I wanted to add a comment on how happy I was you posted! What a lovely way to spend an afternoon, with a cup of coffee, listening about pottery and planning for the year ahead!
Awww. That will be fun to go to London. I am also going, in June! I am looking forward to your experiences. Good for you to try to throw that much. Wishing you well with your goal!
It's that handle that takes too much time! In general I am a fast thrower. I have some different timed pottery challenges I did this summer if you want to watch me throw with a timer. I would say for a larger cup maybe 90 seconds. ua-cam.com/video/7BbSSoNT8l4/v-deo.html
Since I drink tea all day every day, I am so surprised it never occurred to me before that London would be an excellent place for me to visit. Do you have a favorite spot you go for tea when you're out and about?
That’s amazing your coming over to the Uk in February Sarah. Are you just visiting London or travelling a bit? Have you looked at the Ritz for afternoon tea in London.
@@Willowpony I have looked at the ritz it's a maybe. I saw on youtube that The Georgian in Harrods got a remodel and the tea looked pretty delicious there. And I think it's Fortnum and Mason that has the Mad Hater tea, I am not even sure if they still do it. It's hard to pick one!
If you want someone to join you for tea, let me know! 😄 I love high tea and have done a few places in London, so can at least suggest a few. Good luck with 100/day!
I definitely would if I wasn't bringing along my family. I have hope that the other two little potters will love high tea, even if they don't make much pottery these days.
@ there’s enough variety usually to please everyone. Hot tip - you can order more sandwiches if you want and they are usually free! It does mean you’ll be extra stuffed by the end, but sometimes worth it! 😆

Thank you for watching! I hope your own pottery goals will go well this year!
I love how you combined goals with a tangible reward.
Thanks! There's no way I can make that much pottery without a big reward!
London , fabulous… best country for high tea 🫖, Good luck on your goal😊
I can't wait! I've been studying reviews and menus, still deciding on which high tea I will pick out!

Oh that's so cool that you're going too! I love traveling!
@threelittlepotters It's neat to see other places. Plan to do the outskirts too, Cotswolds, Bathe yadda yadda!
Good luck keep us posted lol
I think I'll do a combo video for some of these middle days... if I survive it. Trimming a 100 pieces is bad enough, lol.
Good luck Sarah. Can you tell me how long does it take to throw a cup like the one that you have in your hand. Excluding the handle.

My daughter lives in London and I live on the south coast close to London, you will have to drop in for high tea with me 😊

@ My daughter suggest The Orangery at Kensington Palace, she has had high tea there and loved it 😊
