New Holland Skid Steer Rototilling! Quick attach hydraulic rototiller & New Holland L220 skid steer prepping ground for laying plastic and planting vegetables!
Did a great job Chris. I like that you have the ability to change the rotation of the tines. Thats a good function to have. I have very rocky soil at my house too.
I am happy with its performance. Being able to reverse the rotation sure makes getting rocks out of the tines easy if they get stuck in there 🙂 Thanks Dean!
Man yeah!! Been waiting on this one! Looks like it did an amazing job! I was for sure curious , put many a mile on a Harley rake on a skid steer but never a tiller, that was interesting! The goats in the beginning of the video had me crying😂😂 Thank you for bei going us along and look fwd to more sir!
The goats interupt my videos quite frequently 🤣 This was the first time I used a skidsteer tiller, and I was happy with the results! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Skid steer are handy!! There are times I'd like a tiller for one, but my Case doesn't have the Hydraulics to handle it. The dead CAT 236B does though... But it needs an engine. Rolled the rocks around alright 👌
The soil looks mellow. Was my job to take a knife, and sometimes a wire cutter to the beaters on our spreaders. I don't know how, but occasionally we would wrap wire into the beaters.
That works wonderful based on this first use, the rig is perfect for you vegetable field, I guess that piece now screaming for seed in it, well done Chris, nice video
*It worked up nice but i wouldn’t like not seeing the finished product and backing up would frustrate me lol. Did you get a good deal on it because you didnt seem sure thats what you wanted? None of those attachments are cheap* #WorldsOkayestFarmer
It did come out nice. I don't like going backwards either. I just wasn't sure if the tiller was going to be a good one or not. Seems like a lot of the new attachments I buy are junk lol
Wow!!! You used something new for the first time with success!!!! I was expecting something to break. Lol
Put it in our rocks it would’ve 🤣
It didn't break because I didn't order it online- it came from a dealer 🤣🤣🤣

Free tilling service! Get on the list...it's a first come first serve basis! 🤣
As long as I get a good video opportunity 😉
Looks like it did a nice job. Those tillers are nice. I have one I pull behind the tractor. Great in the garden.
It sure did! I only have a 6 foot wide 3 point tiller, and sometimes bounces a lot in stony ground. This didn't bounce at all 👍
Looks like it did a nice job of incorporating the compost.
It sure did! And I didn't break it either 🤣

@@dehavenfamilyfarm It did well!! Thank you sir!!
Great Job! When traveling in reverse what direction did you have your tines turning? Thanks
A little bit of trial & error but, you'll get it figured out. Tiller looks to do a really nice job overall. Thanks for sharing. Take care. 👍🏻👍🏻
I am happy with it, so far. It did a good job and didn't fall apart in the process- what more could a guy ask for?? 🤣🤣
Makes a really decent seed bed
I thought it did a good job- better than my 3 point tiller 🙂

I don't think I could get by without having a skidsteer 😁 Better get your Cat fixed! You don't have anything else to do, right?? 🤣🤣🤣
@@dehavenfamilyfarm I don't need to sleep..lol

It's amazing what gets caught on beaters and tiller tines 🤣
What model/brand is the tiller?

I am happy with its performance 🙂 We have thousands of plants to put it yet this year... Thanks Jan!

Haven't used a rototiller of any type
They really work great preparing seed beds for vegetables 🙂
