Thank you but I think you forgot one of the most important component of the OS, the file manager.
It does look great, but I have to admit, the most beautiful deepin OS to me was 15.x back when they were using mutter. That glass look for the main panel, menu and side panel for the settings were gorgeous. I'm sure it's much more robust at this point, but I do wish they had a 'legacy mode' to get the other look and layout.

that's the same thing I was looking for when I was watching this video. I just checked it several times, like a normal linux user does, when selecting main DE/WM, but already those things you mentioned makes me nostalgic

It can do apk power amp bass boost apps like Chromebook apple mouse Bluetooth sacrifice laptop can be removed and made back to apple or windows

I love Deepin OS and use version 20. Version 23 is completely ruined. no floating panel, looks more like Windows 11 rather than Mac. No way i'm upgrading to 23.
I hear you. That’s the beauty with Linux. You don’t have to upgrade but you can still keep the kernel up-to-date, etc. Very cool.
No one checks usb and dvd should work bring over programs from Mac OS apk or Microsoft programs plus conversion or it just works x86 times or and 64

Nobody gonna talk about the spy that does Windows?, why always chinesses, Like if Google werent spying never and all social medias, where do you think all the money they get uh?

Even if it were sending data to CCP, unless you are going to go to war against them , it doesn't matter. all s/w have backdoors. Some are hidden , some aren't.
They ruined it by removing the floating panel
I can never get deepin to work correctly since I have all of China blocked on my firewall. Not sure why.

I really don't see how ANYONE outside of China (or their allied countries) would ever consider this. It's almost guaranteed to contain backdoors controlled by the CCP.
