It's only necessary in matchups where the opponent has a ton of threats. The DK mage's 3 attack water elementals aren't very frightening, so it doesn't really matter. Coldlight is essential for quickly burning out high pressure decks tho, since they can overpower you even through exes and brawls unless you somehow draw perfectly and get a small deadmans where you can draw the removal each turn.
He could've ended the game way sooner with Coldlight in his hand. Notice in the last few turns, his options are extremely limited because he doesn't have the option of drawing out the previously-copied hand easily.
Trump always paints himself into a corner with greedy card draw. He lately has been burning so many cards in his decks. notice he whirlwind his public defender to make sure his battle rage drew more cards while he had an almost full hand.
This was Trump's first time trying the deck, and not keeping coldlight was definitely a mistake that could have costed him the game if the mage had 1 more burn spell (notice his 4 health at the end) it was way closer than it should've been if the deck was played correctly.
Jimmy Bilbert You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as FATIGUE. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can BRING IT ON and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!
Warrior has evolved into mind games, ripping their deck apart and bullying them into submission making them hit their own face while we save energy for the next game. All we do is sit and laugh with 60 armor and 1 hp.
The mage got incredibly unlucky. Loses both his water eles in a brawl and keeps the 3/3, resummons a 2/2 and a 1/4, gets 3 imps worth 1 mana each from Kazakus, and all at the one point in the game where he can tempo to victory.
I was once in a similar situation as you were. I was bloodreaver guldan, had a single Saronite on field, and my opponent was out of cards in hand and deck. He was quest priest, we had to mill each other to death. I won by 1 hp and almost lost by not attacking once with saronite
So I'm uh.. not understanding what's going on around 5:40. Is it that he only reduced the cost of one of them? We don't see any spells cast in between.
The real giant got a price reduction from bring it on while the copy still had the real price and the rogue couldnt play it because it didnt cost 0. tl:dr Rogue got Jebaited with mana
Brumak4eva I think the arcane giant he played, actually cost 2 mana before trump played bring it on. Because bring it on only reduces the cost of minions, I guess it didnt reduce the cost of the giant in the shadow reflection (so it was still a 2 mana giant). I think thats why he couldnt play the 2nd one, it got me confused too haha. Correct me if I'm wrong tho
Superbeta Ahhh, I see now. He was thinking he could play both but was indeed jebaited by the reduced mana cost. That's actually pretty awesome. Thanks!
Luuk vdk Nope, I think you're absolutely right. Don't know why that wasn't occuring to me, but I'd guess it's because I've yet to have anyone play Bring it On against me. lol.
If you replace Dirty Rat for draw 2 weapons it might just be better in general because you will always have an option for damage, it synergies with execute, battle rage, acolyte, etc. Dirty rat is only decent for brawl and exodia mage matchups (there could be more but that's not the point here). It does give you more options against different classes or decks, but i still think the self synergies work better so you can reach your own win condition faster than they can. Plus, you look for times where you can mill those exodia decks because more than likely they will have a full hand.
hes playing the deck wrong and blaming the cards, he was supposed to double up on dead mans hand with coldlight oracles in hand, but instead he used the coldlights as a source of normal card draw, used dead mans hand at inappropriate times, and left himself with no win condition...
Top - exactly, he states at the very beginning he needs 2 Deadman's Hand and a Coldlight Oracle and then he uselessly plays the second oracle...then he worries about whether he's keeping enough card draw and figures he has Alcolyte...but the only reason he might not keep Oracle is if he is worried about his opponent making Water Elementals...and the Alcolyte doesn't draw a card unless he uses hero power, which will help his opponent make the Elementals...I don't watch a lot of Trump, but I've watched a couple in the last few days and they are just so painful to watch...at least it reminds me why I don't watch a lot of Trump. I think he's one of those streamers who isn't as good at the game as he appears to be, but he has enough decent players in his chat that he usually does okay following their advise.
Double arcane giants in this deck like Savjz, thoughts? I think they give you a really nice distraction so you can get into that deep fatigue against control decks. Sometimes I get like six of them and they end up winning the game.
Just imagine he used Whirlwind against the water elementals. What would Jaina do? I never said it'd give armor but indirectly it would save armor (and just one point, not two).
The way to play this deck is to just keep cycling a card that draws at least 2 cards per turn (cold light, battle rage + minion etc). That way you get infinite cards and often infinite removal / armor.
It's funny how as soon as trump plays a deck everyone starts playing it. For example Mid-range paladin, zoo warlock, mid-range hunter, and now grind mage. And next probably this deck hes playing now. And before you throw a fit, yes I know trump didnt make these decks first but he did popularize them.
Trump's Basic Teachings: If the rope hasn't started to burn, don't start your turn.
Jordan Davies hahahaha
Jordan Davies nice one
Don't forget to always use Bladestorm AFTER you've put all your minions down!
@@bugjamsyou do understand that there‘s (well, most of the time) a reason for that, right?
Deadman's Hand and Coldlight Oracle to cause fatigue...
Proceeds to not use Coldlight Oracle to cause fatigue.

