@@SteeleStrife my theory is in dark souls we are in the age of fire, then the age of dark, bloodborne could be the age of blood, and elden ring could be the age of gold
There was a shortcut you missed, almost right next to the church of yorshka, with a gate. The runback would be less than 30 seconds long if you got it. Mechanically, Pontiff is very strafe oriented, as you can get certain openings and idle animations to make the fight easier.
it's always after i get my ass handed to me by a boss like 5 times in the row i ask myself something (Am i underleveled for this boss ?) if the answer is yes i'll go grind a bit or if not then its time to git gud playing defensive and learning his patterns and combos and openings. and after ear twisting and toes gripping and ass clenching you get the job done. amazing video btw ! keep it up

Sullyvahn is really a pain in the back, sometimes even for experienced players if you're not good with parrying. There are some runs i do where i reach the church bonfire, open the shortcut you didn't discovered to pontiff, and then, i like to go all the way back ans go into the DLCs, defeat friede to get access to ringed city, get all the good rings +3, defeat the demon prince, spear of the church and Gael, and only then i go back to fight pontiff Sullyvahn, so i can watch his healthbar melting
@@SteeleStrife to avoid spoilers for you, there will be a point when you will be automatically teleported to lothric castle after defeating a boss. At this level you will probably be strong enough to face the DLC.

Pontiff is a boss you will appreciate ath the end of the game. One of the better base game bosses. You can either go to Caelid, or Altus Plateau/Altopiano Altus, if you haven't been to Caelid, know that it is easier than Altus Plateau at a lesser level, but you might struggle with its rememberance boss. You might also be underlevelled, so explore previous areas. To reach Altus Plateau, you have a few get two halves of a medallion, one which is in east limgrave, fort haight, the other is in fort farroth, which is in the southeast of an area called dragonbarrow. If it looks like Caelid but rainy, that's it. You can also look for the ruin-strewn pricipice (o se stai giocando al gioco con la traduzione italiana, si chiamerà il precipizio sulle rovine), and there will be a lift that takes you to altus plateau. There are a few other options, but these are the most available.

It’s not Radhan’s move-set it’s rellana’s even then pontiff came first making it his move-set
😐
Btw u can summon two people for this fight at the same time, makes this fight easier for sure, but it’s lowkey fun to rush them with ur companions
