Im an exchange student and clogged my guest family’s toilet on the second day while no one was home this video saved me and no one ever noticed a thing
Mom spent an hour last night trying to unclog toilet, was in a really bad mood and ranting about everything wrong with the world, used this video and got it done in 5 seconds thanks to you :)
That was me today. Was sweating and swearing up a storm. Put me in a terrible mood. Took my sons Xbox away. Told him he had to poop at school from now on. Unclogged the first toilet with auger. Working on the second one now with hot water and dish soap method. Fingers crossed.

There are no words on how to thank you! I'm a 60 year old woman and I've been trying to unclog my toilet (it was pretty gross) for the past two hours. I'm exhausted. Being in quarantine due to COVID-19 I knew I'd never get a plumber. Yours was the first video I came upon. I tried the warm water and some Dawn and waited 15 minutes. It didn't go down on its own, but it only took two small pushes with my plunger and everything went down. I was unclogging a toilet with a plugger wrong for about 30 minutes until I watched this video! You are a life saver. I never knew you have to fill the plunger up with water before starting to pump up and down. I fixed it in about 1 minute after I did your method.
We used the last method, dish detergent & a kettle filled with hot steaming water poured in & then the plunger again. Thank God! We have family coming over tomorrow for Christmas Eve. Thank you! You saved us!!!

Thanks for saving me the cost of a plumber. My father was a certified plumber. He taught me many tricks of his trade. My son had clogged the toilet tonight. His father used the plunger and snake on without it budging. I had never heard of dish detergent as a cure for a clog. We worked feverishly with the other devices and had nothing to lose. Nothing! I put the detergent in the clogged toilet like you suggested and left it 30 minutes. By this time, my husband was in bed. I plunged the clog about 5-6 times and I felt it move. After a good 2 hrs of tears and sweat (yes by then i was crying of anxiety because i didnt need any problems with my crappy landlord), I knew my problem was the succion. Realized I've been using a flange plunger wrong for my whole life. Putting it in at an angle and letting it fill up was key. Just cleared a big clog with two pushes. Didn't have to use auger which is a mess to clean. Thanks

Like everyone else here I've got a blocked toilet. The new tenants are throwing tons of paper down the toilet. I can't buy an auger until tomorrow as all the shops are closed. Which should give the tenants time to reflect on what they've done.

Thanks for the helpful advise! I use the soap method, but since I didn’t have much dish soap left, I substituted liquid laundry soap. It worked like a charm with about a 1/4 cup of soap! Minutes later I plunged again and it went right down

I have the flange plunger but I wasn’t using it correctly. That helped but didn’t do all the job. Dish soap and warm water did! You literally took all my stress away today! My hero of the week. Thank you!!! 😊

Thanks so much. Had the worst clog ever just now. Poured warm water and dish soap. After 15 minutes started pumping with the technique you showed. It didn’t come easily but finally got the clog loose. No plumber called today!

Like everyone else here I've got a blocked toilet. The new tenants are throwing tons of paper down the toilet. I can't buy an auger until tomorrow as all the shops are closed. Which should give the tenants time to reflect on what they've done.

Thanks for the helpful advise! I use the soap method, but since I didn’t have much dish soap left, I substituted liquid laundry soap. It worked like a charm with about a 1/4 cup of soap! Minutes later I plunged again and it went right down
Thank you so much. I was so stressed about unclogging the toilet. I used the dawn dish soap and hot tap water. The clog went down after I add two small buckets of water. No plugger was needed. 😊
