I couldn’t believe the missed opportunity of Jill revisiting the STARS office, and how they could’ve used that as a moment of exposition to really add to her character. Also; the graveyard, and especially the clock tower being omitted from the game was pretty unbelievable. That being said, the narrative is put together really well. It’s more cinematic that RE2R, as it never really slows down. Great soundtrack as well, compared to RE2R’s soundtrack. Some points were total misses, but the parts that hit were excellent. The price point was unforgivable, however. Completely agree with most people there. Paying full price for it’s predecessor got you a solid 6-9 hour game, two scenarios, playable side stories; and RE3R gave you a 3 hour game + online multiplayer no one asked for or played, and no expanded side stories or Mercenaries. I’d feel cheated as well if I paid full price. I still think Capcom should do something about it.
As a RE fan 1996, I enjoyed playing RE3 remaster. Yes, it was missing areas from the original RE3 but I still enjoy it. In the end of the day, is about what YOU like. NOT what other's like.
this game gave so much replay value, and although all the cut content is sorely missed..what we did get was still pretty fun..and the extra modes like inferno mode was super fun to try and beat...it may not beat the OG RE3 but its still a great game to go back and speed run
I think the argument for not liking remake 3 is pretty valid. Now, saying it was too short without additional content or a legitimate reason then, it doesn’t help build up your case. If you say something where there isn’t a player ability to fully free-roam without limitations unlike remake 2 then ok. But I did wish there was more Capcom would’ve added to make the city more difficult to play: like adding areas or even areas we didn’t get in the original
Man I remember when I saw the previews of the game before it came out and really thought there would be more civilians running around and more chaos. Would’ve loved to see that. The game started out great! I loved the energy in the beginning. Would’ve loved more of the city in the game. Btw it’s probably still my favorite to play of all the remakes next to the first remake.
I definitely cared about the gravedigger as he was my first video game boss ever. The thing I missed the most is the live selection. There are many things, but that’s what I miss the most

Great video. Back when this game came out i let others opinions of the game become mine which was dumb and i ended up hating it and just agreeing with the negativity. But i replayed it in 2022 and went into it without the negative opinions and i enjoyed the game and had fun with it. It does have flaws like i hate the lack of costumes mainly for Carlos and i think the game could have been a hour or 2 longer but its a fun game. I couldn't really get into the original though since the fixed camera angles i couldn't really get into nowadays but i get the criticism of things missing from the remake from the original
Here is my take on this. There are two types of people. There's people who have nostalgic attachment towards the original re3, and then there are people who never really played the og re3 and have no attachments. If you helong to the first group, you will not like 3make. But if you belong to the 2nd group, then you will likely have enjoyed it for what it is, and it's probably a great fun game for the 2nd group with nice replay value

Honestly I like it for what it is. I played the original when it came out, and that was my favorite RE in the series for some time. But i watched a video where someone got ahold of the roadmap and plan of the game from capcom leaks.
Resident Evil 3 has one of best stories in the entire franchise. Just appreciate the fact that we got a remake. I remember watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse in the theater back in 2004. I never thought I would see anything related to RE3 ever again until the remake came out in 2020. This is what I missed the most in RE3 remake. In the RE2 remake there is a gas station section. Ironically they didn’t have that in RE3 remake. Jill solves a puzzle their and there are a few cut scenes. And not only that along with other things like the dead factory, but RE: Village had a factory section instead of using something like that in RE3. But all in all the remake still holds up pretty well 4 years later. The monsters are really well designed and the hunters are fun to fight in the hospital. It’s also a very good looking game with great graphics and level design.
You can feel however you want about the game. You can like it, love it, hate it. Whatever. But at the end of the day, Capcom themselves said that the game was just too short. Even compared to Resident Evil 2 Remake. That's the whole reason they bundled Project Resistance. Those of us who felt we were ripped off for paying full price? Capcom themselves vindicated us. There's about 1 or 2 articles you can find, one from Siliconera and one from TheGamer that features interviews and comments made by the games' producers that say as much. I'd link them here, but every time I do, my comment gets hidden or deleted. I was so excited for Re3R when it was announced and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. That excitement soured pretty damn fast. I avoided discussions on the game, spoilers, and all that until i got my hands on the game and started playing myself. Couldn't resell it to anyone, cause all my friends knew the game was trash. Couldn't get a refund, cause I bought it for ps4, and stores will only give you an exact copy of the same game if you return it, so I was stuck with a $60 dollar disappointment. Figured that was at least the worst part of it, right? No! 3 months later, they put the game on Steam Summer Sale for 45% off! Made it a roughly $40 dollar game. Still too much, but probably what the damn thing should have been MSRP'd at to start with! Because of this bullshit, I've not bothered with village or Re4R. I don't care how good they are. I refuse to give them any more than the barest minimum for their titles moving forward.
To each their own brotha. Never removed or hid any comments of yours by the way. At least we have classic titles we can always go back to and cherish especially if you feel that bad about the franchise.

RE2R to me was a slight disappointment not having a clear a and b scenario with out zapping. The story weirdly told some and no one complains about that. What I will say RE4R is about as close to to perfect as you can get. I mean as good as RE1R which is the definition of the perfect remake.

@@Ma121Hunter RE2 remake is not longer than RE3 remake *story-wise* though. It just has a slightly longer playtime only because you spend 6-7 hours searching for door keys. That's the reason why 90% of RE2 takes place in one single building.
I am a mediocre gamer and I do not find Mr X to be too much. The most anxiety inducing part of that game was trying not to make too much noise and alert him to my location. It was fantastic and an added challenge.
When I first played it on release I just enjoyed it, my highlight was in the soundtrack on the empty street that leads to kendos you hear a musical flourish arcing back to the re 96' main mansion theme. It's very subtle and easy to miss but watch out for that on your next play through 😊
5:08 Those people complaining about mr. X were people who were new to the resident evil series. Capcom shouldn't have listened to them, because these new kids get easily annoyed over the dumbest things. Mr. X stalking us was great.
I didn't like Jack Baker popping up all the time in Re7. Sure, first few times were scary, but after an hour of him, it became more an annoyance than anything else. Not every game needs a "pursuer" type enemy.

