In the UK, adverts for lawyers usually take the sympathetic route, calmly and soberly talking about all the ways that one injustice can damage your life, and saying stuff like "We're here to help." In America, they seem to be promising you your own A-Team to go and roundhouse kick that injustice and set it on fire.
It may sound cliché but Americans respect power and confidence. If you have one or both (or pretend you have them) then you're in the clear more often than not when running a business.

The first time I saw a U.S. Medical ad I keeled over with laughter. You guys don't understand how weird listing all the side effects sounds to people who aren't used to it.
+Greg. Sym. LOL It's weird to us too. And super annoying - they're the longest commercials on TV. My dad and I made a game out of them where we just mute the TV when they come on and try to list every disorder we can think of just shouting them at random. " May cause: Enflamed lips! Prostate cancer! Purple toenails! Enlarged or painful breasts! Excessive hair growth! Yellowing of the skin or eyes! ADHD! Brain atrophy! Chickenpox! Death!" It makes the commercials more bearable.
they're required to, but they don't want people to notice so they either say it really quickly or in a soothing voice and it's hilarious. (soft spoken woman's voice):"if you notice blood in your stool, stop taking ____ and contact your doctor right away. ask your doctor if ____ is right for you." lol DEAD.
What's the name of the guy next to Fion (hope I spell it right ) I love him, his so funny lol. I think you should introduce all the people who works with you in general btw :) keep the nice work ^^
Facts. Can you guys actually show "classic" commercials? These are shown late at night and are the cheapest commercials in America. 80% of the people in the comments have never even seen the commercials you guys are showing! How about showing popular American commercials? Like the axe body spray ones.
fantasychan76 That wouldn't work because the Irish broadcast American T.V as it is. They don't get to see all the local trash that comes on in the midst of the night full of hair curlers cigarette butts, and t.v dinners.
That's an unfortunate side effect of taking artificial testosterone. A rise in your testosterone levels causes your body's estrogen levels to rise as well, which is why men who take testosterone after having testicular cancer often grow breasts.
+Liz Antunez It's not about the best ads(that gets screened all over the world) but weird ones, like listing side -effects in commercials which is not done in most countries outside the USA.

Raymond Smith In MS we have Richard Swartz. "One call. That's all!" God damned ambulance chaser makes a living off encouraging people to sue for accidents and then getting his opponents to pay him to go away instead of going to court.
They have socialist medicine. I don't think they are even allowed private doctors outside of the socialist medical system. That is why we hear about all the horrible boob jobs in eastern Europe or south east Asia. Or about the British kid who got taken away because the parents wanted to take there son to get treated with a safer procedure in Romania. I believe but the British doctors wanted to save the kid with affordable and older brain damage causing socialist medicine cancer treatment and they had the parents listed as kidnappers. Totally different systems of medicine. They have charities not to give better care or to send people to get better care outside of the uk but fill out lengthy appeals for denial of health care. You get above a certain age they stop trying to give you brain damage to kill your brain cancer but they just let you die of it. I understand that the uk and Ireland are 2 different countries but I'm using the uk as a example because I don't know shit about the irish medical system.
moonspellsdumb what on earth are you on about? Are you talking about Ireland or the uk, because that sure as hell isn't the health care system in the uk

Just by the way I'm an American who sits I. Front of the tv all day watching many channels and haven't seen most of these so thanks for including them big fan.
I'm an American and I have only seen one of those commercials, the Lunesta. All the others look like they're local/regional commercials, not widespread popular ones that span the whole country. I like watching your channel but please, do a little more "fact" checking/research into these videos. A lot of the food, taste testing videos you do also are not completely correct either. ❤️ y'all are hilarious, just wish they were more on point.
Disappointing that one of the medication ads wasn't for that asthma drug that lists as a possible adverse effect "may increase the chances of asthma-related death." Uh. Uhhhh...
have you ever read a leaflet? like... that is very normal. even for ibuprofen a side effect is "headache". that's because the medication messes with this specific area of your bod, so if something goes wrong, where else would it be?
Wait, do commercials for medical products not say the side effects in Ireland? I would rather know the risks and understand what to look out for than to be completely oblivious. And side rant, that fucking kush thing pisses me off. 55 fucking dollars for something that's not actually a problem? Complete bullshit. I have DD cups and have never had breast pain while just lying in bed.
