As the interlocking pattern compresses the hair in a way that increases shrinkage. (Imagine measuring your hair whilst it loose vs. in a plait) Hope this helps. Can’t wait to see your next update. Your locs are beautiful! I’m always here for the monthly updates. Ordinarily your hair should grow 1/2 inch per month. I’m not saying the oil isn’t working, just wanted to make you aware.

Is I hard retighten your own hair. For ppl who has never done it before
It's not hard, it's more so tedious. Make sure to not stress and give yourself plenty of time.
