@@adamwasserman1761 not bad ! I'm getting a bit lazy in my middle age so I think I'll just stick to my one bag.Cheers Gavin
Yeah my oztent is faster both up and down
Each to their own mate, long as we are out there enjoying ourselves, that's all that matters.
@@gavinswanson666 oh yeah for sure i was contemplating getting a swag or not just been watching a few swag videos 😅
@@TOM.RANGER I actually did a little research on that oztent and I dont mind it. Would be great for my other half that hates the clostraphobic effect of the kings swag. I like how you can put them on a raised stretcher too. How do they go in heavy rain? I am so use to mine now that I love it but I am open for advice. They are a lot dearer but you get what you pay for. I have a little issue currently with kings over the replacement poles which is still pending. I won't say anything negative until I get some feedback from their management but least to say, if I get no feedback, I may change the way I speak about them.
@@gavinswanson666 yeah righto I've actually got the bigger oztent rv4 model which is awesome sets up the exact same way literally takes a minute wind depending i don't actually peg it down if im just doing a night stop but if im spending days/weeks in one spot I'll set it up fully still only takes 5 minutes
I've done a 8 months solid stint in it last year as i work country rail and got suck out in narrandera because of the covid thing and couldn't come home there were some pretty solid rain wind sun hail and it still looks like the day i got it and never leaked once I've had it two years now and nothing has broken on it and i still use it regularly
As for kings gear I've had a kings awning and qwick pop roof top tent a few years ago and with in 2 months everything was rusting out and falling apart and they wouldn't replace a thing so personally i won't buy kings gear again
How do you deal with the saggy sides collapsing in on you when you have it erected?
there is another videobeen published about that just type big daddy swag in the search bar
Stuart is on the money. I've done the stretchy thing but I'm liking the idea of the custom pvc pipe middle bow. I have another idea in mind but I have to try it first. If it works I'll share it with everyone. The wife gets claustrophobic so we have one each. (Maybe I snore to loud !!!)
pull tight with occy straps and pegs
Im more concerned about your paddle thongs
The 4WD of thongs !!!