Coldlight is definitely preferable, just saying that it's not a "must have" against the DK grinder mage because of their very low pressure.
Trump always paints himself into a corner with greedy card draw. He lately has been burning so many cards in his decks. notice he whirlwind his public defender to make sure his battle rage drew more cards while he had an almost full hand.

"No matter how bad you play this deck you still win"
Tell that to Trump's four loses just at the start of the video.
Its variance! Learning curve!
Anonymous Turnip
"""""""Variance""""""" he says as he gets beaten by an average draw.
or the 6 loses in the second game
Too dumb to understand "in this matchup"?
That's the joke.

Proceeds to use both oracles without deadman's handing them.
I'd just like to take a moment to appreciate Jens - the editing has always been great, and you just keep getting better.
The mage got incredibly unlucky. Loses both his water eles in a brawl and keeps the 3/3, resummons a 2/2 and a 1/4, gets 3 imps worth 1 mana each from Kazakus, and all at the one point in the game where he can tempo to victory.
Mama Mia that's a spicy 20% win rate!
Nathan Jasenosky yah trump sucks now... pretty sad
pretty sure this deck just has a steep learning curve
Infinity Sparks no he's bad at the game. I made the same deck and have a 60% winrate in my first 9 games
there are easy and hard match ups. 9 games isn't enough lol.
Nicholas Connor with this version. With the nzoth I have over 100. Winrate was pretty stagnant at 65% with both.
that was a weirdly enjoyable isaac reference
Not weird at all, perfectly enjoyable :)
Also, look at what items were visible, V A L U E.
19:16 that isaac animation! Luv u Jens
Trump win rate.... 1 Star!
Trump is playing so badly lately my eyes are bleeding.
"Let me just sit here thinking really hard about really obvious plays and then make the wrong ones"
But does he want Battle Rage in his deck?
2 mana draw a card is great ;P
Potatokoke Why not play Forge of Souls then? It's such a good card
I think Trump is in love..
I find it relaxing to watch guy not pretending to be the fastest speaker on the earth instead he is natural. Trump make ytgamers great again.
how did you play starcraft if you overthink everything
Edzter well he stopped
k but it was hilarious so
1:09 , Jens, we don't deserve you

scary
MANGS WHY ARE YOU HERE
Where at?
Well I really got scared that the secret was iceblock and she had another pyroblast
Lol, 2 deadman' hand= blank card, Jera.
Ya did good.
Only issac players will understand
Did Trump star in Kill Bill? His roping skills are so lethal, he must've learned them from Carradine
The DeadMan!!
That treasure chest scene was phenomenal, Jens= best editior
Thank you for giving credit to original deck creators! Much respect. Can't believe there other streamers ahem *cough* Day9 *cough* who wouldn't.
13:47 the luck of that mage and props to editor HILARIOUS xD
i would also say the same for the "where am i line" but i can't find the timestamp :'(

17:12 This Mage knows how to make infinite water sources in minecraft.
The new rope-coach
It hurt watching how bad he plays this deck.
Venricht Spring well yeah, he was trying to prove the title.
More like he named the title after how badly he played the deck.
Jake Loudermilk I think he did it on purpose
in defence of Trump, after playing this deck I can confirm that you do go insane
i love these kinda ways to win a game. its very different than how most people win a game. this way, i think, is very fun to watch
Video title implies that Trump is so bad, he has a terrible winrate with an unbeatable deck.
I mean is it TOO far off from the truth these days?
League Of Lou beatable with a deck that steals multiple cards from it
In the end, I was like "You haven't seen Reno yet"...
Guess I haven't played for too long.
lol that isaac edit
You played it so bad and still won... gz

Yeah man, follow that trend hating at anything that remotely smells of anime. Such personality
Yeah fuck the weebs!
Jakob Classen you can't make fun of someone for hating on weebs. It's like hating nazis just cause everyone does, doesn't make it wrong or unoriginal.

why do I watch this to the end?!
As always amazing editing Jens =D

Definitely an interesting and unique strategy... Except the part where the game takes ten thousand years to end. =w=

Chat was confused as well saying it didnt matter or thats now how it works but after rewatching this It made sense
Luuk vdk Nope, I think you're absolutely right. Don't know why that wasn't occuring to me, but I'd guess it's because I've yet to have anyone play Bring it On against me. lol.
the editing is pure gold
19:08 That was great Jens