+xXNoOneImportantXx For example in the netherlands pharmaceutical companies aren't allowed to advertise prescription only drugs on any medium. Aside from that there aren't a lot of medications available over the counter anymore either, a lot of them became prescription only in 2013. They don't even have anti nausea meds over the counter. At most you'll see adverts on the tv and in magazines selling cream to treat joint pain and that's pretty much it. Ireland may have a similar policy. I have FF cups and do sometimes feel a nagging pain when I try to sleep on my side, but I still wouldn't buy something like kush for it. It looks like a male masturbator/fleshlight.
In Germany there isn't a lot of commercials for medicine too, because most of the time your doctor has to give you a prescription so that you can take a medicine. But if there are commercials, they just say at the end: "For information about risks and side effects ask your doctor or druggist and read the description.".
Testosterone deodorant. Ok. May cause prostate cancer. Ok, sounds like a fair trade. Note to myself. Next time I shove my deodorant up my arse I must ensure I've fixed the top on firmly.
Facts. Bruh, If you're trying to tell me Ireland has magical low testosterone drugs with no side effects, let the rest of the world in on this magic! Also, if you're trying to tell me no Irishmen with low T and transgendered Irishpeople don't take these hormones, I'd also call, what's the word, "bollocks"
Hapad Yamatt The point they are trying to make is that we just don't really advertise medication on TV in the say way, it just sounds hilarious. I've never seen an ad listing off a hazardous sounding list of side effects while actually trying to sell a product. We put some small print at the bottom of the screen rather than saying it out loud, so someone listing really rare but serious side effects while actually trying to make you buy something sounds like comedy rather than an actual sales pitch. The only thing in any way similar that I can think of would be a radio ad where there is obviously no print so things like terms and conditions have to be slightly elaborated on. Also the only meds we can advertise on TV are non- prescription/over the counter.
Lunesta (zopiclone) is also used in the UK and Ireland, it's probably just suggested by the doctor instead of advertised to the patient. The side effects are the same for people in other countries, and used for the same reason - a .1% chance of serious side effects versus a lifetime of insomnia might be an easy choice to make. America is just really weird that drugs are advertised to patients and it should frankly be illegal, forcing them to verbally say the side effects came about because they used to put them in small print and zip past them, it's become a bit of a farce and if we had a functional government this and other things wouldn't be a thing
Dear Ireland, These are very silly commercials! Even WE laugh at how stupid they are! Please don't judge us by them!!! All my love, an Irish American...
I think it's great to see other people getting the jokes and laughing at them like we do. I just wish they had included ones like the Tiddy Bear, Old Spice, Dos Equis, etc... The ones that become running jokes long after they air. Or Superbowl commercials! They only did "normal" commercials in this one, the ones were we roll our eyes and ignore them.
+Linda de Montaigu They aren't really classics, but they're good examples of classic commercial tropes. You know, the pharmaceutical ad with the side effects of doom, the ambulance chasing lawyer commercial, the "As Seen On TV" madness...
I'm so sick of those medicine commercials. "This will help with your sleeping problems! But it may also cause: WORSE sleeping problems, vomiting, swelling in the legs, blood clots in your arms, breathing problems, constipation, migraines, throat cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and death. See if it's right for you!" Like, wtf?!? I'd rather stick to the sleeping problems, thanks!!
Well, it might be worth it but only on the advice of a doctor or several doctors after you've been worked up for your sleeping problems and had tests done and stuff. It shouldn't just be, "I'm sleepy for some unknown reason... Gimme them pills!"
Drugs have the same side effects regardless of the country they are taken in. The only difference is because advertising them is allowed, the side effects must be made known. Also, the FDA requires mentioning every single thing that was reported as a side effect during the trail, regardless if it actually came from the drug, and even from the placebo group.
Mathew Crawford Basically, they take the same drugs, with the same chances of side effects, but they do it in blissful ignorance. That's the way it sounds, at least.
Young Frankenstein - hardly ignorance. Our doctors and our pharmacists will tell us of the risk by law. Surely US doctors must do they same? Also there's a full list of all side effects and medical advice inside the box. Hapad Yamatt no one's saying your way is dumber. Maybe there's something lost in the cultural differences, but it's the casual delivery of the side effects that seems rather strange to me. Relaxing images of people sleeping while the nice lady tells you they might die. :P If that's not strange then.....
