    This case with LL120mm fans from Corsair keep everything insanely cool.
    my 4090 sits around 37-39c idle
    While gaming it sits around 45-47c.
    There’s honestly nothing to dislike about this case.
    Pros - mesh front, mesh back panel, can add multiple fans, crazy air flow, case has good build quality, can pretty much put in any gpu since you get 420mm of clearance, easy cable managing, you get the chance to put your psu in the back instead of having it sit under a shroud while being under your gpu. You can vertical mount
    Cons - literally 0 cons lol

      How are you controlling the RGB? With Node Pro and software?

    • @silfrido1768
      @silfrido1768 4 місяці тому +1

      @@supertrexandroidx for starters, the node pro is strictly for Corsair. which means to control rgb you need the software.
      But personally I turned my rgb off on all my peripherals since it affects mouse & keyboard polling rate smoothness.
      for controlling fan speeds, I have the fans connected to the Nzxt usb / rgb hub.
      The hub has 6 pwm channels that can house 3 fans per channel.
      it can not be more then 3 per channel on the usb / rgb hub since each channel has a saturation limit.
      Nzxt can use any fans Aslong as they are pwn fans.
      The term pwm = 4 pin connecter.
      none pwm = 3 pin connecter.
      Why is the term pwm & none pwm important ? because it indicates if you can manually tune the speed of the fan.
      the beauty of using Nzxt cam is that it has censors which can either be set for your cpu & gpu.
      personally I recommend using cpu for each fan sensor except the water pump. Reason being is because the water doesn’t need to be at full speed
      especially if you have quality thermal paste.
      because depending on how cold the coolant is within the aio cooler, it will drastically improve case temp, cpu & gpu temp.

      @@silfrido1768 Heh, thanks for the in depth reply. I was looking at the fans you specifically mentioned and found a package being sold that includes three of the fans and a Corsair controller and hub, which is what I might go with if I choose that route. I would prefer to be able to control the RGB on the case, though, so I don't know. Maybe there's an adapter of some kind that could allow that to work with another controller. Honestly, all the RGB stuff is not my cup of tea (main personal computer is in a Fractal Meshify 2 XL, no RGB), so I've never had cause to look in to this kind of thing before, but this would be a build for a 14 year old, and he's not a die-hard competitive player, so I'm not too concerned by a small impact on the polling - at that age, today, the kids usually prioritize the bling, ha ha. Also, because I don't want to be in charge of maintaining too much, I'll be sticking to air cooling, which is the main reason I'm considering better fans, on top of a good heatsink.

      Case looks great but being u have a 4090 do u use a sag bracket if so how and where with the fans on the bottom

    • @silfrido1768
      @silfrido1768 2 місяці тому

      @@CkCountry I had to get a cooler master vertical mount so that the gpu cable doesn’t get fried.
      all is well tho, I’ve had 0 issues with the case or my card.
      in terms of fans I have 10 fans in total within the case.
      2 on the top, 3 on the bottom, 2 in the front, 2 in the back & 1 in the rear.
      i recommend switching out the fans to static pressure fans. air flow will be much better if you get better fans. the only downside is that it will cost you but it is worth it. I’ve had these fans for 2-3 years going strong now & I keep them clean.

    Your review are spot on and I have purchased a Montech King 95 Pro after watching this and several other reviews. Every reviewer loves the case for the money and no one had any additional issues whatsoever beyond the nitpicks ones you mentioned. The 1st rig I build 7 years ago was also a Montech, the Flyer; smaller, a little harder to cable manage and a bit of a hot box due to restricted alrflow, also the side panel was acrylic, not TG. Something relatively irritating about the case top panel, it’s secured pretty flimsy. It just snaps in loosely. And if you don’t use the included screws from the case, it does not sit flush with the arctic freezer III! Now I have to undo all the screws and put in the other ones, without the flat washers (can you even do that with the freezer? Don’t even wanna do it now) I’m also used to having cases have some sort of a screw securing the top of the case….. it’s odd it’s a cheap, plastic snap in that does not even work in my case. Sigh. Additionally that rubber inside the case where your cords go from the back to the motherboard in the front kept popping off on me. Almost ready to just leave it all off xD slightest of touch or cord poking it? Pops off.
    And the left glass panel also came scratched already. :L … despite these problems it is a good value for all the fans you get. Lian li I would’ve ended up spending a fortune for the 011D + fans + hub. And the montech’s controller came in handy as I needed the only 3 pin rgb header for the 7900XTX sapphire I used. Without the controller I’d have to leave a fan or the 7900’s rgb unhooked.
    Having all the cords, fans already pretty much managed is very nice. I wouldn’t buy it for a friends build though

    I love this case. I used it for my build.
    My only issue is that there’s a tiny space where the glass curves. Inbetween the front and side glass
    I don’t know if that’s an airflow decision but I’d rather there be no space at all.
    I don’t want tiny insects or dust getting in through there

    • @stephenhood2948
      @stephenhood2948 4 місяці тому

      Mine has no space what so ever. Obviously its a different piece of glass, so there is a visible line where the two panels meet, but nothing dust/bugs are going to get through. The curved part of the glass does distort the view through it, but I'm not sure it would be possible to keep the same viewing aspect through curved glass. I am very happy with mine. This was the first complex PC I've built and it was a breeze in this case.

    Remove that unnecessary HDD compartment and mount the psu in the upper space. It gives you even more empty space for neat cable management. That's especially useful for the non-pro version because it gives you a big flat rear plate to mount your own aRGB and fan splitters. You can manage your heavy cables to the left side and your fan and aRGB cables at the bottom.
    Also, that hinged rear cover can be easily removed during the build by just grabbing it at the upper right corner and yanking to the right, pulling the upper hinge out. You can easily replace it when you're done (reverse the procedure to snap it back in). But I couldn't think of a reason to replace it.
    Also, with the non-pro version you're provided an adapter cable that breaks out the front panel leads. It also separates the leads from that small button so that you can plug it onto the motherboard Reset pins and make that small button a Reset button.

    I don't like default vs default fan config. You're comparing 4 fans vs 1 or 2 in most examples. But anyways, glad you mentioned the minimum fan speed being 700rpm. Thats a deal breaker for me. There is no reason to have fans at 700rpm on the desktop /browsing, that's a huge oversight.

    • @TechHunterOfficial
      @TechHunterOfficial  Місяць тому

      @@insertnamehere4419 I'd personally say default vs default is the fairest way I could think of. I think if you test using the same fans in every system is another good option, as you can see the true difference between each case. But perhaps unrealistic and you're ignoring the fans that might come included etc. It's a tricky one, but that's why other reviewers exist ☺

      I built an all white build in this case. It looks amazing, but choosing all white parts really limited the value/ selection of parts. I went with the MSI Z790 Pro Max WIFI motherboard. It does have a black PCB, but silver heatsinks. The black contrast looks really nice with the all white case/components though. The all white motherboards really ran the price up, NZXT has an amazing looking white motherboard, but it was over $300. I tired to keep the whole build to around $1500, and a $300 motherboard just wasn't in the cards.

    The mesh panel is for cpu air cooling, of course it doesn't do much for an aio setup. Would have been interesting to see temps in that configuration. I assume similar or better gains than the GPU.
