it will be free of the pre settings and SignalRGB can take it from there.

    • @garyc5245
      @garyc5245 21 день тому +1

      @@JanFarang Yep, I've used Signal before to solve the same problems. I could have had a bad controller and it is not uncommon; I have two new/warranty controllers coming from Phanteks for two NV7 builds i am doing (12 fans...most I've installed on a case); so it is taxing the amps/watts/LED #s on the controller.
      Also if there is enough argb headers you can just plug everything into the mobo and use the manufacturers software (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI). Also Razer Chroma is aweseome, however if you have too many fans for the controller you cannot sync up multiple controls (that I know of); but the day they figure that out, it will be my first choice as a builder. And the fact they are still using molex seems outdated.

    • @JanFarang
      @JanFarang 18 днів тому

      @@garyc5245 I have a asus mobo, and went with that software ( forgot the name) that they have for controlling the RGB and so on. I and many others hated it, very heavy, and a lot of crap. When you google it, only complains and not without reason. Asus makes fine mobo's but that software is terrible. SignalRGB will take some time to config, and you have to look out for conflicting software like Icue... It does it all, mouse, keyboard, pc... love it, even the free version. The king 95 is a great case, but the RGB right out of the box, is not enough, it needs something to controle it and finetune it.

    I moved my PC to this case last week but got the non Pro case because the Montech fans are subpar. I ended using Teucer Prism 120mm reverse blade (Lian Li clone) fans that were 6 for $45 on Aliexpress, these are way quieter than Montech ones and go up to 2000 rpm.

    I’m looking to build my first computer in the King 95 case and I’ve been wondering, can you/should you connect the radiator fans from the AIO to the montech RGB hub that’s pre installed in the top of the case? That way all the fans in the case including the AIO are hooked to the hub. And if so, would you connect power the power and the RGB lines to the hub (or would you connect power to the motherboard)?

    • @JanFarang
      @JanFarang 22 дні тому

      Aio goes to the pins on the mobo, for the aoi pomp. RGB can go to the hub with the rest.

  • @ReiwaMagi
    @ReiwaMagi Місяць тому

    The reason why its sticking out is because the board is an E-ATX board and the Montech King 95 technically does not support them. I checked before I bought my board.

    I'm getting this case sometime in 2024. But i will be keeping the fans at default with the glas, and just add 3 more Montech ax120 for my 360mm aio for a top mount exhaust! although if you really would, Montech did make the case, such that you can still mount fans on the side, veil you have the adjustable side mount bracket on the front! BUT it seems they forgot, that this will total add up to 11 fans, IF you go all out😅🤔 so instead of giving us a 11 slot fan controller, they made it in such way, that you have to sacrifice some one way oth the other, like going with only 2 140mm fans at the bottom ect.😆🙃

    So, in cable management, you made no mention of the front panel connector (power button, specifically). My King 95 Pro, delivered 01/15/2025, came with a non-standard plug marked fr. panel. No adapter pigtail as referenced in the manual (if it can be called a "manual". Consequently , no means to connect the power button to the motherboard. Aside from this goof, a pretty nice PC case, albeit unusable. Hard to believe.

    Glass front with AIO. After having to adjust the fan on the CPU cooler so it wasn't even I'm surprised you didn't go that direction. If it was a budget build I would get shifting the fan and not worrying what it looks like, but you put in a 4090 for goodness sake. Build looks sloppy unintentionally. The stock fans from the case aren’t the best… but they are still coming with the case, so to those who are looking for value and have no fans already, buy the pro version. Just know your temps probably won’t be the best they can be. This is because the reverse blades don’t spin the fastest. But they aren’t terrible.

    • @Henrique-wv9xq
      @Henrique-wv9xq 11 місяців тому +2

      in my experience, investing in more expensive fans for the case always results in diminishing returns. I might be doing something wrong, but when I switched my cheap off brand fans for a full proper set on my current case, the gains were like, around 2 degrees, which made me get serious buyers remorse. The only real pro of more expensive fans is the silence, and in the case of the montech fans, that doesn't even seem to be an issue, so I don't get why people would feel the need to get something else if they don't just have money to burn.

    • @John_the_baptized
      @John_the_baptized 9 місяців тому

      @@Henrique-wv9xq I 100% agree, but say you have fans from a previous build for some reason (for myself, my case and PSU died in an accident while I was moving, but saved everything else) you might want to transfer over the better looking fans into this case. But also note I said “best” which is objective, so I guess I could have chosen better words to convey “if you are a PC enthusiast, know these fans will not give you the best performance, but if you’re an every day Joe like myself, but have no fans, the pro version is amazing.”
