What do yall think of pairing Steph Castle and Devin Carter?
I think they could work with each other both can handle the ball and both are great defenders - Spacing might be an issue but I am banking on Castle 3 point shooting getting better

I would absolutely love that!! I think Castle is just postering about the point guard thing and would concede the point guard role to play along side with Wemby and the best point guard defender in the draft with Carter.
Pairing one of Castle, Risacher, Buzelis for the wing slot, with a Dillingham, Carter, or Carrington would be my dream scenarios.
Would the Spurs take a defensive minded player like Ryan Dunn (UVA) if he's still on the board? I know he's slated for late 1st round., but dude, he'd fit right in with the Spurs.
Yeah cause the Spurs need guys who can't hit the basket with the ball on offense? Dunn is great but he's about to be in the G League learning to shoot for 2 years
Rumors say the Spurs told teams that they aren't interested in Dillingham due to his size, which would imply they aren't interested in Reed for similar reasons. Also the Rockets have been pretty clear about going with Reed at 3. So overall rumors are he wont be an option, nor would he be wanted

It could be that the Spurs are throwing fake rumors out there. They've been known to do stuff like that to confuse the market and keep the guys they want on the board. I would be real surprised if the Spurs trade down because this is exactly what the team wanted when they traded Jacob. They wanted to be in this exact spot, picking young guys that fit Wemby. However, I could see the Spurs trade down (lets say they trade 4 for portland's 7/14 picks. Then they trade 8 and the hornets first round pick we have to the hornets at 6, then they select Castle at 6, Salaun at 7, and Topic at 14). That would be a Spurs type move to get another first round pick this year and take a project like Topic that wont play for a while

Does the star drill carry any weight with his terrible percentage from the season? And his highschool stats
castle is not a legitimate point guard. Check the tape. Of the 71 or so plays of him playing the point at Uconn, he shot on 57 of those occasions. LOL. It will never work.
What you’re saying just does not make any sense… Some people actually watched entire GAMES of him playing point, not just random HIGHLIGHTS on UA-cam. You don’t know sh*t
Have to agree, he was very successfully filled whatever role he was in at the moment. Scoring point guards do exist
@@Peroriperora haha, he came off the bench turd (he certainly didn't play whole games and wasn't a point guard when he did that crazy often. and even though he has good passing skills, he barely passed. The spurs need a passer. And he cant shoot. The spurs need a shooter. we cannot play sochan and another incompetent shooter at the same time. My post was in regards to every play he was the point guard in, not just highlights.
@@justinrodriguez4358 it would work off the bench i guess, but he doesn't really pass even though he is a good passer, and he can't shoot. We need a true point guard that can playmake for others or shoot or ideally both. Castle cannot do either. Done deal. Absolutely no way the spurs view him as a point guard especially after the sochan experiment.
@@nickbratton3868I read all of what u said and in the last sentence u nailed it. Castle would be a better point guard than sochan currently and sochan was in year 2. Spurs will probably draft castle and run him at point. Wemby will also probably be playing sum point guard
