    Hi how do you recommend getting a board shipped to Hawaii for the best or fair shipping price ?

    Hey Russ. I bought a new bushing for the front suspension, but when putting it back together the holes are nearly impossible to line up. What would cause this? For you it seemed they lined up without any additional pressure needed.

      @propelvirtualgarage963  2 роки тому

      Do you mean the holes for the center bolt?
      Some guys use a wood clamp to squeeze everything because when the bushing is new, its tight. I'll show you on FB how some guys do it. Will tag you in a post in the Propel Endeavor Modification group

    If I understood it correctly, we should apply Loctite to the two front and also two back suspension screws?

    • @svenpaproth510

      I tried absolutely everything from a "little" heat to pure muscle power, the loctite on the bolt will not break. Any other tricks?

    Russ Frank Weinstein again. I resolved the screw problem after I took the front suspension apart to get to the screw. I could finally get a good look at it, It turned out to be the correct screw it just needed to tightened. I now need to know where the washers that fell off when I pulled the bolt out are suppose to go. I was not expecting washer to be there. I didn't see them in the video. Please tell me where they go. Sorry to be a pest. Thank you

      The washer goes on the screw that goes into the back of the barrel bolt, from underneath

    Howdy Russ!
    One of my (2) Endeavor S boards just up and died wile riding a dirt horse path/ trail to the post office (Aprox. 2 miles). I thought the battery just went flat and that the controller was incorrect on remaining charge, but before the ride, I had 50% showing on the controller, and so I put a charge on it after dragging the board home.
    I'm guessing here that I hopefully blew a fuse or have a vibration induced disconnect. I need to pull the deck to inspect. can you do a video on trouble shooting, pulling the deck etc.? (or give me some advice)
    Thanks for this video Russ!. I love my endeavors and share the fun of them with the people I meet on the trail to the post office...
    FYI on my kit for running errands. For those interested in the Endeavors for this purpose. (Way more fun than doing it in a 14mpg truck)
    *Small zippered Tubular style duffel(22"long sports bag with end loops and handles) instead of a back pack attached with a large flat bungee cord as a cross chest/ shoulder sling.
    The duffel is more adaptable for cargo and holds my gear conveniently when in standby.
    *in the Duffel. another bungee cord but its a braided long one, so you can hook the cord to itself for adjustability (www.tribeoneoutdoors.com).
    (Note the extra bungee is just in case I need to attach my bag and jacket to the board for the long walk back. Stuff happens!)
    *Small tire pump Co2 / hand pump combo unit.
    * small pressure gage.
    *tire patch kit. and spare tube
    *Spare belt
    *Allen wrenches for tightening and adjusting, and belt change.
    *Hub wrench (light weight flat stamped metal)
    *Vented & padded riding jacket and pants.
    *Helmet with bicycle rear view mirror attached and head lamp.
    *Wrist mounted fish eye mirror.(provides quick and clear view of what coming up behind me especially on the street.
    Thanks Again, and RIDE WELL!

      I will try to do that Sir. I did take the deck off and found the battery is doing fine. it looks like the esc is the problem and not the remote.

    Hi Russ I just received my Endeavor S on Friday, I noticed that one of the two screws you just showed us how to get to and tighten is missing. There actual is two screws one, is what you showed us in the video the other is some odd screw that clearly should not be there as it is stopping the ruck from turning. I NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO GET THE CORRECT SCREW . HOPE FULLY I CAN GET THE RANDOM SCREW OUT AND REPLACE IT WITH THE CORRECT ONE. --THE ONE THAT IS IN THERE APPEARS TO BE VERY LARGE AND MAY BE REALLY JAMMED IN THERE. I ALSO CONCERNED IT MAY HAVE STRIPPED THE THREADS. HELP PLEASE ITS BRAND NEW.

      @@propelvirtualgarage963 Russ I did contact Cycleagle as mentioned above. I received an answer from them that I would like to verify with you. I was able to send them a picture of the odd screw which they claim is the correct screw. Your video shows what I believe is the correct screw. I would like to send you the picture I sent them. Please let me know how to do it.

    I had to ride my board in light rain and noticed it makes a creaky noise now, Is it safe to lubricate is with WD40? Or is there something better you recommend?

    Maybe I missed it but what was the point of removing the suspension and tightening those 2 bolts?

    • @brentspaulding9990
      @brentspaulding9990 2 роки тому +3

      There was an issue with those two bolts working themselves loose when riding so they suggest putting loctite to keep them from working loose. They mentioned that new boards will now have loctite on those bolts from the factory.

    Russ I did contact Cycleagle as you mentioned. I received an answer from them that I would like to verify with you. I was able to send them a picture of the odd screw which they claim is the correct screw. Your video however shows what I believe is the correct screws which are totally different. I would like to send you the picture I sent them. Please let me know how to do it. A quicker way to solve this problem is for some one to send me 1 of the screws you took out and reinserted with locktite on it. I would go out and buy the screw myself but it is not a common screw. Please let me how to send you the picture or better yet send me the screw I am asking about.

    Hey Russ, Joe Miller from Facebook here,
    PLEASE BE VERY GENTLE IF YOU USE A HAMMER FOR INSTALLING THAT PIVOT BOLT BECAUSE ITS LIKELY YOU WILL DAMAGE THE BRASS PIVOT BUSHINGS IF THE BOLT IS NOT LINED UP CORRECTLY.
    I think it's safer to flip the board upside down, so you can see if the holes are lining up. MAKE SURE THE TURNING ADJUSTMENT SCREWS ARE LOOSENED ALL THE WAY. use a flathead screwdriver or prybar to careful pry the suspension towards the battery enclosure. You should see the holes aligned, just push the bolt while turning and she should slide right in. P.S. don't forget the lube😉

      I'm going to pm you on fb Joe. With a few resources, you can make a tool that makes it super easy with no risk but you are correct. The rubber mallet is used only to tap with, never to force.

      2 lines of 6 screws
      They run above the edge of the battery box
      Peel back the corners of the edge grip tape segments to locate screws

      Hey CB, sorry you are dealing with this frustration. I looked into this last night. We encourage you to work with paypal for your refund as they are the entity in control of paying you back. Propel doesn't have your $, paypal does so that is definitely your best route for the quickest return.
