..."Here are a list of tools that you will need to complete this installation"...."a flat head and a Phillips screwdriver" proceeds to not use either 😂 good video. I just wanted to check out the headlights before I purchase the smoked amber halo LEDs
This video needs to be updated. I purchased these and installed just to find out you also have to remove and install motor and modules. So saying this is plug and play is false. I'm mechanically inclined and have a couple cars so the down time it took most likely didn't hurt as much as a person with just that vehicle to rely on. Not to mention the back and forth e-mails in between my job with the company I purchased from. They tell you take it to a qualified tech but every shop I went to didn't know nothing and BMW won't touch it. Good luck my fellow car enthusiasts.
So i just bought them but the low beams arnt working and i think its because the connector of the headlight isnt compatible because of the lack of sockets i see in it. What should i do?
Is there a video showing how to connect the 3 sets of wires on the bottom of the headlights? I just picked up a set for my dad and the halo lights don't turn on and the dash shows an adaptive headlight malfunction error.
I know I'm late, but this might help if you haven't figured it out Did your dad's car originally have the HID/OEM projector headlights? I think these headlights only work with the standard halogen-equipped cars (non-adaptive), that might be why
Hello anyone know that e90 and e91 headlight are same bcuz i have e91 bmw 318i and i buy it from e90 owner. And im going to install it to e91 im just asking if they are going to fit?
I have a e90 2008 model I need these beautiful lights does they come with bulbs or not ,how do i buy mine straight from Spyder, I think it will be a lil cheaper?
No you cannot upgrade the angel eyes, which requires opening up the housing and is not recommended. It may work but you would risk voiding the warranty. When they were installed there were no error codes.
So why buy them if you have to replace bulbs to see! Spider is shit I have a set on my Dodge. You can’t see shit. But you look cool when you hit a tree.
I have the hid version of these for my BMW e90. They are new and the left angel eye does not light up. I called the consumer service which was excellent. The tech told me about two wires on the bottom with Bullitt connectors which power the angel eye. Well I've been looking at it, does anyone know what I do to make the angel eye work?
Are they connected to anything? The bullet connectors should have a green (positive) wire and a black (ground) wire. The green one should connect to a green-blue/teal wire, it should have a bullet connector end on it too. The black (ground) should have a corresponding black (ground) with bullet connector on it as well to connect together. If you have further questions, please give us a call. Sorry for any inconvenience.
@@spyderauto So these are not plug and play since you need to still tap 2 additional wires? Or is the tapping only necessary if the vehicle is an HID model?
There are many replacement bulbs. You would have to take off a bulb to see what type of bulb it is. Once you have figured it out, you can find replacement bulbs from anywhere that sells automotive parts. Any Pepboys, autozone, walmart, napa, etc carries them. The halogen version of these lights should have H7 low beam bulbs.
Raymond Agostinello you can adjust the lights to point left right up down depending on where you want them to light up whats in front of you typically bmw lights shine low if you dont adjust them
factory is not suggest to change the headlight to HID or LED, but you can always change the light bulb you want as long as the bulb type & model fit on the headlight housing
I love how he just used the part where he took the Front bumper off, reversed the video and used it as Re-install the Front bumper.
dope vid simple instructions...but never understand why people use this aweful robotic gps voice though!
Thanks for your advice
Thanks for suggestion, We will use Human voice once we find a coworker with beautiful voice

Why don't you have a link to the site where you can purchase the headlights?
That's pretty stupid. You are just throwing money away by not selling to the public.
Pointless video if we cannot buy and install them as a member of the public. Look at what you could have and this is how you cannot install them .

Do you have this type of headlights but for a 1 series?? 120i to be precise

You should make a fan for your led headlights so you have better reviews if it’s possible
what is the sku number to the one in the video? i checked the website and there are multiple versions for the 2006 BMW E90
@spyderauto i have a 2006 halogen bulb model. will the rings and beams work? plug and play? or are these for the hid model e90’s.
Will this work on my 2008 328i?? I want clear LED headlights! The original light r bad!
Yeah I have the same model vehicle and it works
Do i have to reprogram my car? Does this bring any check engine light on?
I have a e90 2008 model I need these beautiful lights does they come with bulbs or not ,how do i buy mine straight from Spyder, I think it will be a lil cheaper?
Did they last long?
I have the basic halogen set up. Will I need to change ballast?
Halogens do not require ballasts, that's something on an HID light configuration. Since you have the halogen set-up these would work just fine.
What is the other wires ate the light buld for a the silver box thats attached????
What does the blue and black wire on the headlights connect to?
Any light come on when you put the new headlights?
How much is for the BMW 750li 2008?
Where does one aquire these head lights
Can you upgrade the angel eyes on these headlight and do they show error codes on the bmw dashboard?
No you cannot upgrade the angel eyes, which requires opening up the housing and is not recommended. It may work but you would risk voiding the warranty. When they were installed there were no error codes.
we have tested our light and didn't find any error code appear before production.
it will show an error code on the dashboard only if you use LEDs i believe.
Low beam light output is realy poor on these headlamps! U wont see nothing in night!
waterford Martin its not about useability, its about looks.
Alex Martinez lmaooo
Lights output really depends on the bulb you use.
Very little to do with headlight housing. It's all about the bulb man
So why buy them if you have to replace bulbs to see! Spider is shit I have a set on my Dodge. You can’t see shit. But you look cool when you hit a tree.
An does the round bulb in the middle light up.?
Do they fit a 2010 328i

On the video, at 02:37, you can see the colors of the wires mentioned above. They are zip-tied to get the loose wiring cleaner.

Where can I buy this? Link?
I have a 2006 330xi hid headligjts, ordered these headlights snd the left amgel eue is not working
The units work beatiful otherwise, any suggestions?
Please contact our tech line for support. Thanks.
My big bulb doesn’t come on
@spyderauto, i have these headlights but the bulbs blew out. What bulbs do you recommend and where can i get them?
There are many replacement bulbs. You would have to take off a bulb to see what type of bulb it is. Once you have figured it out, you can find replacement bulbs from anywhere that sells automotive parts. Any Pepboys, autozone, walmart, napa, etc carries them. How do you adjust these headlights for the BMW e90?
Terson Cerver ?
Raymond Agostinello you can adjust the lights to point left right up down depending on where you want them to light up whats in front of you typically bmw lights shine low if you dont adjust them
Your best bet is to pull up to a garage at night time, pop the hood. then adjust them till they are even. Loosening and tightening the top bolts.
Do u have this type of headlights for a Bmw 120i 2008? Thx!
Please google SKU: 5008985
can i change the high and low beam from halogen to led?
factory is not suggest to change the headlight to HID or LED, but you can always change the light bulb you want as long as the bulb type & model fit on the headlight housing
what are you trying to say is that i could change the bulb of low and high light bulb to HID or LED as long if fit to the headlight?
You can use LEDs, BUT its not recommended because the output is awful, and it may blind oncoming traffic at night. Its up to you though...
bro way to complicated for a headlight
Cool story bro. Way TOO cool.
@@spyderauto haha nice one and thx for the video hopefully it works
I agree. On volvos it would take about a half an hour
@@sammazz4064 lol how long do you think this take not much more time...all cars now are complicated
lol 45 mins and some screws, yes maybe for you
Can't sell to the public??? Wtf is the video for and who is it for!!!!!!!
