    What a nice machine!! This one goes on the list of "must try" boards in the near future. Looking forward to your review! Cheers Scott

    The website is still advertising that if you order today you can receive your board for Father’s Day. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for my board and have emailed several times and they haven’t responded. I’m about to dispute the charges on my credit card if I don’t hear anything by tomorrow. This really sucks because I wanted that ruckus really bad😢

      I ordered my ruckus 3 weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything from them. When I try to track my order it says order not found. They aren’t responding to my emails. Can you reach out to them and make sure they are still in business please? The website is still advertising order today and receive your board for Father’s Day sooo that’s not encouraging.

      @dailylife6935 they are 100% in business
      The tracking won’t update until he clears customs in your country
      They are down 2or 3 staff and are really behind on emails and messages
      Don’t worry they are 100% still in business
      Feel free to dm me your order number and I’ll give the other a call for a update

    This one has definitely caught my eye, but I'm still leaning towards a NYX (not sure which version) or a floatwheel.

    I really wanted to buy a Ruckus BUT few things held me back such as its a New board so unsure how it turns with the trucks and its systems, slow email times , lack of information about the board on website, I email them had to wait days for a reply that did not answer my question on how long are the Trucks in inches or centimetres, but they did answer this question will there be a gear drive system in the future? they said yes but no time date. also no current gear drive system on the market is compatible with the Ruckus from the email I got.
    SO I bought a Pivot GT instead as its cheaper and does accept gear drive system such as Omni Esk8 Cruiser Gear Drive Kit.

    Bit sad they redesigned the remote yet didn't move the buttons away from where your grip can make accidental button presses

    • @mikemenard4543
      @mikemenard4543 Місяць тому +1

      Hi there. We changed the logic of the remote in other ways. Before if you tapped the settings mode you could switch gears and perhaps do so accidentally to a higher gear. That’s practically impossible now. To move to the second gear you now have to double click the button quickly. There’s haptic feedback during these transitions also. To move to the third gear you now have to triple click the button quickly and to move to the 4th and highest gear you now have to quadruple click the button quickly. This process makes it extremely difficult to accidentally move into a higher speed gear. In addition, every gear now has its own unique color and each of those colors can be customized by the owner. This makes it easier to assess quickly which gear you’re on. The buttons are also deeper recessed with better perimeter plastic around the outside further reducing any accidental hits. FOC 3.0 allows for loads of customization but also the debut of our parking mode feature which locks everything up for the user at a group ride meet prior to the ride, or on a patio, or heading into a coffee shop and the only way to unlock it is to first pull the brake all the way back down. Even the throttle up movement won’t do anything in park mode. Hope this additional info helps. If you have any questions please let me know.

    As there any compatible gear drive? I really like the look of this but I was really hoping my next board would be gear drive... I wonder if the 2 in 1 ace deck gear drive would work. I don't understand why propels new gear drive they made for the endeavour isn't listed as compatible...

    • @mikemenard4543
      @mikemenard4543 Місяць тому

      Because Endeavor is an independent suspension structure, the gearbox moves up and down with the suspension arm, and its shaft is not like DKP, which is fixed on the truck, so they cannot be used universally. In our humble opinions the present demand for gear drive is somewhat of a marketing/advertising driven spike when we feel gear drive is really best suited to specific applications where the gear ratio remaining fixed is intended indefinitely and where debris getting into belts is highly likely (for example off road use like Endeavor). For more neighborhood cruising and street riding we are still fans of belts for a variety of reasons. Including the fact that we can help keep the price of so much new R&D elsewhere more affordable to more people. Having said all this, we are considering gear drive for our more street driven products due to demand.

