Someone had a great Black Friday week sale on the KA stand mixer. I think it was BB&B. If you watch, you can find good deals. I don't use mine much, but it is great to have when I need it.
The fact that he says the actual measurements of each ingredient instead of saying "garlic, salt, etc." is awesome. Mad respect because he knows that anyone who makes one of his recipes will be very inclined to purchase the cookbook to make every single one of them.
Totally agree! I thought for 20 min, we'd be seeing just a "teaser" of an eventual longer video. But he packed it all in (pun intended) like a boss. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!!
One of the many things i love about Josh is that he turns all expectations upsidedown, and that make my brain start to dream up what else i could do to personalize it. For a very disabled broke person, i think i'll start with the apples, add just a few cranberries and booze it up. And im going to try chicken or pork wellington... Might not work, but we'll see! As a Spaniard who actually has tried your recipe for Patatas Bravas (It's in his book) I gotta say that they're delicious but they lack some spicy to it. You can ad a teaspoon of hot paprika along with the sweet one or even fry a cayenne pepper with the diced onion and garlic. That will make this recipe more similar to the actual Patatas Bravas you can eat here in Spain.
My girlfriend is Spanish and as far as I’m aware shouldn’t it be like a garlic aoli instead of just plain mayo with the bravas sauce? I’ve never had it with just plain mayo, the garlic is so much better
@@lachlantaylor1225 Yes, and there's also that. All i oli is heavily prefered over plain mayo (or at least in my opinion LOL). You can find many variations of this dish depending on which place you order it. But Patatas Bravas should have at least a little bit of spicy to be "Bravas".

I was thinking of how different american culture is when it comes about christmas food, but your video is awesome, in Romania the christmas feast is mostly about sacrificing a pig and use everything out of it to do lots of types of sausage and charcutterie, a gelly like garlic soup from the bones and maybe some apetizers, but essentially is a lot about pig sausage and whatever else you can get from the animal so you avoid wastage. If the pig is good quallity and you do it properly what they do after the sacriface is that they use a flamethrower to clean and cook the skin then rub it with salt and then you just eat the skin and it s an amazing snack. sort of a chicharon but not fried, soft and rubbery rather than crispy