About the length of remake3... The day the game released I waited up till midnight to play it as i had to go to work thay day and I was able to finish it around the time I had to go to work whilst taking my time looking around, as well as being able to start and get through the beginning part of a new game. I did the same thing for separate ways because again I had to work and by the last chapter I wasn't looking around and just trying to speed beat it because I didn't have enough time. So the fact that a dlc had more to it than a full priced mainline game blows my mind. Ps I still really enjoy remake3 but I'm not going to lie to myself that it definitely got the short end of the stick especially compared to remake2 + 4 and also remake2 did not get a pass for all the cut content e.i spiders and that, it wasn't as bad I'm guessing because for the most part it was more faithful so people more easily forgave it but it definitely got hate for the cut content
I enjoyed it but understood the dislike. Then I went and played the original. Both fun and good games for different reasons. I stopped side by side comparisons for my sanity.
One thing price was definitely an issue. I still think game length is still a valid complaint. Mind you i dont emulate or have a system to play the OGs so i remember them either through memory from when i was much younger and played them or your playthroughs. However my first playthrough of Remake 2 was around 9 hours. I took my time and did what i wanted and explored. My first playthrough of Threemake was 4 hours and 12 minutes. A 5 hour difference. Yes they can be beaten within the same amount of time... after repeated playthroughs. I cant beat them in 45 minutes the day i bought it. My 60 bucks was appreciative of the 9 or more hours on 2. It wasnt on the 4 hours of 3. 2 isn't perfect either, but at least the way the game was structured gave me a MUCH more fulfilling first playthrough than 3 did. I do agree the Threemake isnt a bad game though.
the focus went to RE2R and RE4R... this is problem with splitting resources to try and maximize profits by making multiple games at the same time... i didn't mind RE3R that much until i played RE4R and saw how faithful it was to the original... they can and have done better... we deserve a director’s cut or gold edition that finishes RE3R this is coming from someone who enjoyed RE3R enough to platinum it ❤

I really enjoyed RE3R from my initial playthrough back at launch in 2020. It's really unfortunate how much hate it has gotten. Ant made some excellent comparisons to RE2R for game length and cut content. However, I would have dearly liked to seen Jill at the RPD instead of Carlos. That was a large missed opportunity & mistake. In the end, RE3R is a great entry in the remake series, I recently replayed it & will continue to do so down the road.
It's unfortunate, but at the same time...justified. This was my favorite re game of the og trilogy. I and many og re fans had been waiting many,many years for the remake of this game. This game could have easily been one of the best re remakes but, sadly we got a hollowed out experience from it's original 1999 counterpart.
I feel very much the same way - the OG RE3 is my all time fave Resi, and the remake feels more like a reimagining. Nemesis should've appeared more and defo killed Brad! The Gravedigger has much more of a presence in the OG than the Alligator did in OG RE2 but gets cut? The Clocktower and Park should've been remade too as they were such iconic parts of RE3 OG. Despite all this, I still enjoy the game, and RE2R is just as guilty of cut content!
I feel the RE3 R should have cost $39.99, and RE Resistance should be $19.99, and give players the chance to decide whether they wanted to buy the bundle for $59.99, or individually. The cut content still hurts, the could've worked on some kind of DLC or something.
RE3R was my 1st ever proper collector's edition and despite its flaws it is still very fun. The og RE3 is my favorite out of the trilogy so my expectation was super high before this game released but it what it is~ I am still hoping for a director's cut and it would be a full cycle if it did release this year since 3 2020 games have also made a return this year (TLOU 2, FFVR, and GoT) so yeah, HOPIUM 🙃😭✊🏻 It's also sad that majority of the RE fans are hypocrites and blatantly throws out unnecessary hatred and "opinions". I agree with 90% of what you've said, but can't agree on the clocktower. Reason being what do you do there: grab 2 cogs combine them. Grab 2 keys combine them. Grab 3 metal balls move them around. Look if you like keys balls and cogs more power to you but not in an RE game please. IF you want to read the clocktower use it to slow the game down a bit for some character development and give us a nemesis type 2 fight because that's what the game ACTUALLY needs
Are you serious? What you just described is literally the classic RE game loop, of grabbing items and combining them to open/unlock other things. This was present in RE2R throughout the entire game. It's the classic puzzle formula that RE fans love and one of the reasons people wanted the Clock Tower in the game.

@@lukemurphy2807 It's not about agreeing or disagreeing with anything, when I told you a fact that you can easily check by playing the original trilogy. In fact, not only is that gameplay loop design a core element of Resident Evil, but Capcom brought it back in RE4, which didn't have it in the original game.
I think RE3 was a really hard game to reimagine. There were so many classic moments that were either cut or neglected. The remake wasn't my favorite, I think RE2 was done better even though that game had issues too. Despite this, I will say the performances in RE3 remake are phenomenal. Jeff Schine literally killed it as Carlos and really stole the game. I appreciate that the other characters were just as awesome in the remake. But Nemesis being nerfed hurt the experience and I found it a little too short.
I love RE 3 Remake. I have never Played Re 1-3 so i am not attached to the older games. Yea i have every single RE from Zero to Village for the PS4 and have only ever finished RE 3 Remake, RE 4 and it's Remake aswell. Then Village! RE 2 Remake is kicking my ass so i have never finished it. Same with 5,6 and 7! I only play for fun. I am not a hardcore RE gamer.
I got 2 and 3 remake as a bundle for $30 or $40. I absolutely loved both of them. I love the originals too. But I totally understand peoples anger if they bought 3 at launch. While I don't think it's a bad game by any means I do find a lot of people's complaints about the clocktower missing and the city being so much smaller completely valid. The game isn't shit though.
I had a bit of an opposite experience with RE3 remake. At the time, I did hate it after playing it first time around and over time I did like it for what it is. Of course, that was because I haven’t played the original due to how hard it is to find copies since I was a kid. I recently manage to pick up re3 original and played it religiously since January of this year. Yeah, that game just made me hate RE3R even more than the first time around. I just couldn’t believe how Capcom gave this game to an incompetent team that knew nothing about the original. As I played the original, I kept on thinking how they messed up the remake.
What makes it worse is that they they created the best characters of any RE game in 3 remake in my opinion and then cut important content and ruined nemesis. I enjoyed the game for what it was and have replayed it a few times since but for me it goes down in history as the biggest missed opportunity in videogame history. Original 3 is my favorite RE of all time so my expectations are probably higher than most others.
Reason why re2 remake doesn't get any flac is because I didn't feel cheated it can be beat quickly if you know what to do and speed run through it there is more exploring in there as to re3 remake is more linear leaving exploring out of it and that's part of why it feels empty along with the cut content from the original
As someone who didn't play the original but played RE2Make and went straight into RE3Make, RE3Make is undeniably short.. On first playthrough, it took me almost 17 hours to beat RE2Make. first playthough of RE3Make took me almost 6 hours. Now you can say what you want about the quality of the game (still enjoyed those 6 hours) but it was short and didn't meet that standard of RE2Make as something you pay the same price for. It SHOULD have been a DLC and it's almost a rip-off Capcom made us pay full price for it. Bottom line, RE3Make is an okay game, but they should've made it a DLC to 2 or even just make it cheaper and I think that is the main issue with the game and what holds a lot of people back (myself included) from saying it's a good AAA game.
Resident Evil 3 Remake is a very good game. But it could have been a definitive classic. That's the main issue. As you mentioned, the cut content was the main problem. I really wanted much more of the city...with fewer scripted Nemesis scenes and more unscripted scenes. We only got one time in the entire game where he chases you in an unscripted way. And I wanted the clock tower in particular. When playing, basically, the game is fantastic until you get on the bridge to cross the river. You see the clock tower and you see more city on the other side, and you think about all of the possibilities. But then Nemesis transforms into his doggy form and you never go in the clock tower. And to add insult to injury, that same exact boss fight happens later on in the game, just with a different backdrop. That really shows how there was less effort put into it. What there is is some of the best of Resident Evil of all time. The criticism comes less from anything bad in the game itself, but rather from the good that is not in the game but should have been added.
When and where did they complain about Mr X. The complaints were that Nemesis wasn't like X enough. And they said 8 was made to be less scary compared to 7.

