He is clearly singing what sounds like a whole step lower than back then, also with a strained rasp. Nothing like how he used to be actually, but still decent enough.

Green day was scheduled to perform LIVE in Japan in 2021. I was looking forward to the day when you could listen to your songs live. However, it was canceled due to the influence of COVID-19, and the result was disappointing. sad. Please come back to Japan someday! Green Day is one of those bands that doesn’t seem to grow stale for their age. They’ve written more mature music as they’ve aged which has really aided them well.
Eh, I feel like they go back and forth between maturity and immaturity, going from stuff like the entire "21st Century Breakdown" album and the song "Nuclear Family" to stuff like "Fuck Time" and "I Was A Teenage Teenager".

This was my first time ever seeing Green Day on TV, then having only been a fan for a few months. It wasn’t live but still. I went in expecting Father of All or something (which would have been great), but instead when I heard the opening notes of Still Breathing, a song that saved me, that moment was truly magical.
