@@SnakeWasRightIt's called having fun.
I paid more than that for the tasting menu at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie when I lived in Scotland 12 years ago. Literally Scotland's longest-standing Michelin Star and the highest ranked restaurant in all of the UK. Truly amazing meal with wine pairing to boot for the low price of $550 ish.
The title of this short made me think of something COMPLETELY different. When I think of the "#1 Restaurant in the World" I think of which one has the most locations, which is Subway.
That's only €11 per course! That's WAY more reasonable than I thought it would be.
Edit: Yes I know the courses are tiny. These places aren't meant for stuffing your face. I was just saying that it seems reasonable when "fine dining" places are like $800+ per person.
i mean they v tiny courses but yeah not bad for a cool experience

That’s an incredibly reasonable price. This place must be absolutely booked.
I was surprised at that price. I’ve been to places that didn’t excite me this much that cost way more. I have to try and get a seat if I’m ever in Barcelona
I just checked their website and every available day is booked for the next year only because they don't reserve more than 365 days ahead of time 😅

More like $10k
And you’d have to step over homeless people to get inside…and the restaurant would claim it’s part of the experience
Usually not a fan of high end restaurants that seem to just rip you off but this place actually seems like a place worth your money.
Lmfao. Any place like this is a rip off. The gold food is kind of a dead give away its just over complicated bullshit and you leave still hungry.
You can literally make the same courses for 100 bucks at home with the same portions, the only thing you can’t do is have a fully staffed kitchen, especially necessary to have a finisher and expediter. Food should speak for itself, it shouldn’t need a whole presentation. If your thing is to play with your food, then by all means this place is awesome, but if you want a good dining experience you should hit the hole in the wall places around town.
How is this whit worth any money? Is your life really that boring? Go fish. Go play with some dirt. Geez.

i agree - there are definitely plenty of restaurants that charge a lot more for a lot less! it's not for everyone, but definitely a cool experience for those who want it :)

1. Don’t go out anymore
2. Go out and find and pay babysitter
3. Take the children with them
Option 2 and 3 ended up being roughly the same price so they just decided to take us with them which I am sooo grateful for. I was exposed to a lot of good food from a young age but now I have expensive taste which is back firing 😂

I don't think you understand how things work. I'm not talking about food at some shitty fastfood place. They make money off drinks. 25 courses is a lot. It's generally a few bites at most, that's $10 a course. You've got multiple people there to tend to whatever you want, cost of basic overhead for a place to function, high quality products vs "wild" farmed whatever.
No way, this is the real deal. Chef on The Menu wished to be as creative as this is. I could feel how much hard work & love they put on the making of the dishes, and the price is very worth it. Don't put this to the likes of that Salt Bae restourant that charge ridiculous amount of money over a simple steak with a pinch of paper gold.

It's useless bullshit
It's because the price is reasonable. 25 courses for 300 bucks isn't too bad for something like this
It's because this isn't some prententious bs food, salt bae and the like, for example, this is an actual experience that is priced how it *should* be rather than being priced the way they want cuz they know people will pay.
Adults when talking to you as a kid: dont play with your food.
Adults going to a fancy resturant: Happy fun time.
When it comes to food that expensive its not just about the taste but the experience as well. Thus the price.