I will say this, the original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis was designed by an underdog team of Developers and as poetic as it is that the remake would be handed off to yet another Underdog team of Developers it's unfortunate that this time around they had Source material to work with but because Capcom views Resident Evil 3 nemesis as a flawed broken game because of audience reception, nevermind the fact the RE3N scored just as well and in some cases BETTER than RE2, it has always been seen as the Red-Headed Step Zombie of the family, because of the negative fan reception, they took the opportunity this time around to fix what they considered "broken". Not realizing had they taken the time to step back and pull their heads out of their ass they could have looked at this game with a much more clearer view
If they charged 30-40 for it I probably would have liked it a lot more but when I payed 90-ish dollars after tax it feels like I got scammed more than re2r. I was disappointed in most of the cut content there too.
Man smh when 3 remake came out i remember feeling empty. Ive waited for so long for a 3 remake and just imagining how awesome it would be to experience it and when i played it, it was nothing like what i imagined. So disappointed, so left out. Its not a bad game but its not what i wanted and they just cut out so much. I can't go back to that game cause i just feel like im not playing a real game, it feels like a joke
I'll say this, 3 remake should have been given more care. The idea of 2 and 3 being made the same time I think was a foolish move. Nemesis in this version scared the crap outta me. I loved the thrill, I wanted the pressure and the reward. He was terrifying, he makes Mr.X look like a choir boy. Mr.X wasn't as bad as people made him when you got him down. Still love the thrill of avoiding him, but Nemesis was meant to punish the players who schooled Mr.X. I was mad that the famous tentacle death was omitted. But sweet Jesus it was a rush when he shows up. 3 remake though does have recovering merits. I'm on board with you. The story and characters was improved alot. Loved the story more while still respecting the original. There are elements of getting faster and good at the game. All the unlocks added benefits either break the game or add some tweaks I enjoyed. I expected it to be quicker not just by design, but from experience playing it over time. 3 to me was fast paced horror with slow burn in some places. While 2 was a slow burn, gradual thrills from the first game with added fast pace in sections. Like I said, more care should have been made. Nemesis was meant to either make the player or break them after graduating from Re2. Inferno mode was a rude but welcomed awakening. But holy hell that should've been added as a free update to Re2 just for pure torture and amusement. I enjoyed it, a flawed but fun title with welcomed changes. I still prefer the original 3, but the story changes, character updates and needed improvement got me to appreciate how nuts both games can get. I'm more annoyed at 2's second scenario being botched more so than 3 as a whole. No joke, give me a pissed off Nemesis and a proper thrashing while Mr.X takes notes. My opinion hasn't changed, but like I said, add Inferno mode to 2 and 1 and that'll make people run for the hills.
To me Nemesis was the biggest letdown in this game. I was looking forward to him being like Mr X except he runs and he barely appears. I blame them fake casual RE fans who can’t handle survival horror 🙄🙄
I dont care i love it. It has some flaws but people overblow how much of a problem it all is so hard. Alot of the problems i personally have with the game isnt even stuff i ever hear anyone talk about. But i loved the game i got a ton of replayability out of it which its shorter length actually helped with cause i can just jump on and easily beat it in like a few hours. I was even able to do a decent speedrun for once. If i wanna beat re2 and really fully beat it doing atleast one set of A/B scenarios it will take like a full day. So even in the "its short" complaints there are pros and cons to it its not just an objective awful thing. I actually got some good out of not having like an overwhelming amount of length and alternate scenarios out of it. I also loved nenesis. Sure i would prefer if he was more of a pursuer like mr x, at the same time his scripted areas are incredible. The game also has the best opening i think of any resident evil ever. From the moment the game starts up to meeting carlos was incredible. But instead of acknowledging those incredible additions people are just like "oh no gravedigger, no clocktower, etc" like why is there never any appreciation for whats ACTUALLY THERE? Theres plenty im disappointed about with the game but i still loved what was there and dont see the big deal at all. And thats the thing about it too im right there with alot of these people with their complaints, but im not ignoring everything good about it and acting like the whole game is garbage for it. Thats the difference. People need to learn how to be disappointed in healthier ways and learn that just cause theres some things you dont like doesnt mean you now have to ignore every single thing that was actually good about it. Overall i absolutely loved the game. And even in saying that people will throw a fit and say "but this this and that" as if i dont know and even agree. Im simply not letting those issues define the entire experience for me and letting myself still enjoy it and more people should try it. The hate was so ridiculously overblown.
I always thought that if they made nemesis way more dangerous and fearsome, and implemented the sneaking mechanics from re4 remake and re2 remake (Sherry's section) and made it a big feature of the gameplay in re3 remake, would have made this game a lot better and a lot longer. Imagine all the same areas but nemesis is hunting you and you're trying to sneak around the environments and avoid him seeing you, while also trying to dispatch other enemies, which only attracts him to you. Could have been cooler, more challenging IMO. That said, I did really enjoy it but it wasn't the remake 3 deserved.
Nah I still like it… and honestly I find myself going back to that one more because I know I can beat it under 2 hours real quick or if I have time I run thru RE2 and RE3 back to back…. I thought the replay ability was good with the addition with the in game store and obviously capcom liked it as well cuz they added it in village and RE4… I just wish we got more costumes that would’ve really made the replays ability much greater than what it already was. I think the original RE3 had like 10 costumes. Just my options if we saw Jill in a Dino crisis skin like the original would be amazing
My thoughts on 3make haven't changed since release; It is a good game and I definitely have had fun with it on multiple play-throughs, but it is a bad "remake" and the cuts are extremely disappointing. They absolutely nerfed my boy Nemesis. I also think Jill should have been the one to go to the RPD like the original. What's done is done. I can still enjoy it and likely will yet again one day, but I will always feel the absence of what they changed or cut.
After I beat the game I was left feeling angry for a lot of reasons mainly to do with the game. Jills chatacter sucks to me I didn't like her in remake, they cut the clock tower, choice options for vwhen you encounter nemi, mercnaries, and enhanced ammo. Nemesis is extremely boring feeling really scripted. The game overall for me felt really mid for what it offers. RE3 OG is better. The game has to many negatives for me I was hoping the game would have been better than RE2 Remake.