The second game in a nutshell:
HOW LOOOONG CAN THIS GO ON?
At the end of that game against the elemental mage all I could think was "I hate this..."
Thanks a lot trump for this video i want to do this deck but I didn't see normal video about this deck! Thanks again
Does the title apply to jade/ramp Druid as well?
Everytime I watch Trump he mills his key card and blames the Deck ^^
doesn't he usually say something like "nah it's fine, we won't need that in THIS matchup" after that happens?
hes playing the deck wrong and blaming the cards, he was supposed to double up on dead mans hand with coldlight oracles in hand, but instead he used the coldlights as a source of normal card draw, used dead mans hand at inappropriate times, and left himself with no win condition...

I think he just takes a while to get used to these "alternative playstyle" decks. The Value is strong in him after all :D
Then obviously you didn't watch this video (among countless others). Seriously, where exactly does he "blame the deck" here? Come off it.
The exodia matchup I think is pretty good. The main thing they struggle with is when you clog their hand.
Skipperino Trumperino: 1:02
PantherGaming I feel second hand embarrassment for you after reading your endeavor to be funny. Yeesh.
I saw Dog beat an exodia mage by having so much armor that the mage couldnt kill him before the timer ran out.
I miss watching you play this deck
"No matter how bad you play this deck you still win"
Proceeds to showcase a 1-4 deck
Nice Binding of Isaac reference. Best editor 11/10
Double arcane giants in this deck like Savjz, thoughts? I think they give you a really nice distraction so you can get into that deep fatigue against control decks. Sometimes I get like six of them and they end up winning the game.
I love being able to play control warrior again
The intro gets me every time
5:44 Wait I dont understand. What does Bring it on and the 2nd Arcane Giant have to do with anything?
Trump the Master of new decks.
Teach me senpai
You completed the "beat down" quest in one game.
1:10 that fucking jumpscare
Thank you for not being greedy and only adding 1 commercial other tubers would have like 5 for a 26min clip
@22:30 Why not use Hero Power? It can block one damage from Jaina's Hero Power.
Def Piep that hero power is not giving u 2 armor..
Just imagine he used Whirlwind against the water elementals. What would Jaina do? I never said it'd give armor but indirectly it would save armor (and just one point, not two).
Def Piep oh yeah you are right but maybe he want them to be damaged for execute or idk 🤔
You always want a coldlight in your deck, to get you the draws and to fatigue your opponent faster.
That whirlwind sound wtf made me laugh so hard
The Binding of Trump: Valuebirth
title should be "no matter how well you play this deck you still lose"
Dead man's hand doubles his cards
Holding a Jera rune
I like it!
haha. the infinite hand and then the BOI chest blank card jera reference.
Dang it, all those slay the spire videos have me thinking armor wears off at the start of turn.
You can beat exodia mage you just need ~108 health, 3 or more armor smiths and whirlwind effects can get you there
I love when people play something other than the cookie-cutter decks, or even better something that is considered weak
The moment when you make your opponent burn his frostlitch jayna with your cold lite oricall and he conseds
That scream at the start made me jump xD
Jera + Blank Card. Nice one Jens.
This deck could use 2x Arcane Giants and that spell that copies to your hand all your injured minions.
Man, look how fun ad interactive Hearthstone is.
5:30 --I don't understand why the arcane giant would cost more, could somebody explain to me?
14:03 *Wastes a Blood Razor instead of just using the Whirlwind card in his hand*
I didn't get it. Why didn't he play the 2nd arcane giant at 5:33?
22:10 chat said to get rid of battle rage FailFish
The way to play this deck is to just keep cycling a card that draws at least 2 cards per turn (cold light, battle rage + minion etc). That way you get infinite cards and often infinite removal / armor.
Imagine if we lived in a meta slow enough to make Highlander dead man's hand playable with infinite kazakus :o
Actually, Dog was able to beat Exodia Mage by getting four Armorsmiths and comboing off
It's funny how as soon as trump plays a deck everyone starts playing it.
For example Mid-range paladin, zoo warlock, mid-range hunter, and now grind mage. And next probably this deck hes playing now. And before you throw a fit, yes I know trump didnt make these decks first but he did popularize them.
I faced this deck without knowing it existed yet... *AND WON* ... granted I'm know planning for it as I see alot now that this video exists....
FeelsDeadMan('s hand)
I'm confused by the interaction by 5:38 with Arcane Giant and Bring it On!
I did not understand the interaction @ 5:34 with arcane giant and bring it on, can someone please explain?
My brain exploded, complicated stuff...
1:10 almost killed me!
