I’ve gotten to camp sites where trash was left but never to that extent. It’s always annoying and sad to find. This is just way overboard. Looks like they purposefully trashed the place. We car camp so usually we can take all the trash out with us we find but there would be no chances taken with syringes or things of that nature. Would be nice to catch the idiots doing that.

The amount of garbage left by previous inhabitants of that site is one of the top reasons I prefer to camp in the winter. It tends to eliminate the outdoor party type of camper.

First time I went hunting with my dad when I was ~7 or 8 we didn't even bring a rifle. We just went out with out lunch, some hot chocolate and made sure the woods we were hunting in looked good. Did some cleaning, watched some animals and had lunch. "If you take care of the forest, the forest will take care of you" is something I still live by. Who wouldn't want to take care of some of the most peaceful/beautiful places on earth :)
Also, never heard a Canadian pronounce bagel before, amazing haha! Amazing video per usual!

Another excellent vid, thanks again! Absolutely heartbreaking to see all that damage and dangerous pollution. They're trying to clampdown on roaming laws here in England and this kind of thing increasing is only speeding up the process. Very sad indeed, I fear permission land may be the only way to do before long, so I'm trying my best to acquire some, not an easy task

I'm so very sorry for the conditions you encountered. Thank you so very much for taking the time and energies try and clean it for those following behind you. . I'm sorry it dampened your experience as it would have anyone who came next. But, if anyone found it, I'm almost glad it was you....perhaps and you shared it with your viewers. I truly believe that part was ment to be. Again I'm so sorry the land was misused and left as it was. Thank you friend for helping our earth. As you put a bandaid on your hand I was thinking you just put a bandaid on the land too.

Not trying to toot my own horn, but I have started taking extra trash bags with me on my back country trips (into the wilderness even) to clean up other peoples garbage I find. It is unbelievable. If you pack it in, you can pack it out. Thanks for doing your part AND theirs, Jeremy. Cheers brother.

Sadly Ive dirt biked my entire life in the rockies and slowly seen the areas we are allowed to camp get smaller and smaller and smaller. Calgary being 40 minutes away from prime free camping and dirt biking you get so many young punks that go out and just trash it....last May long we took 4 dump trucks and more worth of garbage and trash out :( I go a lot further and deeper to get quiet and peace now...dirt biking days behind me now just want to enjoy nature. The fish and wildlife are getting smarter and at least come around on the Friday of long weekends and make note of vehicle license plates in certain areas and if its left a mess they get sent bills (from what I've heard) so thats nice to hear.

Here in the UK there is a very active 'Wild Camping' community, however there were a few 'Bad Apples' that left their rubbish and litter behind them too, and they were beginning to get the pastime a really bad reputation until someone coined the phrase -
Leave no trace, except for your footprints
Use only what you need to, cherish and respect your surroundings
Keep and treasure your memories forever.

It is unfortunate that some ashholes in our great country are not capable of respecting our great wilderness. I am just flabbergasted that someone would cut green wood for fire wood. I have my chain saw and always look for dead standing trees. Finding a sharpie on the ground....well I absolutely have ZERO respect for drug addicts. Leaving a jug of motor oil by the lake...like what the hell is wrong with people. Jeremy, you are an inspiration for being the good steward of our wilderness. That mess is unexceptable. This is how some people are. It is actions like this that is a risk for fire. There has been places that I chose to camp because of a mess and I clean the mess up and when I leave it is a showcase. It is fact that things like this is what people remember not the good, that needle is a needle that diabetics use but can be used to inject other chemicals. You have run into a drug nest. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with cutting down live trees. But if the person was higher then a kite and manger to get dead wood to start a fire, the damage could've been worse then what it was.

Really annoys me when idiots do that kind of crap, and then they wonder why get upset when access is revoked from those great areas.

Hey man, been watching you since last year. Love your vids. I'm about to buy my first Pomoly hot tent and Pomoly stove based on all your good videos. Quick question. Was this the Hussar 1-2 person you used? Also, would a Hussar Plus (2-4 person) be large enough for me, my wife, and dog with a stove? We're in the PNW and looking to camp in the snow and rain this season. Thanks!

Awsome, yes this is the hussar 2 person, and yes a hussar plus would be big enough for all of you with stove

I got mad watching this. Its bad enough that people will treat town streets that way, but our forests? I have zero tolerance for stupidity. That being said I enjoyed the video and loved your new pack. When I was in the market for a new pack, I was looking at an alps.

Man that was depressing to see. I’ve been up the woods today with the dogs, locally, and also saw a ton of crap. I’m gonna go back up and pick that shit up.

Is there room for two people and two pads inside the screen area?

      I was wondering the same...
It says '1p with wood stove' on the website, so probably not!

Do you cover up the gap’s between the 10th and the ground in the winter time so No Caller gets underneath there?