    • @mikemenard4543

      Michael from Propel here. The answer to that question is absolutely not. 😂 And I laugh not because it’s not a great question. It is. I laugh because I know we have our work cut out for us to get the message out.
      Because ADT is one of the most adjustable and customizable trucks ever made the first goal of any owner is to first get the bushings and coil over tension optimized for them. This includes even something as subtle as adjusting the return to center tension on one side slightly more than the other if you are a goofy rider who puts slightly more weight on your right than your left or a regular rider who puts slightly more weight on your left. You can do that or use Ruckus to reveal your natural tendencies and work on weight distribution over time. Ruckus has the least amount of slop or dead zone at its center point of any channel truck so it will tell you quickly where your weight distribution resides.
      You can either adjust the board to meet you or try to adjust your ride style to meet it. For most people the former is easier than the latter. The truth is most people think their weight distribution is perfect at finding perfect balance at all times but at higher speeds this is not true for most people who are not pro downhill racers or esk8 racers so one of the key calibration goals is figuring your ride weight distribution out first and improving that center point for yourself first by practicing on Ruckus or choosing the right bushing or tension level and only then begin playing with the hydraulic pressure settings as your final step.
      The hydraulics are the icing on the cake but you want to make your cake perfect before icing it.

      @@mikemenard4543 thank you that was very helpful in understanding how tuneable your trucks are 👍

    • @mikemenard4543
      @mikemenard4543 Місяць тому +1

      @@samarttriampol320 It’s a great question and one of the hardest marketing aspects we probably have ahead of us.
      Calibration is key because we have removed the slop typically seen in some channel trucks before. For anyone above 200lbs a great starting point for Ruckus will be beginning with all black bushings. We are adding a third set of bushings that we will call our “Reds” that will be even firmer. Beginning with a firm setup is an easy way to begin and then over time skaters can decide to slowly increase their sensitivity and calibrate the ADT tension and hydraulics more and more.
      We fully expect that how someone rides their Ruckus their first week will be very different than how they have it setup 6 months to a year later. We anticipate a lot of different settings sharing between people for different ride feels, different terrains, different weights, different foot placements, different foot sizes, etc. We made Ruckus the most adjustable truck ever so that eventually every person becomes one with their board in ways previously unimaginable.
      Unlike a guitar where we can tune it for all we need you to first tune Ruckus to you. Then, similar to a guitar, we need you to pick the right strings for the pressure you prefer. Lastly you can play with the amp dial and find the perfect music for you to make. ;-)

      @@mikemenard4543 Would you say that this is your carving board? I'm hunting for an electric version of an oldschool Carveboard, and the flex on the Ruckus is VERY appealing to me. I thought I wanted an Endeavor2 GT, but the Ruckus is looking like it's more akin to what I want. Unfortunately there's not a lot of content out on it yet. Ultimately I want something smooth and capable of glossing over road roughness, but agile and a surfing feel.

    • @mikemenard4543
      @mikemenard4543 Місяць тому +1

      @@willernstAnother good question. Because ADT reduces the slop/dead zone seen in some channel trucks it can be tuned to be extremely maneuverable and precise to movement. You can see in this video that Scott is capable of turning on a dime without any serious crouch or lean. So in some respects it maybe does have some similarities to the surf adapters you’ve seen in the past in some respects or DKP turnint radius. Some people have modified Endeavors to remove their bushing limiters to also simulate that same stuff surf adapter feel. Our goal with products is to make them as precise as possible with the least dead spots and slop as possible and then allow owners to add firmer bushings or more tension or in the case of ADT.. hydraulic pressure… to aid them in reducing the sensitivity potential if they so desire. When you start out precise you can reduce turning sensitivity but if you start out sloppy and lacking precision potential then you will never be able to add that later.Endeavor has independent suspension so it handles grade and terrains changes better overall and because it has a limiter it’s arguably an easier platform for beginners to learn on.

    What happens after 25mph?

      Hey mate,
      In this video I was sitting on 30+ a few times and felt fine.
      That was after I turned the ADT down to 3 in the rear and 1 at the front
      For my weight I assumed I’d needed a higher number, how wrong I was
      I started with 9 rear and 5 front and it was very stiff and really felt horrible
      All this will be outlined in my actual review.
