I was fortunate to make a full recovery and am now back on the hills again - but your vlogs defo spurred me on through the bleak times! Hi Paul and congratulations on your achievement,a marvellous thing to have completed. Your channel is one of a few that has inspired me to start hiking the Munros myself.I started in 2022 and am currently on 32,living in the midlands I can only get up to Scotland 2 or 3 times a year so weather and time off are the main constraints. I’ve also discovered so many other beautiful walks in Scotland and have fell in love with Assynt and Sutherland and on my last trip was distracted into climbing the beautiful Suilven,Canisp and Stac Pollaidh which filled my time up away from the Munros,I’ll just keep plodding on and see how many I can get to..best of luck on your next adventures 👏👏👏👏👏🏴

Congratulations Paul. Fantastic achievement and it's obvious that you've loved it every step of the way. I really enjoyed your opening monologue too telling how it all happened. I'm new to your channel and only started watching your videos about a month or so ago so there's plenty to catch up on. It'll be interesting to watch some of your older ones. Your camera and editing skills will no doubt have improved over the years too😉 . I'm surprised that you compleated on your own as expected a big squad of all your pals to be there with you. Your compleation couldn't have been any more different from mine 12 years ago. I had 35/40 family and friends on Ben Chonzie in the pouring rain, saw nothing as champagne corks disappeared into the mist never to be seen again but like you I loved every minute of it. Cheers.

Superb Paul, finally got round to watching this one. I'm 32 mins in and thought I'll comment on what I've seen so far. Actually feel bit emotional for you as well as obviously it's very relatable. Love your back story and and the bit about the pilot jacket and Docs 😂😂. That was some photo of yourself as a young Lad 😂😂. Enjoying hearing about your UA-cam adventure and how that started as well. Your talking about your highlights and it's definitely difficult to pick after so many eh but it's great that you've made the videos to look back on. Wish I had started earlier but I didn't have a clue about hillwalking at the start never mind make UA-cam vids 😂😂😂. I'll need to watch that one that gave you squeaky bum time. I've never really been that confident in bad weather and your mind can play tricks on you. I liked how you said at the start "keep the heid" 😂

Bumped into you & Big Andy on the ridge whilst doing the 3 Munros from Loch Arkaig earlier this year. Stinker of a day & pouring down. Ah brilliant mate, what a journey eh. Liked the wee best bits at the end, did I see a hat flying off in the wind ? 😂 That whole journey made easier by the love of a good woman to go home to. Big shout to your Mrs , think you owe her a nice holiday somewhere of her choice 🥰😂. So what made you decide to do it alone and not involve all your walking buddies ? How did you deal after it? It's a bit of a strange feeling isn't it after all that effort, time and money. Nothing wrong with being emotional emotional mate up in the hills. Done a lot of soul searching in the mountains over the years, talking to yourself about life as you go round that journey . I'm surprised to hear you say you're giving up the videos. Whilst the munros have all been visited now I've got a second round, bothy bagging, Donalds, corbetts and other adventures going through my mind! I'm welling up 😢. You almost tipped me over the edge when you closed with "I'll catch you next time we're out for a wee walk" knowing there wont be anymore videos. What a great final video, loved hearing about your munro journey, the connections you've made with others and all your funny stories and different experiences. I found your channel about a year ago and you're in my top 4 UA-cam channels, inspiring my munro bagging journey and keeping me right 😂. Don't actually know you but feel like i do. Going to miss your videos massively. Hopefully this won't be the last and one day there will be more videos of your "wee walks".
Wow! now im welling up again! its been a wee bit of an emotional roller coaster this last video! What a journey Becky, from the Mountains to the people I have met and the new friends I have made, its been nothing short of life changing. This experience will stay with me until I pop my clogs and I hope that you get the same out of the journey that I did. I guess I just needed a wee rest from the videos and to be honest I struggled with that bit a lot...will I, won't I kinda thing. I will wait and see, I have a few ideas of things I want to do and maybe I will do more videos. I have 52 still to do and I found myself welling up watching you bag that last top, I’m actually toying with the idea of leaving it at 281, unlike your impressive 5 year journey mine has taken a whole lot longer (34 years so far) and I worry about not having that focus in my life. Its been an absolutely fantastic journey and you well know the effort it takes to get around all these. I got a wee bit emotional at the top and had to work hard to calm myself down! im not usually like that but a huge wave washed over me just at that moment.......I worried a bit too about the cliff edge of finishing but im already sitting here planning a bike and hike with the lads at the weekend! I was fortunate to make a full recovery and am now back on the hills again - but your vlogs defo spurred me on through the bleak times! Your channel is one of a few that has inspired me to start hiking the Munros myself.I started in 2022 and am currently on 32,living in the midlands I can only get up to Scotland 2 or 3 times a year so weather and time off are the main constraints.
I’ve also discovered so many other beautiful walks in Scotland and have fell in love with Assynt and Sutherland and on my last trip was distracted into climbing the beautiful Suilven,Canisp and Stac Pollaidh which filled my time up away from the Munros,I’ll just keep plodding on and see how many I can get to..best of luck on your next adventures 👏👏👏👏👏🏴