DontWakeTheInsomniac Okay, that sounds about right. I was unsure, as I know the U.S. Federal Drug Administration is extremely stringent on how side effects are discussed and damn near a book on possible side effects can come with every new drug, plus U.S. pharmacists are required to pull you aside and discuss them with you if they see you are taking a new drug for the first time. It's to the point of obsessive, and I appreciate it, it just sounded like some other places are much more lax about the whole thing.
It's very similar in Ireland (tv adverts aside). I've been grilled just for buying over-the-counter codeine flu meds!! Here there is also a legal limit to one paracetamol/aspirin ect.. product per person, so you cannot buy two or more ibuprofen (example) products at a time. So if you want medicated cough syrup & pills at the same time, tough shit! :O We're certainly quite strict too. I'm not sure what agency regulates it here.
Stumbled across your videos and love watching them:) everyone that participates seems like they would be fun to have a drink with. Keep up the quality humor!
Near me we have a billboard for a law group that literally says "hurt or killed in an accident...call us!" Like somehow death would not be an impediment to ringing them up.
Hey, I'm a 38H and my boobs are still growing independently of my overall weight/body fat -- that boob pillow actually sounds fucking brilliant (though it could be better constructed by the looks of it)
Sadly these commercials have more entertainment value than a great deal of what passes as television entertainment programming here in the States. I just wanted to give a salute to the Irish students I met when I was stationed in Germany with the US Army. You guys were always friendly and we had some good times while drinking that awesome German beer.
"Classic American Commercials" Wtf is this??? These aren't "Classic" at all! I haven't seen any of these! Please don't turn this channel into Buzzfeed!
In my country it just says something like "If you want to know about the side effects, read the patient information leaflet or ask your doctor/pharmacist."
in Germany we don't have ads for medicines that are only available on presriptionand for the free ones they say "for questions about risks and side effects, please consult your doctor or pharmacist." also I think in most countries people are just smart enough to read the leaflet (or is that the hard way you were talking about?)
SabeLoTodox3 Yes in America people tend not to read the leaflets so they mention the side effects in the commercials to cover their asses. Plus the doctors never tell you about side effects here unless you're very persistent about it. It's interesting that they don't have ads for prescription meds in Germany. It's always the little things you don't think about that turn out to be the most different. :)
Don't worry SabeLoTodox3.... I'm American and _always_ read the leaflet. There's hope for the US, yet! Btw... Does your name mean "He/She knows it all"? Or does it mean a "Know it All" in general?
I've grown so accustomed to the blatant amount of harmful side effects in medicine adverts that I don't really notice them anymore, it's like they're part of the formula here in the states.
You people don't understand the pain of those medical commercials. It's literally 2 or more minutes of "this may lead to death" "call your doctor if this occurs" with people doing mundane ass things in the background like walking their dog or going to the park and it's SO ANNOYING.
Me and my family are always laughing and making jokes about the affects they state in the commercials. Its so funny like "side affects may include internal bleeding, heart problems, and may lead to death." 😂😂😂
"That's not a sleeping pill! That's a death pill!" I found that to be brilliant, because it's true. Most American commercials for medications swiftly say the negative effects at the end of the commercial and it seems as though the negative out weighs the positive. It is like pill shaped death made for consumption.
Anon Mason Because you don't need cigarettes but many need these medications. And it's good to let the consumer know what could happen when they purchase a product they're going to need to use.
"Oh you can't sleep? Why not try dying"
I LOST IT
Daniel Howell's Fringe Gap Lmao ikr 😂😂😂😂
The end bit about half dildos killed me.

+Fist-of-doom what he said
I've never seen a Comercial like that and I live in America. I guess I'm the only one.
"The Irish version of this guy would be called hammered. "
Leather jacket guy is my idol.
he has his own channel!
+Sam Busch What is it?
I live in Hampton Roads and believe me they chose a tamer than normal Lowell "the hammer" Stanley advertisement.
+Sam Busch props on that man! I'll check him out for sure!
+glasssofOJ no problem!
"Can't sleep? Why not try dying?" 😂😂 I'm so weak!
You should have showed them the headache medicines with the side affect of migraines. Those are my favorites.
