I really like this camera for its shape and size and colour night vision. The down fall is it not not being a true PTZ and the main housing and bracket made out of plastic and not metal - as well as the holes/grooves at the top for water to collect or get in. Do you know if there is a similar size/shape model that is indeed a PTZ and made out of metal too?
Does Hikvision sell a separate part to cover the Heat Sink? Out of the box, it looks as an unfinished product :( BTW, in Europe the AC power supply comes with Electrical Cord.
Sorry Michael but, Hikvision have no intention at the moment to bring out this version in 'Coax' form if I'm understanding your question correctly. But, you can add this camera to your Turbo DVR if you already have the DVR networked to your router for phone viewing. All Turbo DVR's have between 1 and 4 channels set aside for an IP cameras like this model. A simple connection is required via a simgle POE injector. Hope this helps. Regards, Paul CCTV Systems UK
If the camera isn't isn't giving you any footage have you contacted your supplier? A good supplier or installer who you purchased it through will always be willing to help out with technical support. Regards, Paul CCTV Systems UK
@@CCTVSystemsUK I think what Will Ritchie Vlog means is that the review has no real life footage in it. Daytime, nighttime, colorvu review specifically and if the 4MP makes up for the lack of proper zoom. That footage. (Isn't that what everyone searching for a camera is looking for in a youtube camera review?)

Hello, just had this camera installed, but I have a fish eye view. I would like a linear view, can this be done in the software.
Many Thanks
Gary
Can it track a subject and PTZ based on where the subject is?
Great review. That camera does not look like it was designed for outdoors. The grooves and water channeling at the top is a fail for outdoor use.
I m living in Qatar…how can I buy this??
You get raw plugs in the kit with screws. Are these good enough to hold it to a outside wall?
Hi,
I tend to use a slightly larger wall plug and screw to achieve a more solid fit!
Hope this helps.

High up in seaside locations being plastic does help with corrosion.
Is this an outdoor or indoor camera? Great video and information. Thank you.
This has an IP66 rating so yes, you can definitely use it outdoor.