Congratulations Paul. Fantastic achievement and it's obvious that you've loved it every step of the way. I really enjoyed your opening monologue too telling how it all happened. I'm new to your channel and only started watching your videos about a month or so ago so there's plenty to catch up on. It'll be interesting to watch some of your older ones. Your camera and editing skills will no doubt have improved over the years too😉 . I'm surprised that you compleated on your own as expected a big squad of all your pals to be there with you. Your compleation couldn't have been any more different from mine 12 years ago. I had 35/40 family and friends on Ben Chonzie in the pouring rain, saw nothing as champagne corks disappeared into the mist never to be seen again but like you I loved every minute of it. Cheers.

Yeah I liked talking about my wee journey. I don't often ramble on as much as that but I though it was a good idea to give some of the backstory. Docs and a Pilot jacket! that would have been the wardrobe of a lot of hillwalkers back in the 80S I think! lol....

Loved your story throughout and yes it’s a bitter sweet end. Loads and loads of great memories you’ve encountered and it was a privilege to hike so many munros with yourself. We had some great journeys from our 1st hike together up to Derry Cairngorms with that cycle up to the lodge and a very demanding summit push, ahh the memories.👍
Your right there’s a lot of blood sweat and tears
throughout the journey but you always come back with a smile as you relive the hike.

Well done on getting your Munros done Paul. As you say UA-cam is good for some things and you and your films are for us probably one of the best things on it. Mixed feelings I bet, something you strive for for 5 years and then it’s done! Absolutely superb. We’d be gutted if we didn’t see you on the tellybox ‘off for a wee adventure’. Andy! Andy! thank you so much mate! totally mixed feelings however in the last few days the fog has cleared and my head is buzzing with ideas. Whilst the munros have all been visited now I've got a second round, bothy bagging, Donalds, corbetts and other adventures going through my mind! I think as they say this is not the beginning of the end but just the end of the beginning! lol....Im blabbering now. Seriously though I will be out walking as often but may just leave the camera behind....for now anyway! Thanks for the support through the journey mate! its been a pleasure. Paul.

I'm welling up 😢. You almost tipped me over the edge when you closed with "I'll catch you next time we're out for a wee walk" knowing there wont be anymore videos. What a great final video, loved hearing about your munro journey, the connections you've made with others and all your funny stories and different experiences. I found your channel about a year ago and you're in my top 4 UA-cam channels, inspiring my munro bagging journey and keeping me right 😂. Don't actually know you but feel like i do. Going to miss your videos massively. Hopefully this won't be the last and one day there will be more videos of your "wee walks".
Wow! now im welling up again! its been a wee bit of an emotional roller coaster this last video! What a journey Becky, from the Mountains to the people I have met and the new friends I have made, its been nothing short of life changing. This experience will stay with me until I pop my clogs and I hope that you get the same out of the journey that I did. I guess I just needed a wee rest from the videos and to be honest I struggled with that bit a lot...will I, won't I kinda thing. I will wait and see, I have a few ideas of things I want to do and maybe I will do more videos. I’ve totally loved watching your progress. I have especially enjoyed your humour, honesty and warm personality, which comes through on the videos (I guess all those walking buddies says something similar). Also, although you have done the Munros fairly quickly, you never seemed too obsessed with the numbers alone and just seemed to love being out there. I have 52 still to do and I found myself welling up watching you bag that last top, I’m actually toying with the idea of leaving it at 281, unlike your impressive 5 year journey mine has taken a whole lot longer (34 years so far) and I worry about not having that focus in my life. I’d love to see you up more Munro’s …. round 2 perhaps? 😅😅and I’d be very interested to see how you feel once the dust has settled.

Tim! im absolutely blown away by all the comments today and you go and nearly make me get all emotional again!!! Its been an absolutely fantastic journey and you well know the effort it takes to get around all these. I got a wee bit emotional at the top and had to work hard to calm myself down! im not usually like that but a huge wave washed over me just at that moment.......I worried a bit too about the cliff edge of finishing but im already sitting here planning a bike and hike with the lads at the weekend!
