I’m tired of hearing No Defense Dillingham to the Spurs! If the Spurs drafted him, Pop would never play him because he doesn’t play defense. Dudes barely 6’1. Not to mention he’s a shoot first guard, so probably will never pass Wemby the ball. That’s not what we need to win another championship. Also, if you look at Spurs draft tendencies, i.e., Sochan, Derrick White, Dejounte, PATFO prefers defenders. Lastly, last year, he benched Brenham for not playing defense.
I’m leaning Risacher but I desperately hope Castle has the promise to be drafted #4 for us
There’s no way going into the future of the nba you lean on a 6’1 point guard like Dillingham and I really like him personally and love his offensive game but I’m just being real
I think Castle at 4, Dilly at 8, and packaging the 2nd rounders for a late 20 pick to get Aj Johnson would be a perfect draft and completely overhaul the guard slots

I think the spurs should trade their 8 and keldon with the rockets to get the third pick and draft Risacher and Castle.
I actually wouldn’t mind that at all. I feel that we also need to unload Zach Collins and get a big that could take some of the defensive load off of Wemby. I’d like to replace Zach Collins with Big Z from Kentucky which can defend similar to Wemby and can also space the floor do to being sniper from the 3 point line. We could get Big Z late as well.

Its interesting how we minimize deficiencies for players we like and cant overlook them for players we don't like. The Spurs can ill afford to draft anymore players that cant shoot. Castle is a reluctant shooter and bad shooter. Riscaher is better.