PumpyCake or the anti depressants that cause 'suicidal thoughts or actions'
Better yet, the head-on commercial that doesn't tell you anything other than apply directly to the forehead.
In all seriousness, that happens because anti-depressants increase your energy and motivation *before* they start making you happier. So there's a window where you still feel like shit, but suddenly you're a lot better at following through on plans.
or the "don't take if you're allergic"
Evan Derickson That sounds like a terribly dangerous combo 😂
Chickenpox! Death!"
It makes the commercials more bearable.
Raggical Traggical yeah! i've heard that one before!
+Greg. Sym. i live in america my whole life and its funny to me
+Raggical Traggical "Anal leakage"...oooh, lovely! I'll take 50 boxes of that product!!! LMAO
they're required to, but they don't want people to notice so they either say it really quickly or in a soothing voice and it's hilarious. (soft spoken woman's voice):"if you notice blood in your stool, stop taking ____ and contact your doctor right away. ask your doctor if ____ is right for you." lol DEAD.
Thanks For Watching!
Curly & Conditioner re-united
What's the name of the guy next to Fion (hope I spell it right ) I love him, his so funny lol. I think you should introduce all the people who works with you in general btw :) keep the nice work ^^
***** Seconded! I find myself being like, "Who are these people? I love them!" all the time.
Facts. Do Irish people explain American Gun Culture with gun ads :)
Facts. I totally agree! Introduce all the great people who make these videos awesome!
Facts. I laughed at most of these commercials as well. My friends and I even made a lot of the same jokes.
"Can't sleep? Why not try dying?" My fav part.
Exactly.
You have so many likes and barely any replies.....
Chanchany mine too! best part
Chanchany YUP
Chanchany Made me giggle for sure..
The guy in leather jacket is by far the most entertaining!
Yes he is
Totally agree
Guy Fawkes lmao
LeGrosDupont ikr I miss him
I totally agree with the pack here. I also like curly haired guy also!
Omg the Lunesta commercial... So used to half the commercial being the bad side effects. It's funny to see other people think it's crazy
Lawyer commercials are usually either weird/gimmicky with shitty effects, or boring as hell
Also, they could have picked way better commercials
+Astronautical Films its a five minute video, its not going to be entirely representative.
Sam Busch The few commercials they picked weren't popular or good. They wasn't even that much variety either.
+Astronautical Films what would be the fun in watching good commercials!? lol the terrible ones are funnier.
+Astronautical Films ^5
"Can't sleep? Why not try dying" 😂😂
+Nicola It sure won't keep you up at night. :D
YES. I've seen most of these on TV. I agree with everything xD
Thumbs up!

out if ALL the American commercials you didn't put "Jake from Statefarm"?!?!?!??!?!??!
JONES BARBECUE AND FOOT MASSAGE
Omg please one of the best

omg that's the best commercial
Where's the "I've fallen and I can't get up"! xD

I just started to laugh when one of them said "Can't sleep? Why not just try dying?" 😂
I live in America and have never seen these commercials before.
Cool
FitzChivalry Farseer the ads are mainly ones that get played either at night or during work/school hours
Big Shawn ok
I've seen the Lunesta commercial and the Hammer one(I know that one because I used to live in Hampton Roads)
"THAT'S NOT A SLEEPING PILL, THAT'S A DEATH PILL!!" XD
I've never seen any of these tbh expect the first one.
Same here
Same here. Where did they find the others lol
Heidi Sargent The Hammer was featured on a Cracked Video for local tv adds
Melanie Grier same
Melanie Grier Same here! I'd suggest they'd use ones like super bowl commercials or commercials for more common products.
medicine commercials In US "may decrease depression side affects may include cancer, death, diabetes, thoughts of terrorism, and a third leg
Ezra Silva Did you notice that one of the side effects of the testosterone deodorant was enlarged breasts?
That's an unfortunate side effect of taking artificial testosterone. A rise in your testosterone levels causes your body's estrogen levels to rise as well, which is why men who take testosterone after having testicular cancer often grow breasts.
SHOW THE SHAKEWEIGHT COMMERCIAL!!!!
Now that is inappropriate yet hilarious
Where is the State Farm commercial? The Adriana Lima Super Bowl commercial? The m&ms commercials? This shit is inaccurate
They need the State Farm 1 and the one with flo I forgot what it's called
+Motormax Progressive.
