It's missing a vertical GPU mount which is standard for this kind of case. It looks nice, props for Montech for putting itself in case categories that they don't have in their line-up.
I got one and I did a transfer of the guts from my Thermal Take H120, replaced the 120mm fans with 140mm added two 140mm fans in the top. The temps are low to mid 30c Intel i5 12400, rtx3060. Very happy, I did this to get the dual chamber.
I moved my primary Windows PC to the Black version of the King 95 pro a couple of weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. I added a 360mm AIO to it and my 5800x3D and 7900XT run very cool. I think the extra 3 fans and radiator help a lot with cooling . Cpu and Gpu temps are 65-70 C on heavens benchmark. You will need a RPG splitter cable to light 3 more fans. The controller only has enough headers for the RGB on 2 more fans but enough to power 3 more. Thanks for the video
I really hope in the future that Montech allows for the dust filter at the bottom to be removeable from the side or front of the case instead of the back, considering that the dust filter is full length anyways. Given the type of case it is, it'll be placed on the desk anyways, so the easier the maintenance the better. Lian Li's O11 cases, NZXT H9, and Phanteks's NV series of cases do this so why can't Montech, you know?
I think it might have to do with that this is their first run with this style of cases and many have been loving the changes that they have made on the O11 style design,
it looks fantastic, I just put together a new build. Had I known about this case, I think I would have gotten this one. Dual chambers are everywhere but for everything you get with this one, It seems pretty good value as well. I didn't know of this case until now and I Just built my current build.
Those temps on the GPU is a no-go for me, sadly I'd honestly suggest to buy the no fan version and just add them on your own, some quality fans, you can go with some P12/P14 and be good to go Though I'm also guessing you didn't test with a radiator on top, that might help a lot, cause stock configuration only has 1 exhaust, too much hot air clogged inside
Just transferred my build into this today and it's honestly an amazing case for the price. Everything is solid and and feels premium nothing thin and flimsy. I got the pro version and works well with my liquid freezer ii 280mm
@@slightburn_ on top in the very middle dropped cpu temps 10c in this case and a few off my GPU as well With it being the liquid freezer it is tight definitely couldn't fit anything thicker than that.
If you want a dual-chamber case that is REALLY affordable and interesting is the DIYPC ARGB Q3 Green (personally I LOVE the green and after working with this case it's surprisingly nice for the very cheap pricepoint that it is). Could be fun to see your thoughts, especially since for a lot of people they just want the look and don't really care about materials that they realistically aren't going to touch after they build it :)
@@trsskater it is on the cheaper side but it's not as bad as you think. It still has tempered glass and fits ATX power supplies. Personally I'm not always touching and feeling the computer I don't really care. Considering just how much cheaper and smaller it is I would say it's an absolute win.
@@xPLAYnOfficial What I mean is it is the lower quality version of the case. No removable trays for the fans on the top. It's not a tooless glass removal, no rubber gramets, the included fans are not good, the rear PCIe brackets seem to be the punch out type that you can't put back, the 120 fans on the side are placed weird since it's tall enough for 2x 140 but they are trying to space better to not look so small, and in general a low quality fit and finish. I feel like you are making a lot of compromises that makes that price appropriate to me. So it's like it's nice that they make a case for someone who wants that look on a budget at half the price of the king 95, especially since the king 95 pro fans aren't very good, you can get the non pro and get better fans. The king 95 is a pretty bomb deal compared to the competition already I don't think it would be worth it to go for the other DIYPC case.
@@trsskater Another consideration is size. Pretty much all of the dual chamber cases that are going for this O11 Dynamic type aesthetic are very big. This case is matx and is a lot smaller and thus way easier to fit on a normal desk. Yes there are definitely compromises for sure but as you pointed out as well this case is a lot cheaper. Personally I have a rig setup with this case and Lian Li SL120 fans and in my opinion it looks pretty darn gorgeous. I also especially love the color choices like the teal and pink. Just adds more variety and spice of life.
@@xPLAYnOfficial IMO the king 95 should have been in teal rather than persion blue. It is a much nicer color. But I'm sure some people would like the darker blue as well.
I got one and I absolutely love it! It's the best case that I have ever had, I previously had that Lian Li O11 by DerBauer but when I saw the King 95 Pro in Red I had to switch to it since I have it paired with a PowerColor Red Devil 7800xt which bleeds red. I highly recommend it and it was the easiest cases to build in! if you want a unique case that looks amazing then definitely give it a high look!
So, i may be wrong here because ive only worked with glass a few times, but i do think the story would have been different if you hadnt used the mousepads, why? Because glass wants to get rid of all that energy and stress and the mousepads dampen the transfer so its not able to, how do i know this? Well, i have had to make custom glass pieces a few times and the first couple i would put a carpet or something under or around the glass, and that would make it explode when bending or cutting, once i figured that out i never broke another sheet of glass lol. Then again, glass is scary so no one can blame you for trying it this way lol.
not true at all. glass is hard, tempered glass is even harder. hard means no flex, no moving energy. it absorbs all it can, until it cant, then it breaks. without the pad it only wouldve broken faster because padding softens the blow, spreads the force out better than asphalt
To be honest, I put the pads as a precaution for my tires lol Looking at the video on Montech's website, you can clearly see they are riding on standard asphalt, which would introduce micro chipping points for the glass and I even thought having something softer under the glass would prevent it scraping on my driveway. But anyway, hope they remove that part from their marketing. -D.
Montech please make a XL version. 3 cms intake on the bottom (feet). Support for 140mm rear, 3-140mm and 420mm radiator top and bottom, E-ATX motherboard support, push pull support for a 280mm AIO on the side. Also make it 4 cms taller to accommodate easily 30mm fans and a ticker radiator fan configuration
PRO has 6 fans (1x 120 regular, 3x 120 reversed, 2x 140 reversed and a fan hub for ARGB and power). The non-pro doesn't have the fans or the hub, but still has the integrated soft light strip at the front. -D.
This case has an amazing value, alas the bottom dust filter can only be removed from the back. I've experienced this with my case and it's such an annoying thing. It really made me lazy in cleaning the case and i probably don't want it to happen in a showcase product like this.
having the option for two power supplies is neat but i dont know how youd be able to use both of them, even if you dedicate it to a gpu it still needs a start signal from the motherboard
Especially on the non-pro, it's better to remove that hdd compartment and mount a single psu in the upper position. That gives you a space with a large flat plate in the lower position to mount fan and aRGB splitters.

These colored cases are so ugly imo. Either white or black. Also, the curved glas looks weird because it looks awkward how you see where the curve of the glass just ends. It should have been one whole single curved glass going all the way to the end, it would look much cleaner