Honestly the original had the same issues the remake has, the level design has always been screwed up, it was an issue both the original and the remake had and in order for it to change capcom would have to rethink the game from the ground up which based off of the budget they probably didn't want to bother doing that. I think resident evil 3 was good, but RE3 even back then had problems with its level design and the layout just always sucked. RE2 you where in the police station with door to door areas and different floores, and safe rooms in every area and floor LV, that game was designed around MR X, resident evil 3 however nemesis the Level design wasn't designed around him. the thing I didn't like about RE3 remake was they screwed up the knife and secondary weapon system, its was so good in RE2 remake and they screwed it up in RE3 and brought the RE2 knife system back in RE4.
Back in 2020 when RE3make released I hadn't played RE3 OG so when I played RE3make I enjoyed it quite a lot actually (no to the level of RE2make obviously). but after a while I decided to play RE3 OG and man I could finally see why many of the fans were frustrated with the cut content of RE3make and weakening Nemesis. When I was playing RE3 OG and nemesis was chasing me I swear I'd get scared like a little kid even though I was a grown ass 21 year old man! All and all I agree with you Anthony. RE3make was definitely not a disaster and I'd say it was decent but it surely missed the special love and care that RE1&2&4 remake got.
I thought RE3 Remake was a decent game but i can see why a lot of people didn't like it since it's not a remake that was like the original at all and people were comparing it to the OG RE 3 which if u play RE 3 OG and RE 3 Remake it feels like 2 totally different games, alls capom did was take some elements and enivornments from RE3 put some of them in their and even leave some areas out but then adding new areas like an extended hospital. My main gripe with it was they made Nemesis look like a sissy compared to Mr.X when thats not the case at all. When i was younger i literally got jump scares from nemesis in the original but Remake not so much, i'm not sure what went wrong with RE 3 Remake it seemed like a rushed game but it was a different team working on this compared to the RE 2 team so i just think there were some bad development decisions, if the game was developed by the Capcom A team then we would have gotten a much better remake.
Lol this vid seems like major excuses and cope for RE3R being so mid. Nemesis was changed because Mr X was "too much"??? Wtf who said that??? He was all over social media, youtubers we screaming and giggling clipping their encounters, he was called THE BEST PART by most game outlets. I dont believe Nemesis was reduced, RE3 just feels more like a streamlined "movie" experience that Capcom simply made him come in at narrative plot beats. I think they just wanted to get the game out for the fiscal year and decided the length had to be limited. I think they should have released 1 or 2 more unique scenarios for RE2R giving them more time to add to RE3 and extending the life of RE2R.
I believe re3 2020 did not get the same effort and quality as re2 2019 I also think re2 2019 had more hours put into it regardless of if they were both being worked on the same year.
The Iconic RE3 OG is my favorite RE Franchise and RE2 OG back in the day. I'm still mad of this RE3R up to this day. So much missed opportunity in the story/content. RE3R doesn't exist in my book. I hate Crapcom so much.

Definitely wasn't perfect. But definitely not a bad game when you play it for what it is. Things were cut that probably could have been made in bigger and better ways- ways that would've extended the game's length a bit more too. But I did enjoy my time with it. And it was great to see our RE waifu jill rendered in the RE engine for the first time. 😊
I played that crap resident evil 3 remake only one time and I was lucky enough that I sold it after I beat it in one day on eBay for 50 bucks. They have to do that game again.
Resident evil 4 remake made up for Resident evil 3 remake in my opinion even though it was a remake i didn't care i still crowned it my game of the year for 2023 ❤😁 and by the way i finally got around to playing the remake of shadow of the colossus have you played that game before the original or the remake either way if you haven't played Shadow of the colossus its a great game 👍 😀
Yea I was shocked by how much content the RE4 had. I was expecting an 8 hour game with 50% cut content but ended up getting an almost identical remake. Separate Ways also exceeded my expectations.
(WOW it’s been a while but here’s my take). Would I have loved to have seen things from the original come back in a bigger and more expansive way like how certain things were handled with 4?, Absolutely, however with what we got I still stand by my words that in regards to the story and certain parts of the game I still believe this surpasses RE 2 remake. Whenever I revisit the remake of 2 I’m always distracted by how incomplete the story feels and to me was a much bigger missed opportunity than 3 remake. But hey that’s just me, I still like what they did with the story and characters and even the stuff that wasn’t included is a bummer yes but it’s not worth trashing this game when it seems like the same if not more stuff wasn’t included in 2 remake. I’ll defend this remake till the day I perish, plus this remake led to something great…your guys Legacy Stream, I’ll never forget the live streams of this remake and you guys beating Inferno Nemesis without the rocket launcher was a goddamn cheer moment and it’s definitely something I’ll never forget from this channel.
Not prefect? Calling it perfect my friend is quite a literally blasphemous in any way, shape or form. It is not a bad game at all. It is a horrendous remake Though. I will die on that hill. There was so much change and so much different from the original That it just doesn't feel like it's trying to remake a classic.It's trying to change a classic. Remake 2 has some changes Some better some worse. But I didn't think it was any real different from the original. As far as local, enemies, bosses, etc. 1 or 2 things did get me, so it's not uber high on my list either. But 3 Remake? between changing story elements character death's background of the city, so much that we know from resident evil from just records from all the games.... It felt like a different entire scenario of a game. We all know what happened in raccoon city. Honestly i don't hate 3Remake, but as a remake, it failed...completely.
So much criticism for this game because it was not a triple A box office game, nor should it have been. Ragnarox had an amazing review on this game. RE3R is a masterpiece.
I absolutely hate what they did with three remake I was so excited thinking we were going to get to explore Raccoon City as a big city in a zombie apocalypse which is exactly what I wanted in the game but instead we got basically a trail with very small traces of Resident Evil sprinkled throughout like breadcrumbs. I think it's important to call a bad game a bad game because accepting mediocrity means in the future they will be more willing to make mediocre things but as long as we rightfully call bad things bad so it seems Capcom is listening to feedback which I think is part of the reason for remake is considered the greatest remake of all time I'm just glad to know that the Resident Evil franchise is doing extremely well and even if they don't hit the mark on every single game as long as they really put a lot of love and effort into it I think they will turn out great nobody's going to agree with every choice Capcom makes but as long as they keep putting out good products I'm on board but rip Resident Evil 3
The fact Nemesis shows up in 5 minutes (1 if skipping cutscenes) with zero buildup was the first warning sign.