+Motormax And the "sprinkles are for winners" one
+Liz Antunez It's not about the best ads(that gets screened all over the world) but weird ones, like listing side -effects in commercials which is not done in most countries outside the USA.
+Liz Antunez still, as a canadian when i watch US stations, their commercials are ridiculous.
Ok, I only knew one of those, I'm American btw, and the last one is straight up crazy
I knew the first one
most of our commercials are strait up crazy, but then again, Japanese commercials are on another level in our eyes. it's all relative I think.
imagine first seeing this ad during a commercial break during Saturday night live I was so confused
okay, but nobody has said anything about how the last one was called kush. that was the best part for me
Should have reviewed the Lucky Charms or Irish Spring commercials.
Lmao, shame. :p
They can't use brand names like Lucky Charms
bigcrowfly Good call, we need a part two...
Ha!! THAT would be awesome!
Or old spice or Directv
I've never seen some of these commercials, and I'm IN the US
Cool
So you're saying they aren't real? lol.
I haven't either - the only one I've seen is the first one.
Most those are local TV ads or stupid infomercials which plays when everyone is asleep. The only one that shocked me was Lunesta which is a brand name ad.
Do you guys think it would've been more interesting if they reviewed normal ads? Probs not
Ads in the US are either for prescription drugs, lawyer helplines for suing people and sometimes for food.
The weird thing is that I posted this comment before I watched the video.. :P
And insurance
after living in america for six years I can confirm that and add that they are all 5 minutes long and boring as fuck. Seriously it's rediculous
car commercials.
ailish086 You forgot weight loss ads.
"Can't sleep? Here try dying!"
"Oh you can't sleep? Why not try dying" hhahaahahhhahaa yes.
Didn't realize they weren't required to say the side effects in other countries.

hey dont advertise it in other countries lol. medication is given by doctors for free(or a tiny prescription cost)
In other countries it is illegal to make such adverts.
Now whenever I watch commercials, I have Irish people sharing their thoughts in my head. It makes me snicker
...I haven't seen half of those commercials they showed them >>
Fuck off
Cal Curtis ....Okay, sorry if I offended you...
Kayleigh Sunshine well they were rude
Ive only seen the first commercial and I'm from Cali they showed them commercials even we think are stupid
Cal Curtis wait wtf hahaha fuck off for no apparent reason, this commercials are retarded I have seen only 1 of them ever on tv. show them the super bowl commercials instead this are commercials not many people have ever seen.
Favorite commercial: I'M JIM ADDLER, THE TEXAS HAMMER
the law commercials are local we had Jim "the hammer" Shapiro who basically threaten to murder people that injured you.
I'm starting to doubt as well, Amy. And I AM an American.
Raymond Smith In MS we have Richard Swartz. "One call. That's all!" God damned ambulance chaser makes a living off encouraging people to sue for accidents and then getting his opponents to pay him to go away instead of going to court.
Here is Houston we also have a The Hammer. Hes so loud. XD
Do you guys not have commercials that list all the side affects? I'm pretty sure it's a law here to list them.

+Mina F They're not over the counter you need a prescription that's why it said "Ask your Doctor"
I love how these are all the commercials that we laugh at and joke about or have never seen before. I love all of it.
2:37 "You don't need.... a stick full of love juice"
I lost it! ROFLMAO 😆😂😂
Why would anyone buy any of these products
We share your fascination! Let's hope, whoever they are, they keep buying, so that we can enjoy the infomercials.
Facts. Agreed XD
"Can't sleep? Why not try dying." I fucking stopped breathing for a good minute and a half.
Dear Ireland, These are very silly commercials! Even WE laugh at how stupid they are! Please don't judge us by them!!! All my love, an Irish American...
Oh no quite the opposite, we don't judge, we enjoy! Keep 'em coming we say! Check out some of our baffling adverts www.mattressmick.ie/
Facts. I went and checked out this link. I didn't see any funny ad, although Mick looks crazier than hell, but damn, those mattresses are cheap!!
I'll watch this over and over just to listen to them talk in that precious accent.
