Some great knives. I had an imperial that looked a lot like that as well.

I like them too. Have 2 matching stockmans one medium and one large made by Camillus. Rosewood handles and brass bolsters. I like that one you have. Hatchet and Ax are really cool. Thanks for showing those, and God bless

Thanks Tom. I Brushed up on the history of Schrade/ Ulster/ Camillus. After WW-2. Albert Baer bought Ulster’ and Camillus’ and continued to produce the three Knife brands. Definitely Craftsman Pocket knives were produced in the old Ulster’ or Schrade’ Factory. I have never seen a Pre WW-2 Craftsman Pocket Knife! I bet Sears didn’t start up the pocket knives branded Craftsman’ til after WW-2. But no doubt Sears Ro-Buck’ sold standard branded pocket knives in their catalog and stores back in the day! Best!

I have a Wayne #150, made in japan. It looks identical to your craftsman. Would you happen to know how it measures up to others of the style? Or are they basically the same? It sharpens nice, and it feels well made.

Wow. I had a Wayne’ stamped knife just like it 20 years ago too! Pretty scarce knife. I never ran across another. Is yours stamped Japan on one of the blades? If I remember the blade stock on the Wayne I had was a bit thinner than the Shrade/Ulsters. That was the only difference. I can’t remember if mine was stamped Japan also. I will check Goins’ guide on that brand

@@CuttingEdgetools I've never seen one before until I was gifted it by my father. Yes, it is stamped Japan.
The blade does seem thin, but I have nothing to compare it to. I've always found it interesting, and thought it would be interesting to find out a little more about it, then I saw your video and had to reach out.