I couldn’t believe the missed opportunity of Jill revisiting the STARS office, and how they could’ve used that as a moment of exposition to really add to her character.
Also; the graveyard, and especially the clock tower being omitted from the game was pretty unbelievable.
That being said, the narrative is put together really well. It’s more cinematic that RE2R, as it never really slows down. Great soundtrack as well, compared to RE2R’s soundtrack. Some points were total misses, but the parts that hit were excellent.
The price point was unforgivable, however. Completely agree with most people there. Paying full price for it’s predecessor got you a solid 6-9 hour game, two scenarios, playable side stories; and RE3R gave you a 3 hour game + online multiplayer no one asked for or played, and no expanded side stories or Mercenaries. I’d feel cheated as well if I paid full price. I still think Capcom should do something about it.
As a RE fan 1996, I enjoyed playing RE3 remaster. Yes, it was missing areas from the original RE3 but I still enjoy it.
In the end of the day, is about what YOU like. NOT what other's like.

this game gave so much replay value, and although all the cut content is sorely missed..what we did get was still pretty fun..and the extra modes like inferno mode was super fun to try and beat...it may not beat the OG RE3 but its still a great game to go back and speed run
I think the argument for not liking remake 3 is pretty valid. Now, saying it was too short without additional content or a legitimate reason then, it doesn’t help build up your case.
If you say something where there isn’t a player ability to fully free-roam without limitations unlike remake 2 then ok. But I did wish there was more Capcom would’ve added to make the city more difficult to play: like adding areas or even areas we didn’t get in the original
Man I remember when I saw the previews of the game before it came out and really thought there would be more civilians running around and more chaos. Would’ve loved to see that. The game started out great! I loved the energy in the beginning. Would’ve loved more of the city in the game. Btw it’s probably still my favorite to play of all the remakes next to the first remake.
I definitely cared about the gravedigger as he was my first video game boss ever. The thing I missed the most is the live selection. There are many things, but that’s what I miss the most

Great video. Back when this game came out i let others opinions of the game become mine which was dumb and i ended up hating it and just agreeing with the negativity. But i replayed it in 2022 and went into it without the negative opinions and i enjoyed the game and had fun with it. It does have flaws like i hate the lack of costumes mainly for Carlos and i think the game could have been a hour or 2 longer but its a fun game. I couldn't really get into the original though since the fixed camera angles i couldn't really get into nowadays but i get the criticism of things missing from the remake from the original
Here is my take on this. There are two types of people. There's people who have nostalgic attachment towards the original re3, and then there are people who never really played the og re3 and have no attachments. If you helong to the first group, you will not like 3make. But if you belong to the 2nd group, then you will likely have enjoyed it for what it is, and it's probably a great fun game for the 2nd group with nice replay value

Honestly I like it for what it is. I played the original when it came out, and that was my favorite RE in the series for some time. But i watched a video where someone got ahold of the roadmap and plan of the game from capcom leaks.
Resident Evil 3 has one of best stories in the entire franchise. Just appreciate the fact that we got a remake. I remember watching Resident Evil: Apocalypse in the theater back in 2004. I never thought I would see anything related to RE3 ever again until the remake came out in 2020.
This is what I missed the most in RE3 remake. In the RE2 remake there is a gas station section. Ironically they didn’t have that in RE3 remake. Jill solves a puzzle their and there are a few cut scenes. And not only that along with other things like the dead factory, but RE: Village had a factory section instead of using something like that in RE3.
But all in all the remake still holds up pretty well 4 years later. The monsters are really well designed and the hunters are fun to fight in the hospital. It’s also a very good looking game with great graphics and level design.
You can feel however you want about the game. You can like it, love it, hate it. Whatever. But at the end of the day, Capcom themselves said that the game was just too short. Even compared to Resident Evil 2 Remake. That's the whole reason they bundled Project Resistance. Those of us who felt we were ripped off for paying full price? Capcom themselves vindicated us.

I was so excited for Re3R when it was announced and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. That excitement soured pretty damn fast. I avoided discussions on the game, spoilers, and all that until i got my hands on the game and started playing myself. Couldn't resell it to anyone, cause all my friends knew the game was trash. Couldn't get a refund, cause I bought it for ps4, and stores will only give you an exact copy of the same game if you return it, so I was stuck with a $60 dollar disappointment.
Figured that was at least the worst part of it, right? No! 3 months later, they put the game on Steam Summer Sale for 45% off! Made it a roughly $40 dollar game. Still too much, but probably what the damn thing should have been MSRP'd at to start with! Because of this bullshit, I've not bothered with village or Re4R. I don't care how good they are. I refuse to give them any more than the barest minimum for their titles moving forward.
To each their own brotha. Never removed or hid any comments of yours by the way. At least we have classic titles we can always go back to and cherish especially if you feel that bad about the franchise.

RE2R to me was a slight disappointment not having a clear a and b scenario with out zapping. The story weirdly told some and no one complains about that. What I will say RE4R is about as close to to perfect as you can get. I mean as good as RE1R which is the definition of the perfect remake.

@@Ma121Hunter RE2 remake is not longer than RE3 remake *story-wise* though. It just has a slightly longer playtime only because you spend 6-7 hours searching for door keys. That's the reason why 90% of RE2 takes place in one single building.
I love re3 remake because its fast and easy to pick up and play.
I am a mediocre gamer and I do not find Mr X to be too much. The most anxiety inducing part of that game was trying not to make too much noise and alert him to my location. It was fantastic and an added challenge.
When I first played it on release I just enjoyed it, my highlight was in the soundtrack on the empty street that leads to kendos you hear a musical flourish arcing back to the re 96' main mansion theme. It's very subtle and easy to miss but watch out for that on your next play through 😊

I didn't like Jack Baker popping up all the time in Re7. Sure, first few times were scary, but after an hour of him, it became more an annoyance than anything else. Not every game needs a "pursuer" type enemy.