Mr. 3 Musketeer "are you have'n that?" cracks me up every video when he says it!! 😉😉
How are these 'classic American commercials'?
exactly, they need to show old spice
+cream_o_potatoe what about 1-800-54Giant Giant Glass
+Jewel Vang we have old spice here in the UK and Ireland
+Linda de Montaigu They aren't really classics, but they're good examples of classic commercial tropes. You know, the pharmaceutical ad with the side effects of doom, the ambulance chasing lawyer commercial, the "As Seen On TV" madness...
+pepperminty green Watch again at 14-16 seconds into it
I'm so sick of those medicine commercials.
"This will help with your sleeping problems! But it may also cause: WORSE sleeping problems, vomiting, swelling in the legs, blood clots in your arms, breathing problems, constipation, migraines, throat cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and death. See if it's right for you!"
Like, wtf?!? I'd rather stick to the sleeping problems, thanks!!
Well, it might be worth it but only on the advice of a doctor or several doctors after you've been worked up for your sleeping problems and had tests done and stuff.
It shouldn't just be, "I'm sleepy for some unknown reason... Gimme them pills!"
Someone with severe insomnia will gladly take a few mild side effects to get some sleep.
Young Frankenstein Yea and somehow our way is dumber XD
Young Frankenstein - hardly ignorance. Our doctors and our pharmacists will tell us of the risk by law. Surely US doctors must do they same? Also there's a full list of all side effects and medical advice inside the box.
Hapad Yamatt no one's saying your way is dumber. Maybe there's something lost in the cultural differences, but it's the
casual delivery of the side effects that seems rather strange to me.
We're certainly quite strict too. I'm not sure what agency regulates it here.
Should have shown them Old Spice and the funny Cialis/Viagra commercials.
Wait, these types of ads are abnormal?!
Yup, at least in the UK
and in Germany as well
They're abnormal in every nation on Earth except USA.
right haha
The only nation crazy enough to allow prescription drugs to be marketed directly to patients.
WHERE IS THE SUNSETTER RETRACTABLE AWNING? IT MAKES PATIOS 7 DEGREES COOLER!
I was waiting for the Farmers Only commercial. Now that would've been interesting.
Yeah, this is why many Americans have abandoned network/cable/satellite television for online content like this youtube content.
For sure. Our house did.
very true. i barely watch tv ever
Stumbled across your videos and love watching them:) everyone that participates seems like they would be fun to have a drink with. Keep up the quality humor!
"HELP! I've fallen and I can't get up!" xD
They should've showed them Carls jr. Commercials, geico commercials and some state farm or something else.
Near me we have a billboard for a law group that literally says "hurt or killed in an accident...call us!"
Like somehow death would not be an impediment to ringing them up.
these irish ppl r just loveable
Watching these with their fresh perspective makes me realize how hilarious these are.
That quote at the end was brilliant.
"Can't sleep? Why not try dying?"
I'm American and I haven't seen any of these commercials
Curly is married?!
I know right
No ring, but hey who knows?
***** yeah I thought so too, but people have been saying he is. Hopefully not XD
Celestial Cove YAS we can all hope ;)
+Kinkerz Kiki I came down to the comments to see if anyone else had questions this xD
Where are you getting these commercials? I haven't seen any of these in years
In years? They shouldn't exist at ALL!
true man lmao haha
"you can't sleep? why not try dying" im laughing too much at this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Having trouble sleeping? Why not try dying!" LOL that was great
The music at the end 4:23 reminded me of barneys them song
Hey, I'm a 38H and my boobs are still growing independently of my overall weight/body fat -- that boob pillow actually sounds fucking brilliant (though it could be better constructed by the looks of it)
Do all medical/cosmetic products in the US have to have a voiceover of all the dangers?!??! I'm Australian and I find it ridiculous/hilarious! :p
Yes. They're required by law to list all the dangers. It's also to save the company's ass incase their product does kill someone.
Wow! Here you they mostly just put the potential dangers in a leaflet in the box of whatever you're buying.
Kailah Louise they do that to I'm sorry can't you google this it's just extra measures for safety
PYJhawk I understand that, I just find it interesting that they say it aloud in ads as that isn't done here.
Its great... Viagra: "if you have an erection lasting for more than 4 hours, please stop using viagra and visit your doctor immediately. "
"if you can't sleep why not try dying."
that part made me laugh really hard 😂😂
Sadly these commercials have more entertainment value than a great deal of what passes as television entertainment programming here in the States. I just wanted to give a salute to the Irish students I met when I was stationed in Germany with the US Army. You guys were always friendly and we had some good times while drinking that awesome German beer.
