its always baffling to me how Pendulum can so seamlessly fit into so many deck types and how MANY outdated archetypes and even current archetypes were prime to receive a small pendulum archetype support package of some kind but nope. Links monster go brrrr (eak the game)
I really don't understand why search cards like Secret Password and Stake Your Soul don't have the "This card is always treated as a ____ card" clause on them. There are so many cards where it would be fine to have that clause and I'm willing to bet wouldn't be a problem now or whenever the card was printed.
I prefer when the consistency card cant be searched by the deck, its supposed to boost consistency, not be part of the combo. This is why i despise the new lvl 8 centurion synchro
For Secret Password, it's because nothing in the archetype search spell/trap straighforwardly, except itself. For SYS, that's just Konami being fucked up
@absoul112 some archetypes you can clearly see that the the consistency card was not supposed to be part of the combo on release, kinda like centurion. Konami is kinda consistent when it comes to search cards that are supposed to be part of the combo and the others that arent, they just have a few cases when they just screw that over
Overbalancing. Konami just scared to make some decks to broken. Pretty sure they wanted this deck to be good without the need to ban cards of it directly. Making it some fan chase archetype
I hope they (live and Evil) go to other mechanics like XYZ, Synchro, Fusion, and Pendulum. With each of them being a special Collab/variation of each other with the synchro treating one of the twins as a tuner. And the fusion being a contact. The pendulum’s acting like them working in the background, making sure they’re stream stay steady. While setting up their next scheme.
I would love to see what you could come up with for vampires I’ve really been enjoying them recently (I do seem to enjoy all the zombie decks so that wasn’t a surprise) and they are definitely more competent that a deck built around normal Summing would have you believe but o think they could use just a bit extra to merge the 3/4 mechanic ideas they smooshed together
The idea for the M-Warrior archetype is so funny, especially considering the way you phrased it as “Another Type of Gay”. I just like the compare and contrast of the Live-Twins being Kinda Funny Gremlin “I SWEAR I don’t like her like that…right?” type Yuri and the M-Warrior’s “Fuck you Leather Man, I’ll show you who’s boss of this Gym” type Yaoi. It’s just a really funny disconnect.
The link 1 sends for cost. The new cards are cracked and frost is now a better starter than Lilla. Normal frost, make deal, send sweet, sweet summon, make requiem. And oh don’t look at me like I said something heinous, twins have always had light fiends they are actually using fiendsmith in a way that isn’t just generate two bodies into moon. You were already doing that if you could make evil twin kisikil
@@greenhillmario that and its not like decks will start playing ki-sikil just for the link 1 anyways, every deck can make moon so the link 1 only helps live twin, people dooming about this cause of fiendsmith need to understand it doesn't matter for everything else.

I have only seen them in replays in Spright and played them in Try Out Deck in Master Duel. In Duel Links though when they were popular most people used them for there Tribute and “Chaos” synergy. (i.e. 1 Random Black Luster Solder Envoy of the Beginning in the Deck in most cases.) The Skill “The Legend of the Heroes” which made to support World Chalice and Crusadia more or less just became the “Live Twin” Skill because it let put 4 Link Monsters in your Graveyard back into the Extra Deck in a game that only had 8 Extra Deck slots at the time. (currently 9) P.S. even I’m Duel Links no one ever considered playing the Main Deck Beat-Stick In a lot of case it very much a case of “Disrupt and K.O. them before I have to watch them do this Summon spam again.”

New main deck is fine. It is okay to have a "conditional" effect to seperated between good player and bad one. Modern cards something doing everything alone, too much. . Evil Twin Xyz? lore wise, never. We already have Time Thief for the Xyz part. Unless Konami make a collaboration like "Evil Twin Time Thief Lil-La Redoer collaboration" or something like that. . If they care with the lore, I can see M-Warrior being new fusion deck here. You can see the S-Force monsters, they have effect to counter the other criminal (I:P, Twin, Psy-frame, and Time Thief), but for now, we don't have Fusion Criminal yet.
I think that Live Twins as an archetype is really a product of its time, and also just a really bad deck as it is, even with the new support it got from Konami