About the length of remake3... The day the game released I waited up till midnight to play it as i had to go to work thay day and I was able to finish it around the time I had to go to work whilst taking my time looking around, as well as being able to start and get through the beginning part of a new game. I did the same thing for separate ways because again I had to work and by the last chapter I wasn't looking around and just trying to speed beat it because I didn't have enough time. So the fact that a dlc had more to it than a full priced mainline game blows my mind. Ps I still really enjoy remake3 but I'm not going to lie to myself that it definitely got the short end of the stick especially compared to remake2 + 4 and also remake2 did not get a pass for all the cut content e.i spiders and that, it wasn't as bad I'm guessing because for the most part it was more faithful so people more easily forgave it but it definitely got hate for the cut content

I still think game length is still a valid complaint. Mind you i dont emulate or have a system to play the OGs so i remember them either through memory from when i was much younger and played them or your playthroughs.
However my first playthrough of Remake 2 was around 9 hours. I took my time and did what i wanted and explored.
My first playthrough of Threemake was 4 hours and 12 minutes.
A 5 hour difference. Yes they can be beaten within the same amount of time... after repeated playthroughs. I cant beat them in 45 minutes the day i bought it.
My 60 bucks was appreciative of the 9 or more hours on 2. It wasnt on the 4 hours of 3.
2 isn't perfect either, but at least the way the game was structured gave me a MUCH more fulfilling first playthrough than 3 did.
I do agree the Threemake isnt a bad game though.

I really enjoyed RE3R from my initial playthrough back at launch in 2020. It's really unfortunate how much hate it has gotten. Ant made some excellent comparisons to RE2R for game length and cut content. However, I would have dearly liked to seen Jill at the RPD instead of Carlos. That was a large missed opportunity & mistake. In the end, RE3R is a great entry in the remake series, I recently replayed it & will continue to do so down the road.

I waited 3 months for it to get cracked. I checked every single day. It never deserved more than a 30$ price tag at launch.
I feel very much the same way - the OG RE3 is my all time fave Resi, and the remake feels more like a reimagining. Nemesis should've appeared more and defo killed Brad! The Gravedigger has much more of a presence in the OG than the Alligator did in OG RE2 but gets cut? The Clocktower and Park should've been remade too as they were such iconic parts of RE3 OG. Despite all this, I still enjoy the game, and RE2R is just as guilty of cut content!
I feel the RE3 R should have cost $39.99, and RE Resistance should be $19.99, and give players the chance to decide whether they wanted to buy the bundle for $59.99, or individually.
The cut content still hurts, the could've worked on some kind of DLC or something.
RE3R was my 1st ever proper collector's edition and despite its flaws it is still very fun. The og RE3 is my favorite out of the trilogy so my expectation was super high before this game released but it what it is~ I am still hoping for a director's cut and it would be a full cycle if it did release this year since 3 2020 games have also made a return this year (TLOU 2, FFVR, and GoT) so yeah, HOPIUM 🙃😭✊🏻

I agree with 90% of what you've said, but can't agree on the clocktower. Reason being what do you do there: grab 2 cogs combine them. Grab 2 keys combine them. Grab 3 metal balls move them around. Look if you like keys balls and cogs more power to you but not in an RE game please. IF you want to read the clocktower use it to slow the game down a bit for some character development and give us a nemesis type 2 fight because that's what the game ACTUALLY needs

What you just described is literally the classic RE game loop, of grabbing items and combining them to open/unlock other things. This was present in RE2R throughout the entire game.
It's the classic puzzle formula that RE fans love and one of the reasons people wanted the Clock Tower in the game.

In fact, not only is that gameplay loop design a core element of Resident Evil, but Capcom brought it back in RE4, which didn't have it in the original game.

I think RE3 was a really hard game to reimagine. There were so many classic moments that were either cut or neglected. The remake wasn't my favorite, I think RE2 was done better even though that game had issues too. Despite this, I will say the performances in RE3 remake are phenomenal. Jeff Schine literally killed it as Carlos and really stole the game. I appreciate that the other characters were just as awesome in the remake. But Nemesis being nerfed hurt the experience and I found it a little too short.
Re3 remake on Nightmare makes the game 10 times better
I love RE 3 Remake. I have never Played Re 1-3 so i am not attached to the older games. Yea i have every single RE from Zero to Village for the PS4 and have only ever finished RE 3 Remake, RE 4 and it's Remake aswell. Then Village! RE 2 Remake is kicking my ass so i have never finished it. Same with 5,6 and 7! I only play for fun. I am not a hardcore RE gamer.

I got 2 and 3 remake as a bundle for $30 or $40. I absolutely loved both of them. I love the originals too. But I totally understand peoples anger if they bought 3 at launch. While I don't think it's a bad game by any means I do find a lot of people's complaints about the clocktower missing and the city being so much smaller completely valid. The game isn't shit though.

I had a bit of an opposite experience with RE3 remake. At the time, I did hate it after playing it first time around and over time I did like it for what it is. Of course, that was because I haven’t played the original due to how hard it is to find copies since I was a kid. I recently manage to pick up re3 original and played it religiously since January of this year. Yeah, that game just made me hate RE3R even more than the first time around. I just couldn’t believe how Capcom gave this game to an incompetent team that knew nothing about the original. As I played the original, I kept on thinking how they messed up the remake.
What makes it worse is that they they created the best characters of any RE game in 3 remake in my opinion and then cut important content and ruined nemesis.
I enjoyed the game for what it was and have replayed it a few times since but for me it goes down in history as the biggest missed opportunity in videogame history.
Original 3 is my favorite RE of all time so my expectations are probably higher than most others.
Reason why re2 remake doesn't get any flac is because I didn't feel cheated it can be beat quickly if you know what to do and speed run through it there is more exploring in there as to re3 remake is more linear leaving exploring out of it and that's part of why it feels empty along with the cut content from the original
As someone who didn't play the original but played RE2Make and went straight into RE3Make, RE3Make is undeniably short.. On first playthrough, it took me almost 17 hours to beat RE2Make. first playthough of RE3Make took me almost 6 hours. Now you can say what you want about the quality of the game (still enjoyed those 6 hours) but it was short and didn't meet that standard of RE2Make as something you pay the same price for. It SHOULD have been a DLC and it's almost a rip-off Capcom made us pay full price for it.
Bottom line, RE3Make is an okay game, but they should've made it a DLC to 2 or even just make it cheaper and I think that is the main issue with the game and what holds a lot of people back (myself included) from saying it's a good AAA game.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is a very good game. But it could have been a definitive classic. That's the main issue. As you mentioned, the cut content was the main problem. I really wanted much more of the city...with fewer scripted Nemesis scenes and more unscripted scenes. We only got one time in the entire game where he chases you in an unscripted way. And I wanted the clock tower in particular. When playing, basically, the game is fantastic until you get on the bridge to cross the river. You see the clock tower and you see more city on the other side, and you think about all of the possibilities. But then Nemesis transforms into his doggy form and you never go in the clock tower. And to add insult to injury, that same exact boss fight happens later on in the game, just with a different backdrop. That really shows how there was less effort put into it. What there is is some of the best of Resident Evil of all time. The criticism comes less from anything bad in the game itself, but rather from the good that is not in the game but should have been added.
When and where did they complain about Mr X. The complaints were that Nemesis wasn't like X enough. And they said 8 was made to be less scary compared to 7.