"Classic American Commercials" Wtf is this??? These aren't "Classic" at all! I haven't seen any of these! Please don't turn this channel into Buzzfeed!
The world doesn't revolve around you mate, just cuz you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not common
CabraLad no need to be a dick mate, as I haven't seen any either. Bad word choice doesn't always equate to being a selfish prick.
***** cool
CabraLad
*narrows eyes*
***** becomes asian👲
Ryan and Ronan are a funny pair. Ryan's become the token miserable git since Ronan left.
ikr ronan's like Ryan's soulmate lol
In other countries do medicine commercials not say the side effects?
No, not where I am they don't, they tell you that in a pamphlet in the box the medication comes in
In the Lunesta ad there was a caption saying "see our ad in Food and Wine" they are promoting their ad in their ad XD
You guys need to do a video of just American prescription med ads! I love your guy's shock at the warnings.
So I guess in other countries they just don't tell you the side effects and you learn the hard way?
In my country it just says something like "If you want to know about the side effects, read the patient information leaflet or ask your doctor/pharmacist."
In Denmark medication and stuff aren't really in comercials. It's not like "call this number and get it". more like "you can get it here and here".
in Germany we don't have ads for medicines that are only available on presriptionand for the free ones they say "for questions about risks and side effects, please consult your doctor or pharmacist." also I think in most countries people are just smart enough to read the leaflet (or is that the hard way you were talking about?)
Non of those were popular American commercials
I've grown so accustomed to the blatant amount of harmful side effects in medicine adverts that I don't really notice them anymore, it's like they're part of the formula here in the states.
I'm sorry, weres the Shirrley Temple add or the Sunsetter
"Oh, can't sleep? Try dying." Ryan is hysterical.
ok. now I'm curious about what Irish Comercials are like.
Cool.
there not realy stupid
+Dark Naff I'm from Ireland and I call them . Ads
+Jack Hartigan yeah ads is just short for adverts..
+razmataz13drums Adverts is just short for advertisements.
You people don't understand the pain of those medical commercials. It's literally 2 or more minutes of "this may lead to death" "call your doctor if this occurs" with people doing mundane ass things in the background like walking their dog or going to the park and it's SO ANNOYING.
on i remember seeing that first add you people watched i really liked the butterfly
i just didn't care for the medicine thing i just liked the butterfly
the rest I don't know or understand
Me and my family are always laughing and making jokes about the affects they state in the commercials. Its so funny like "side affects may include internal bleeding, heart problems, and may lead to death." 😂😂😂
"reservoir law" yes! perfect 😂
The Hammer is like the mexican Saul Goodman
Should of showed em old spice
Watch this space... We're on it ;-)
Great looking forward to it
+Vincent Marchese haha you said it
You did all local commercials for america
"That's not a sleeping pill! That's a death pill!" I found that to be brilliant, because it's true. Most American commercials for medications swiftly say the negative effects at the end of the commercial and it seems as though the negative out weighs the positive. It is like pill shaped death made for consumption.
I've never seem any of these. Where did you get these commercials?
Well, great for that girl that she can sleep on her front but most women can't because it's PAINFUL
Once you get out of puberty and not prego, its not painful any more.
missy L i am well out of puberty and not pregnant, still painful
Barbara She doesnt really have large breasts so its not a big deal for her.
Barbara Wait what? I have fairly average I suppose (C-cup) breasts and I sleep on my front with no problem.
Raine Welsher I have G-cup breasts and sleep on my stomach all the time.
But super bowl commercials....
Cigarettes can't put commercials up because it 'may cause cancer'. Yet these medications can?
Ikr
Anon Mason Because you don't need cigarettes but many need these medications. And it's good to let the consumer know what could happen when they purchase a product they're going to need to use.
That's info you should be getting from your doctor, who's way more qualified than you.
It's known that cigarettes cause cancer but the medications CAN cause cancer if your body reacts badly to them.
Wait a minute. The BMT commercial was filmed in Bentonville, AR! I used to live there!! I recognize that wall! :)
" You cant sleep? Why not try dying " :) too funny!!
where is "help I've fallen and I can't get up?"
