- Higgins and I were out running errands yesterday when he suddenly refused to start after stopping by Mrs O's work. She and and nice young lady who was self-proclaimed "skinny but strong" pushed Higgins so I could pop the clutch to start him and get him back to the house.

First thing I would have done is hit the side of the starter case with a long piece of metal like a tube to shock the brushes. This would get it working and prove that the brushes need replacing later.
