I found this really helpful as today is my first day on this and it helped remind me to order a new water bottle, avoid caffiene and get a journal. So much anxiety but trying to be kind to myself. Thanks for sharing.
You'll find yourself running around doing everything you wouldn't do before because you had no motivation. in the first week anxiety will bother you a bit but it will calm down. I've been on elvanse about a year. If anyone has any questions just reply to this comment.
For me personally i did find myself taking it a little later each day to avoid falling asleep by 5pm, its not a bad crash youre just tired. @Scottfraser250
not everyone reacts in the same way. My anxiety levels dropped dramatically almost straight away and that was on the initial 30mg pills (tweaked to 50mg after the first month). I didn't lose my appetite at all and had no trouble sleeping (probably because my anxiety levels had dropped). What I notice straight away was that the world seemed quieter, my social interactions were so much better both with family and complete strangers, being creative came much easier and when I was awake, I was really awake. I haven't found a down side yet or any negative side effects.
@@ernestalab6592 hi dude. People react differently to the medication, for example i was super focused when i started. How are you feeling now? are you still on elvanse?
Thank you for sharing! ❤️ I was recently diagnosed with ADHD at age 41. I've always had panic attacks though. When my doctor was prescribing medication, I wanted Vyvanse. Insurance refused to cover it, they refused Adderall as well. So I ended up with Concerta. It's been sitting in my cabinet as I'm afraid of the possible side effects. Though I feel horrible every day, so I'm guessing I should give it a try!
First day on Elvanse myself, I'm really feeling the increase of HR and it's much higher than my regular resting HR. Did you experience that at all? I'm interested to know if you are still avoiding Caffeine or if you were able to add that back in later on? Are you still on Elvanse?
I’ve been taking it for month now, having increased dose after one week. I don’t have any side effects anymore and when I wake up in the mornings I feel the same as before. From what I understand, elvanse doesn’t build up in your system so you only feel any effects for the 12 hours it’s working. I hope I explained that well! 😊

It's a stimulant, it will increase your heart rate. How are you getting on with it now?
Where’s your accent from? I’m hearing London + Scottish
How do you feel when you wake up? Any lingering side effects?
