idk why they wouldnt have built Grand Central since they just opened the Grand Central-Madison expansion just under a year ago. before that it was only MNRR going to grand central fyi: those magnificent buildings are how u know ur in forest hills, the architecture of buildings there are wayyy different than anywhere else in nyc
This was actually really cool to see. Ride the LIRR everyday on the Hicksville branch to get to work in NYC. Might have to pickup this game JUST to drive the train I ride everyday lol. Would really like to see them add in the new Grand Central Terminal as its gorgeous in there and that's where I go in everyday. SO much nicer than the dilapidated Penn Station although they are finally fixing up the concourse level. Would also love to see the rest of the branches like the Huntington/Port Jefferson branches as well as the Montauk Diesel trains
Also just an FYI but at 34:47 where you mention the stop markers being after for a "permissible overshoot", its actually intended for that. Some platforms are shorter so the longer trains will only have the front or rear so many cars open. Before those stops you'll hear someone on the overhead say "you need to be in the first 6 cars to exit at X station" or something like that and then you'll hear them before the station on the overhead telling the conductor that the "toggle has been set" in such and such a car meaning the doors past that point won't open and then after the stop they'll say again" conductor the toggle is back on through" to let them know it'll do all the doors again at the next stop. Same thing comes up at 38:00 when you ask "why are the doors open"? It's because no conductor went to the end of the 4th car to set the toggle switch and disable those front doors. That's cool that the doors are automatic for you guys like you mentioned a few seconds later.
Another great stream! You do such a good job of showing off the DLC! US routes not really my thing but this might be an exception, I did have the original!
I think with the M3, it could be seen as something the MTA didn't want packaged since they likely would have to do some changing to the M3's model to remove the door panels, and the whole "safety systems are required" thing I am curious if other trains, or even the Metro North M3 and M7A would obey the requirement for safety systems or if it is locked as part of the new LIRR V2's M7 and M9. Say if I put the ACS-64, ALP-46 or the F40PH which has ACSES on the route, would it comply with the required safety system?
The on requirement is only for lirr 2.0 m7 and m9. The m3 or m3a or m7a don't apply which means you aren't required to have them on. Same goes with the other trains
@@TheBritishAce that seems quite backwards, I would've assumed that the M3 is only used in rush hour to provide additional services that wouldn't be possible to provide with the current fleet
I'm quite sure that Ive heard probably Alex saying about 10% discount kn xbox and also 10% discount for owners of LIRR 1. It's so unfair dtg generally treats pc players better.

Superb, love seeing this! Personally love playing my local routes as well😎
The M3 received an update a while ago to match the M3a
Yeah but still broken safety systems on m3 LIRR 1 route. I won't be surprise if it will be still broken on LIRR v2
@@lxs1990 i think the m3 will just follow the new signaling system. After all the m3 is just following the signals, not itself

Thank you :) Yeah the NY 3rd Rail routes are great, this and Harlem!
What's a line you'd like to see get worked on for the game? Personally hoping for the Elizabeth line from the tube
West Coastway! Or ECW Upgrade/Expansion
The graphics are amazing!
20:10 that's a Restricting aspect (generally a 15MPH limit)
Great video, but they need to address the doors opening with no platform or the wide gap between the last car and platform.
Yes they do

Looks great can’t wait
when the conductor buzzes you to proceed, you don't respond back
Gotcha, thought it was similar to the UK, where its ding ding back!
@@TheBritishAce it is, all MTA Operated trains are like that. NYC Subway in particular requires u to buzz back, including LIRR and MNRR.
I don't think the allerter should triggered when stopped?
34:32 station is Laurelton
This is great
Alot of the stations stops looked dead with no NPCs
Do you only see M9s if you drive an M9? I've typed this at Jamaica so M3s and M7s may appear at some point.
M3s are rare (32 services total). M7s also exist and you can see them. However there are more m9 services than m7 services for gameplay reasons
Depends on the time of day, M3's seem to come out to play more around 12pm lol - M7's you'll see on most runs

Any Metro North V 2 extension updates and M8s extension what about Canadian routes coming in the future for TSW4
Nothing as of yet 👍
No canadian passenger license. The freight side is even more difficult
How you hide UI (on ~13:20)?
How do I enter the train number everytime I enter it , it says error
Hmm that tends to happen if it's the wrong one 🤔Or if it's already set