I will say this, the original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis was designed by an underdog team of Developers and as poetic as it is that the remake would be handed off to yet another Underdog team of Developers it's unfortunate that this time around they had Source material to work with but because Capcom views Resident Evil 3 nemesis as a flawed broken game because of audience reception, nevermind the fact the RE3N scored just as well and in some cases BETTER than RE2, it has always been seen as the Red-Headed Step Zombie of the family, because of the negative fan reception, they took the opportunity this time around to fix what they considered "broken". Not realizing had they taken the time to step back and pull their heads out of their ass they could have looked at this game with a much more clearer view

I'll say this, 3 remake should have been given more care. The idea of 2 and 3 being made the same time I think was a foolish move.
Nemesis in this version scared the crap outta me. I loved the thrill, I wanted the pressure and the reward. He was terrifying, he makes Mr.X look like a choir boy. Mr.X wasn't as bad as people made him when you got him down. Still love the thrill of avoiding him, but Nemesis was meant to punish the players who schooled Mr.X. I was mad that the famous tentacle death was omitted. But sweet Jesus it was a rush when he shows up.
3 remake though does have recovering merits. I'm on board with you. The story and characters was improved alot. Loved the story more while still respecting the original.
There are elements of getting faster and good at the game. All the unlocks added benefits either break the game or add some tweaks I enjoyed. I expected it to be quicker not just by design, but from experience playing it over time.
3 to me was fast paced horror with slow burn in some places. While 2 was a slow burn, gradual thrills from the first game with added fast pace in sections.
Like I said, more care should have been made. Nemesis was meant to either make the player or break them after graduating from Re2.
Inferno mode was a rude but welcomed awakening. But holy hell that should've been added as a free update to Re2 just for pure torture and amusement.
I enjoyed it, a flawed but fun title with welcomed changes. I still prefer the original 3, but the story changes, character updates and needed improvement got me to appreciate how nuts both games can get.
I'm more annoyed at 2's second scenario being botched more so than 3 as a whole. No joke, give me a pissed off Nemesis and a proper thrashing while Mr.X takes notes.
My opinion hasn't changed, but like I said, add Inferno mode to 2 and 1 and that'll make people run for the hills.
its bad because its too linear and too short. Its very scripted and feels like you re just going through cut scenes.
To me Nemesis was the biggest letdown in this game. I was looking forward to him being like Mr X except he runs and he barely appears. I blame them fake casual RE fans who can’t handle survival horror 🙄🙄
I dont care i love it. It has some flaws but people overblow how much of a problem it all is so hard. Alot of the problems i personally have with the game isnt even stuff i ever hear anyone talk about. But i loved the game i got a ton of replayability out of it which its shorter length actually helped with cause i can just jump on and easily beat it in like a few hours. I was even able to do a decent speedrun for once. If i wanna beat re2 and really fully beat it doing atleast one set of A/B scenarios it will take like a full day. So even in the "its short" complaints there are pros and cons to it its not just an objective awful thing. I actually got some good out of not having like an overwhelming amount of length and alternate scenarios out of it. I also loved nenesis. Sure i would prefer if he was more of a pursuer like mr x, at the same time his scripted areas are incredible. The game also has the best opening i think of any resident evil ever. From the moment the game starts up to meeting carlos was incredible. But instead of acknowledging those incredible additions people are just like "oh no gravedigger, no clocktower, etc" like why is there never any appreciation for whats ACTUALLY THERE?
Theres plenty im disappointed about with the game but i still loved what was there and dont see the big deal at all. And thats the thing about it too im right there with alot of these people with their complaints, but im not ignoring everything good about it and acting like the whole game is garbage for it. Thats the difference. People need to learn how to be disappointed in healthier ways and learn that just cause theres some things you dont like doesnt mean you now have to ignore every single thing that was actually good about it. Overall i absolutely loved the game. And even in saying that people will throw a fit and say "but this this and that" as if i dont know and even agree. Im simply not letting those issues define the entire experience for me and letting myself still enjoy it and more people should try it. The hate was so ridiculously overblown.

I always thought that if they made nemesis way more dangerous and fearsome, and implemented the sneaking mechanics from re4 remake and re2 remake (Sherry's section) and made it a big feature of the gameplay in re3 remake, would have made this game a lot better and a lot longer. Imagine all the same areas but nemesis is hunting you and you're trying to sneak around the environments and avoid him seeing you, while also trying to dispatch other enemies, which only attracts him to you. Could have been cooler, more challenging IMO. That said, I did really enjoy it but it wasn't the remake 3 deserved.
Nah I still like it… and honestly I find myself going back to that one more because I know I can beat it under 2 hours real quick or if I have time I run thru RE2 and RE3 back to back…. I thought the replay ability was good with the addition with the in game store and obviously capcom liked it as well cuz they added it in village and RE4… I just wish we got more costumes that would’ve really made the replays ability much greater than what it already was. I think the original RE3 had like 10 costumes. Just my options if we saw Jill in a Dino crisis skin like the original would be amazing
My thoughts on 3make haven't changed since release; It is a good game and I definitely have had fun with it on multiple play-throughs, but it is a bad "remake" and the cuts are extremely disappointing. They absolutely nerfed my boy Nemesis. I also think Jill should have been the one to go to the RPD like the original. What's done is done. I can still enjoy it and likely will yet again one day, but I will always feel the absence of what they changed or cut.
After I beat the game I was left feeling angry for a lot of reasons mainly to do with the game. Jills chatacter sucks to me I didn't like her in remake, they cut the clock tower, choice options for vwhen you encounter nemi, mercnaries, and enhanced ammo. Nemesis is extremely boring feeling really scripted. The game overall for me felt really mid for what it offers. RE3 OG is better. The game has to many negatives for me I was hoping the game would have been better than RE2 Remake.

