Love this....Africa is inspirational...she will change lives ❤
This is an awesome podcast. Never heard anyone talk so articulately, in depth & honest about feelings, thoughts & behaviours about addiction & the normality of a chaotic life.
Truly inspiring 👌💯💯🙏Thankyou James & Africa 🙏💫Pure Gold💫🤗
What a beautiful soul and SO articulate and honest ❤️
The two way honesty across the table is absolutely epic. So much has resonated. While many people get sober & talk about change, "doing the work" etc etc, alot of it is just talk.... I've always found James brutally honest about his past/flaws - never claims to have actually cracked it although it's plain to see the changes he has made & is still striving to do & be better... this is the first time I've listened to Africa & it's clear she has literally done a phenominal amount of work on herself, I've nothing but respect to anyone sober (or getting sober) especially those who recognise it to be or becoming an issue & get a handle on it while they are still young. Cracking interview xxx
Completely agree
Amazing!!! The realness of this conversation!
Beautiful, regal & eloquent lady ♥️
Excellent James, one of your best interviews.
Such a great conversation James and Africa, so much honesty and vulnerable truths in your experiences on both sides with the darkness of addiction and the illusion of happiness in the addiction
We all need to feel 'Safe'
Feeling safe is freedom. There’s the work. Fabulous podcast. More of this please James, this is the best pod you’ve hosted. Africa has clearly done the work needed to find her 'True self'
Anchoring to that part of ourselves is key.
This lady is a real one.
I’ve got to say I thoroughly enjoyed this one. At a real low point in my life right now and fighting with addiction. This podcast reflects on a lot of my own views and I enjoyed the philosophical debate. Really good podcast
James there's a guy called Rod Dempsey from Newcastle a real real naughty man from the day and been in some insane situations . He told me a few stories I would love someone like you to interview him he has been through some shit in his life and I mean insane shit. Real Geordie hard man
Wow the chemistry between you guys! 🎉
A lot of haters in the comments keep smashing life bro
This is who you interview when you run out of people to interview
@@AncientYouth64oh please stop
@@Doritbardola one sentence a narcissistic alkie who used to get black out drunk........who cares
Arsehole,s some people
@@Doritbardola He has a point, no idea who she is.
Great convo 👌🏾
Nice to keep the types of guests diverse too. Well done.
I met James English in Saudi last week at the Fury/Usyk fight. Such a nice guy, asked him for a picture and he said course you can brother. Had a chat for a few minutes, very down to earth. If you are reading this keep smashing it bro
Wonderful and very impactful episode ❣️
This was a hard watch for me 😢
It was great and very eye opening for me
I’ve been with an addict for years
We’ve had clean times
Many relapses
And now on crossed addiction it’s a bloody hard road !!
Great interview James and Africa thoroughly enjoyed it.
I love your pad casts, you always have interesting guest. ❤️☮️🇨🇦
Africa and John amazing podcast.truthfull and beautiful I salute you both ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I dont know much about the guest but i read somewhere she has borderline personality disorder. I have the same disorder so this will be interesting for me.
Looking forward to it.
As do I, my friend
Hoping this finds you on a better day...
I'm glad I came back to see sensible comments.
Some folks were just never told it's not acceptable, it never has been. ✌️
@@holmesgroove1Thank you, and a great day to u too my friend.
The comments sections can be rough at times. The safety of being behind a computer screen brings out the worst in some people imo.
So much of this resonated with me, I'm still In the never ending cycle of working hard all week just to get f'd up on a weekend, go through the monday/tuesday depression and thoughts of never doing it again, to then feel better by the end of the week...
"One drink this weekend won't hurt will it".... and the cycle continues...
i've realised this was an issue from my early 20s but still at 35 I'm stuck doing it,
I think you guys nailed it on the head with the comments about your social circle, most of my best friends/close family members are drinkers, we do have other things in common but the majority of our get togethers revolve around drink.
It's a horrible thought when you know you may have to break away from them to be able to fix yourself.
What a tonic this conversation is ❤ well done both xx
Hi James great podcast with a lovely guest well done to you both for working hard to overcome your problems and be who you are today I and my siblings and mum grew up in an extremely chaotic household so I could see where Africa is coming from but I am so much better than I was and a lot happier most of the time thank you both so much ❤
Why is it necessary for people to know who she is? I dont know who she is. I dont want to know who she is.The who they are people are often not worth knowing. And the Celebs crawl out of the woodwork. The Celebs are not from Zambabwe
Exactly this!! People need to listen to message as there’s so much addiction now. It’s not about who she is but her story and message is powerful and can help others.
What am amazing woman
Gorgeous woman. 😍
👏❤
Who is she ?
I can save you the time watching this, i drunk a lot, until i blacked out yadda yadda ....zzzzZzzzzzz
James please read..many lives many masters...sorry I'm not tech savvy and old..peace and love poppy
Who?
She's practiced this persona over a prolonged period of time, but pretentiousness can't disguise the fact that she's rehearsed this. She doesn't come across as real or authentic. Who uses phrases like, seeking fulfilment or honouring the moment? Jargon.
Who is she?? You may as well have my next door neighbour on this.
Go and watch the tele then.
@@daz3745 I haven't had a tele for years. I like James English and he has had some outstanding guests on. Been watching him for years. However, I'm just baffled at some of the guests. From the annoying to the down right obscene but then again, he can do what he wants, but doesn't mean I can't have an opinion.
Jesus christ 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I remember these podcasts used to be good? Load a tripe now.
Big fan of this podcast a long time, but lately it feels like it's fell of a cliff, guests and stories are boring, sorry
James' so desperate for content he's brought on his Tinder date.
Is that a woman?
You gotta be tryna seek attention at this point
Nope.
Aye and very attractive
Another load of bollocks