Honestly the original had the same issues the remake has, the level design has always been screwed up, it was an issue both the original and the remake had and in order for it to change capcom would have to rethink the game from the ground up which based off of the budget they probably didn't want to bother doing that. I think resident evil 3 was good, but RE3 even back then had problems with its level design and the layout just always sucked. RE2 you where in the police station with door to door areas and different floores, and safe rooms in every area and floor LV, that game was designed around MR X, resident evil 3 however nemesis the Level design wasn't designed around him. the thing I didn't like about RE3 remake was they screwed up the knife and secondary weapon system, its was so good in RE2 remake and they screwed it up in RE3 and brought the RE2 knife system back in RE4.
Back in 2020 when RE3make released I hadn't played RE3 OG so when I played RE3make I enjoyed it quite a lot actually (no to the level of RE2make obviously). but after a while I decided to play RE3 OG and man I could finally see why many of the fans were frustrated with the cut content of RE3make and weakening Nemesis. When I was playing RE3 OG and nemesis was chasing me I swear I'd get scared like a little kid even though I was a grown ass 21 year old man! All and all I agree with you Anthony. RE3make was definitely not a disaster and I'd say it was decent but it surely missed the special love and care that RE1&2&4 remake got.

I thought RE3 Remake was a decent game but i can see why a lot of people didn't like it since it's not a remake that was like the original at all and people were comparing it to the OG RE 3 which if u play RE 3 OG and RE 3 Remake it feels like 2 totally different games, alls capom did was take some elements and enivornments from RE3 put some of them in their and even leave some areas out but then adding new areas like an extended hospital. My main gripe with it was they made Nemesis look like a sissy compared to Mr.X when thats not the case at all. When i was younger i literally got jump scares from nemesis in the original but Remake not so much, i'm not sure what went wrong with RE 3 Remake it seemed like a rushed game but it was a different team working on this compared to the RE 2 team so i just think there were some bad development decisions, if the game was developed by the Capcom A team then we would have gotten a much better remake.
The game is only fun mechanically bc they had 28 years to perfect it. I can’t personally recommend the game. I’d recommend 6 over it

Lol this vid seems like major excuses and cope for RE3R being so mid. Nemesis was changed because Mr X was "too much"??? Wtf who said that??? He was all over social media, youtubers we screaming and giggling clipping their encounters, he was called THE BEST PART by most game outlets. I dont believe Nemesis was reduced, RE3 just feels more like a streamlined "movie" experience that Capcom simply made him come in at narrative plot beats. I think they just wanted to get the game out for the fiscal year and decided the length had to be limited. I think they should have released 1 or 2 more unique scenarios for RE2R giving them more time to add to RE3 and extending the life of RE2R.

I believe re3 2020 did not get the same effort and quality as re2 2019 I also think re2 2019 had more hours put into it regardless of if they were both being worked on the same year.
The Iconic RE3 OG is my favorite RE Franchise and RE2 OG back in the day. I'm still mad of this RE3R up to this day. So much missed opportunity in the story/content. RE3R doesn't exist in my book. I hate Crapcom so much.

Definitely wasn't perfect. But definitely not a bad game when you play it for what it is. Things were cut that probably could have been made in bigger and better ways- ways that would've extended the game's length a bit more too. But I did enjoy my time with it. And it was great to see our RE waifu jill rendered in the RE engine for the first time. 😊
I prefer the originals to 2&3 remakes as well. I think 2 remake is overrated and besides RE4 RE3 is my next favorite in the franchise.

Resident evil 4 remake made up for Resident evil 3 remake in my opinion even though it was a remake i didn't care i still crowned it my game of the year for 2023 ❤😁 and by the way i finally got around to playing the remake of shadow of the colossus have you played that game before the original or the remake either way if you haven't played Shadow of the colossus its a great game 👍 😀
Yea I was shocked by how much content the RE4 had. I was expecting an 8 hour game with 50% cut content but ended up getting an almost identical remake. Separate Ways also exceeded my expectations.
(WOW it’s been a while but here’s my take). Would I have loved to have seen things from the original come back in a bigger and more expansive way like how certain things were handled with 4?, Absolutely, however with what we got I still stand by my words that in regards to the story and certain parts of the game I still believe this surpasses RE 2 remake. Whenever I revisit the remake of 2 I’m always distracted by how incomplete the story feels and to me was a much bigger missed opportunity than 3 remake. But hey that’s just me, I still like what they did with the story and characters and even the stuff that wasn’t included is a bummer yes but it’s not worth trashing this game when it seems like the same if not more stuff wasn’t included in 2 remake. I’ll defend this remake till the day I perish, plus this remake led to something great…your guys Legacy Stream, I’ll never forget the live streams of this remake and you guys beating Inferno Nemesis without the rocket launcher was a goddamn cheer moment and it’s definitely something I’ll never forget from this channel.

Remake 2 has some changes Some better some worse. But I didn't think it was any real different from the original.
As far as local, enemies, bosses, etc.

But 3 Remake? between changing story elements character death's background of the city, so much that we know from resident evil from just records from all the games.... It felt like a different entire scenario of a game. We all know what happened in raccoon city. Honestly i don't hate 3Remake, but as a remake, it failed...completely.

I absolutely hate what they did with three remake I was so excited thinking we were going to get to explore Raccoon City as a big city in a zombie apocalypse which is exactly what I wanted in the game but instead we got basically a trail with very small traces of Resident Evil sprinkled throughout like breadcrumbs. I think it's important to call a bad game a bad game because accepting mediocrity means in the future they will be more willing to make mediocre things but as long as we rightfully call bad things bad so it seems Capcom is listening to feedback which I think is part of the reason for remake is considered the greatest remake of all time I'm just glad to know that the Resident Evil franchise is doing extremely well and even if they don't hit the mark on every single game as long as they really put a lot of love and effort into it I think they will turn out great nobody's going to agree with every choice Capcom makes but as long as they keep putting out good products I'm on board but rip Resident Evil 3
